This arc turned from going into the wrong predictable direction to a new convoluted fun one.
So for me if anything it just got interesting and Oda pulled out a masterclass in execution of everything.
We were going in the direction of previous Dresrossa, Wano and similar arcs where Strawhats are busy running around and chasing separate matchups for 30 chapters.
But now things got spicey and we skipped through the dragging scenes and we ll be updated on the info we need as we go.
I ll say it again. Unless Vegapunk is pulling some next level observation haki feat and wants to catch the WG in the act while they are desperately trying to stop the recording. It makes ABSOLUTELY ZERO sense that the entire recording isnt just put on a nonstop repeat and he lets it rip from the first second.
I think Oda didnt think about such possibility and dropped the ball. People who would want to say such vital information surely would and you can bet that if anyone than the world's greatest brain would come up with that and more....

I don't even get what people are nitpicking. We are making an adaptation for "fantasy realism" Merry cant look like a freaking toy in the pirate world in live action.
It looks great. Same for Shanks ship. If you guys are going to get caught up on this set yourself for world of pain and crying watching the live action.
Right after becoming the yonkou crew?
Right after defeating Kaidou?
Right after awakening / gear 5?
Immediately when facing Kizaru again after the horror of last Shabaody arc?
Losing against the seraphins which are said to be younger not yet developed versions of themselves?
With all the other story wise upcoming bigger hurdles ahead of them?
Not a chance in hell guys.... they may struggle, for story reasons but they are coming on top.

The most problematic thing here is that we need to know that Gorosei are all world known figures. If they managed to stay the same for 40 years characters in OP should know and mention it. Yet besides Ivankov mentioning the immortality surgery for Imu no one says anything about the Gorosei
I am also very interested what happened with a very important Gol D Roger execution and final last words. Anime did a good job putting it as an opening thus helping people remember what this is about and guiding new viewers in. But one would think that part would be cool for a trailer setting.
Agreed quite frankly happy this isnt the traditional run around get to the main bad guy arc.
One more thing guys. The last time WG fought a Yonkou
Now you can sugar coat it all you want but these guys are underestimating the situation/ SHs power big time.
Forget the part where they sent this armada beforehand, thinking that they will just fight VP. They know fully well SHs are backing him up as well now and they are going forward with the assault.
Luffy just messed up Kaidou 5 seconds after getting the feel for Gear 5.
He is and should rip a new one through Kizaru's backside, which is especially sure to happen since Lucci did such a Shounen thing when he stated he doesnt accept Luffy as a yonkou -> making sure we get to see him in the first row witnessing the biggest shalacking since my home made pancake accident.

Meh i see no problem the crew dom8nating match ups untill the final struggle. Its not enjoyment always looking them struggle + they are a yonkou crew
