Wrong.. a main character's (fake) death would be spaced out with oda, and the change to buckbeard is too sudden. The sword panel at least should have those blurry movement lines that oda uses to change scene.

Well, in regards to Naruto wearing orange. I assumed he wore orange because it's such a loud color. Naruto's whole personality seems to stem from him being ignored by the village for a good chunk of his life. I figure that he started the pranks and wearing the loudest thing possible to make it harder for people to simply disregard him. So while it's tactically stupid, he craves the attention.

I decided to keep up with it anyway, since I figured I might as well see how it ends since I've been keeping track of it up to this point. I've been reading it just to see what happens, but it's not really enjoyable. In fact, reading it kind of hurts my feelings sometimes. Should I just keep reading since I'm so far into it, or should I quit?

True…But I kinda like the idea of a loud ninja (Much rather prefer Black Star). Not like they really relied on stealth so much anymore. Too many attacks are oversized and landscape destroying abilities...

The way I see it you have two options.
1. Continue reading it and try to enjoy it for the kitsch and just how outright terrible it is
2. If you really get no enjoyment out of it, not even ironic enjoyment, then just stop. It's not worth it.
If you choose the latter and you're still curious to know what happens, then just read a summary on Wikipedia or something.
That's my advice anyway.
@Cyclone: Yeah, and that would be kinda cool if he was, like, a rogue ninja and that was his own thing. But he's pretty much doing it officially, with the academy and ninja licensing and all that. I find it hard to believe Kakashi let him walk around wearing that.
These ninjas have the laxest dress code ever. Or, I dunno, I guess the chunins and Jonins all wear the same uniform, but Naruto still gets to wear whatever he wants (because he's still a genin! Damn, this manga).

Just follow this thread. You get all the enjoyment of the parodies and the mocking, but none of the actual pain of reading it.
I haven't read the series in at least three years (Aside from an occasional chapter thats said to be especially bad) but I still know everything that happens and I get a different enjoyment out of it.

I still think you should read Bleach. Kubo hasn't let me down with a hilariously bad chapter yet.

It would take Kubo more pages to do this much, but I can't match that man's level of craft in only 15 minutes.
Awesome. Unfortunately u used Oda's drawing. If it were Kubo, it'll definitely highlight Zoro's 'coolness', plus Sanji showed some sort of emotion instead of pretentious cool mysterious pose. Hey Robby, if u have a spare time can u do one with Zoro in this chapter, I think that part is the easiest to be made….Kuboesque (or One Peach, as someone put it)

I started reading bleach because of the threads, and i didn't regret that, read it you can start from the latest chapter, doesn't matte anyways) along with Naruto and you'll enjoy what happens here.

When reading Naruto, I get more upset at the shitty writing than I do with Bleach. With Bleach I just laugh it off. There are times I just can't muster enough energy to read Naruto, even if it takes 2-3 minutes to read. Everyone has there limits, even Naruto…

I sped through Naruto because of this thread, to get the jokes and form a general personal opinion on the series. It's incredibly entertaining to see reactions to these chapters, both Naruto and Bleach from AP and other forums.
The stories themselves have made enough missteps already so that they'd never be able to improve, but they are ending, at least seem to be in their last arcs. I'd say just keep following it if you have so far, I do, just for the laughs of how ridiculous they can get. -

Perfect. Back in the Marineford war, I would amuse myself by seeing how many chapters an OP chapters could become when Bleachified. I still remember how it went for chapter 564 (the man who shakes the world)
- We see Whitebeard jumping off the ship again - but from a new angle! First panel is his foot obviously.
- As whitebeard falls to the ground, he has "Deep" thoughts about his relationship with Squardo, and small micro-flashbacks. we see Squardo crying on the Moby dick.
- Whitebeard Lands with a full two pager of him and nothing else, and the conclusion to his "profound" inner monologue. i see this as 6 pages easily.
- Everyone goes Oooh whitebeard! apeshit. we just hear it though, drawing crowds of people is hard.
- Whitebeard and Sengoku share a stare and some filler " this guy….!" lines.
- loads more reaction shots.
- Pirates spring into action to open a path for pops, we wont forgive the marines, yeeeeah
- Decalban Bros talk about Squardos mistreatment, and his feelings.
- Title page: Squardos sword on a black background, title: "The bald pirates hollow tear but no rain"
- The Marcoh/squardo scene, as before but now 4 pages long, and with Big BIG panels, but hardly any more dialogue.
- pirates talk about the marines retreat
- Marines talk about the wall not getting raised fast enough
- John Giant declares his intentions to delay the pirates; We just hear it though, and see nothing more than a Mystery foot stepping forward. End chapter.
I think thats 18-19 pages pretty handily, and I cut out Luffy, Ivankov, Jinbe and Ace.
Regarding this weeks chapter I don't think I'll be doing a mega-post riffing, but jsut sprinkle my thoughts througout the thread.
Thoughts like:
Why didn't Bachbeard drag Ichigo back into the Organization XIII portal? Even if the black goo attacked him, he had Ichigo by his hair like a bitch! -

About the case it may be exageration by the media on the reason being about the characther and more of a familiar issues(which doesn't take sadness and the "stupidity") about this as also the taken from a poster on naruto forums.
Just for people to know. His bff says that Itachi has nothing to do with it, because that guy was familiar with manga so he knew well what happens later. In reality its all due to family reasons.

I would assume his parents' weren't paying much attention since they don't know why he did it. Which is sad really. If what his best friend says is true, they're just looking for a scapegoat.
