For some reason, it's like some "fans" are actively rooting for it to fail? And, if you are doing that? Then you are not a fan. It's like they feel it somehow degrades the Anime or something, like if you don't watch Anime, you don't deserve to have a series like this?
It is very weird. It feels like a very gatekeeping thing? Not sure how to completely articulate it My hope is, if people do actually watch it, and don't like it? Which is fair, I am not saying you have to like it. But, please try and not be an ass to the people that do like it.
Having One Piece become the first great LA, Manga/Anime thing, would be amazing. Out of all things, no one thought something like One Piece could do it?
It seems like they did it? But, we still need to watch it. But, I am a completely fine with changes to the story, personally think it would be boring, if it was one to one, which is impossible anyways. As long as the heart of what makes One Piece great is still there? The themes, the sense of adventure, a big world, that is connected in so many ways? I'll be good. Especially when Oda has his seal of approval on it.
I am very hyped for it.
