Duchess Carrot certainly feels like one of those decisions Oda takes on the fly and throws away as a 'no one could've guessed it', surprise.
Bassically how he has been writting most of Wano.

The rubber CGI looks like shit.
Rubbery-elastic powers is kinda the achilles heel of cgi artists, no one has ever made it look good, just look at all the adaptations of Reed Richards ever, even the 3 seconds of screentime he shows his powers in Dr Strange, it looked bad.
I believe that in comparission to every other elastic cgi done before, this one looks... decent, besides, Luffy's supposed to look wacky and comical, Im already laughing by just thinking how Gum Gum Hammer is going to look like.

Well Carrot didn’t appear yet
I feel like this message will have to be repeated by 2023.
I already said this in the Discord channel, Im just repeating it around here, I was thinking that for this series in particular, It'll be a lot better if they release a chapter each week, instead of the whole season in one go.
I dont understand the business model of dropping entire seasons in one day, releasing one chapter per week, does keeps series relevant for longer periods and gives enough time for us fans to judge and critique each chapter separately.
I dont know if Netflix has done this before with any other series, I'm just really hoping they give it a try with such a big investment like this product.
What I mean was that Oda made a case so convincing and compelling with Yamato, that even deniers and neutrals came to admit that he had in fact, really good chances of ending up joining the crew, that was regardless of how much complaints and questions remained for the character to answer, at some point, we all came together to say, yup, thats the one, not even mentioning that deniers had their fingers crossed the last few chapters until 1057, thats never happened with any other post time-skip character at all.
So, Oda right here, had the actual intention to sell us all the idea of nakamization, which, as we keep going on, seems even more pointless every chapter.
We could've spent all that panel-time in several other characters.
I ain't enjoying current Oda's writting.
It just struck me that at 12:00 am on August 31st, we're all going to collectively experience a cringey version of the iconic 'We Are' opening of this series.
Be prepared!

Ugh, I could probably live with Muppet Chopper, but human looking Chopper would be pure vomit.
Best option really is just to hire the guys who make Rocket Racoon for the MCU and give them 90% of the budget if necessary.
After all, Chopper wouldnt show up for a couple of chapters at the beggining during Laboon-Whiskey Peak-Little Garden, and he doesnt have a lot of focus in Alabasta either.
Just the Drum chapter(s), he'll get ton of focus and therefore budget, they can make it work I believe.
To add another point in the Drum is a must train. You can have Teach introduced there in Season 2, since he did invade the place.
Wow calm your horses down with that advanced CoO Robby, you gon give yourself anxiety with all those thoughts.
First, let's wait till season 2 confirmation, Im getting curious about who could they cast as Crocodile and what Chopper might look like, So I'll join the 'cautiously positive' team
Skypiea should be discussed, its a very fun arc with tons of endgame foreshadowing, and Eminem aint too old to play himself in a main villain role :P
Shabaody-Amazon Lily-ID-Marineford is a huge mess, not sure what they gonna do there, I wouldnt want to be working in this series if they do get there.
Really wish Buggy's hat was leather and not just fabric.

The simple fact that Imu hides himself behind a veil of deception and lies implies he fears for his life. He's "god" only to believers, he knows the world would rise up if the truth was revealed. To me, he's the ultimate pretender, a cowardly usurper.
I believe the he first joined an alliance to defeat an Ancient Evil. Then he convinced 19 other kings to betray that alliance and seize power to themselves. Then, when the 20 kings decided no one would rule alone, he waited all his peers to die out so he could seize the throne. And even THEN, he made his existence a secret, because if he was revealed as the ruler of the world, others would challenge him for his position.
I too believe Imu will end up being Spandam 2.0 personality wise.
But Im curious about how he fears for his life when he's presumably immortal.
Says フレイム
Not sure how much of a difference that makes

So Stephen has Garling as the former ruler/king of God Valley.
I Was going to mention the same thing, Spanish and French versions do not have him as God Valley's ruler.
And there was already earlier discussions about it on twitter.
Perhaps Sandman can also shed some light on this topic.
