Bartolomeo is significantly higher than Cavendish so I'm happy. I'm shocked the Yamato mafia didn't reach top 10. And more shocked that Carrot actually did.

RE: Pokemon BDSP, Arceus, and other Spinoffs
With the 1:1 faithful remake it seems like, do you think the battle mechanics will be up to date with reusable TMs, Fairy type, and the like? I know all the other remakes had the latest generation's mechanics (aside from FRLG not letting you evolve Golbat and Chansey until the postgame), but the terms faithful remake and 1:1 remake are new to me, so I don't know what I should be expecting with that.
I think it's purely semantics. It's a Generation 8 game, so it should have everything (mechanics-wise) barring dynamax. I expect a lot of Galar pokemon to be available postgame.
RE: Pokémon ORAS and Spinoffs: We Go!
Snap looks really pretty at least.
I'll buy the D/P remakes but I expect to just play it for the 40-60 hours and then put it down forever. Is the Arceus title going to be an actual game or just something pretty short? I'm definitely intrigued.
RE: General Fire Emblem Thread - At Least Mario Got a Funeral
Been playing Binding Blade and just beat Chapter 21. I forgot to bring an Armorslayer or Hammer and was thus forced to use Roy to help whittle down Murdock. Through the magic of supports and a Rapier the usually underperforming kid did about 30 damage, the most of anyone! He even crit like a champ.
Roy's our boy?
I happened to play Binding Blade too actually, and just recently beat it. I think I randomly had a Fire Emblem video recommended to me on Youtube and then went down a rabbit hole. Eventually I got to a video making fun of FE6 for their reinforcements or something like that. So I ended up finding it online here, and I've been playing it the past month or so. I definitely abused arenas because of a lot of the stat growths are pretty bad. And I loaded saves if there were unfair reinforcements lol. I ended up losing one character, the 2nd male thief you get. He died in one of the fog of war maps in the middle, I didn't feel like resetting since thieves can't promote and you just buy chest/door keys in a couple of the shops. I ended up just using one bow user the whole game, Sue. And I kind of regret it. There are a ton of wyvern riders in this game and even the unpromoted ones can take some hits.
I thought the game was pretty good, but the second to last battle of the "true ending" was easily the weakest part for me. You go down a linear path and just fight dragons that are sponges unless you use your divine weapons. And then there are reinforcements following you in a straight line. It made me miss the earlier chapters where 4-8 wyverns would spawn out of nowhere lol.
There aren't really any overpowered characters at your disposal. Berserkers and swordmasters are crazy as usual, but their accuracy and strength respectively seem slightly more balanced then the other fire emblem games I've played. Besides Fa, but she has limited uses with her dragonstone. I only used her to finish off promoted units so she got near 100 xp every fight. Her stats end up being pretty ridiculous if you get her to 20.
Roy not being able to promote until like a dozen chapters after you'll likely cap him the first time is pretty damn hilarious. My Roy had horrible strength so I ended up using a lot of stat boosting items (which you can buy in a secret shop) to clean that up. So you don't really use Roy for half the game and can't rely on an overpowered lord unit. Lilina must have like 200% growth on her magic stat, she just destroys everything. I had give her a few dragonshields to up her defense. In one of the last chapters that had an arena, I decided to bring along my Lv. 3 Wendy and she has the weirdest level ups for a knight unit. She gets more speed than strength/defense. She ends up being a pegasus knight masquerading as an armor unit. It was weird seeing her double-attack units like sages and heroes. At level 8 or 9 as a general I think she had at least 20 in every relevant stat besides Resistance, what a beast lol.
That was fun to finally play Roy's game. Maybe I'll play Ike's next one of these days
RE: Naruto Thread XII: This really has to be the final Naruto thread, right?
I like seeing Sasuke get stabbed in uncomfortable places.
RE: Super Smash Bros
Took a look at the video and I'm probably gonna try it out, damnit. I have a soft spot for characters that hit hard to make up for other shortcomings (slow, bad reach, low jumps)
I played a little bit of Min Min and then didn't touch the game again. Probably gonna pick it back up for Steve
RE: Chapter 991: Let Us Die!!!
Oda really hates Jack lol. His shining moments solely consist of not dying when he gets his ass whooped. It would be satisfying to see the Sulong duo make him eat dirt, but it can't beat a giant elephant nearly killing him. Now he just gets a panel where he flops over. And it seems almost appropriate for such a ho-hum villain like him.
