nope,he asked to her firends if she was an haki user,and they answered that they don't know what he is talking about.that doesn't mean it is not haki,but it isn't a confirmation either.

Lucky or not she´s still the winner. People need to deal with this. She won the block. The rest of the block just lost. So Rebecca==winner, rest of the block== Loosers for all intends and purposes within the Battle Royale Format.

Luck had to do with a lot of SHs fights though. Luffy got lucky that he spat water out when croc dried him like jerky in albasta and the water landed on him.

Nah, i think Cavendish is the real one. Maybe Hakuba is the "protector". You know, we also have something like that in our World. People with more than one personality. The actual persons one, maybe the smart one and the protector, who takes over when the actual person is in danger or something like that. It could also be an survival instinct. Hakuba takes over and mobilizes all of cavendishs reserved power and tries to kill everything in his range to ensure that cavendish can sleep without people who are trying to kill him. Maybe Hakuba is only there for a second, thats why he fell asleep after he hit rebecca. If he takes all of Cavendishs power reserves than its somewhat logic, imo.

from what i understood…cavendish was living pacefully as a swordsman in rommel,than he developed the "hakuba" persona and hakuba kept killing people in rommel.
Then the marine arrived and discovered who was the culprit,forcing hakuba to flee from the island.
cavendish,finding himself at sea (and probably knowing why),decided to become a pirate and continue traveling because he liked being famous.
so even if technically the one who earned most of the bounty (if not all of that) is hakuba,cavedish is totally ok with being an infamous criminal.

and now that i put it on "paper",i realized i really want to see a confrontation between the two sides of cavendish a la "foley interviews cactus jack"

But really, considering the fact that Burgess said it's now the finals in this chapter, I think it's another battle royal with 4 block winners and diamante in the mix

If Diamanté were smart ( and we know he's a genius :ninja: ) he would have a free for all between the four and then immediately fight the winner. I'm guessing the original plan would have been his team vs the Block Winners and then if a block winner won he would fight them but no one ever made it past his team anyway.

Over all, good chapter...This week should be Luffy and his group breaking into Dof's place and fighting ( Hopefully )

We have yet to see new bounty poster for him but the world already seen a pic of Uopp's side profile with Sogeking's name in that newspaper. So the world already associates his face to the alias of Sogeking, shown by DD lol which made my day too

With a four-way battle Rebecca might be in with a chance to win. Her style isn't for aggressive fighting - it's defensive - and who in their right mind is going to waste time on the seeminly weakest character when there's two others looking to take the top dog position? In other words, the men will focus on each other, most likely. Especially having seen that Rebecca is defensive. This gives her the chance to get into a good position and wait on them to engage - and by the time there's one of the three hard-hitters left, who's to say he won't be injured and/or tired? Perhaps enough so as to be taken down/tricked/out-maneuvered~

So… it's not a huge chance, but there is one~

i honestly don't know how people assume burgess is stronger than Luffy.
He never did anything to show us that.
Heck even versus ace, blackbeard told ALL of his men to stay out of it, that he was much stronger than they all combined.
So why do you guys think that Burgess is stronger than a haki monster who's going to beat Doflamingo
and why is burgess stronger than sabo, who (we don't know for sure but) might be as strong as ace (if not stronger, considering 2 years timeskip and rebel training)

I think Burgess is really strong, but not stronger than Luffy. Him being Blackbeard's "right hand man" doesn't have to be a testament to his strength. Don't know why members of Yonkou crews are regarded as stronger automatically. Diamante could easilly be stronger than Burgess. Especially if he has a devil fruit.

Not sure how the last round will be fought, but I just don't see Becca having any real chance.

They're no spoiling anything, as long as you don't know what those characters roles are is okey. The anime only guys might think that those scene are anime only and no taken from the manga but with guys like you saying "Ahh they spoil this and that" then that's spoiling them.

He said that they weren't any match for Ace as they were.

Burgess is a fleet commander in a Yonko crew that also contains some of the worst criminals in history….He's going to be very strong.

We don't really know anything about how strong Sabo is now, other than he was as strong as Ace more than a decade ago.

We'll just have to wait and see.

I'm not convinced that Burgess is all that more powerful than Doffy's top tier fighters and would likely put them near equals at this point but we honestly don't know anything about either of their strengths and are guessing based on positions. Regardless we can both agree that Diamante would believe himself at an advantage being fresh while his opponent has been hopefully exhausted from fighting through the tournament and finals.
