You should probably put a "parental advise" with Doro. But I agree, in all its goryness, in it's core it is a super wacky adventure with a stellar cast of weirdos. Probably the reason I love it so much.

Jojo Part 2 IS the most adventurous of them + it does follow a classic shounen fight/adventure route (coupled with Martial Arts Training arc). And it's an awesome read.

And Fullmetal and Magi are great shounen adventure reads on their own, so yeah, can't go wrong with those either.

Well considering that person read HXH then the gore shouldn't really matter to them .

Really?! Part 2 is my least favorite so far , really didn't care too much about the characters or the events but since i read it long ago when i wasn't exactly a fan of Jojo , i might go back and read that part again .
