When Shank, Yamato talked about Roger and Luffy's similar dream or Luffy said something similar to Roger, they were talking about Luffy's end of dream right?

Not about being the Pirate King because from Oden's flashback it looks like Roger was the 1st one in a long while if not the 1st
One in history.

So, did this mean that Roger managed to reach Laughtale and found OP but failed to achieve his end dream?

If this was the case, I wonder if this was the stuff that Shank asked Roger when Roger returned from Laughtale and Shank cried at that time.

Is this why Shank bet his arm for Luffy because Luffy reignites something in him and makes him bet his arm for Luffy?

Maybe thats why Shank became an emperor some years after he met with Luffy..

I've been waitign for Kaidou vs. Zunesha for YEARS. Gotta showcase that "strongest creature" title against another massive strong creature. I hope Oda delivers on that..

It'd be reeeeeally boring if the final boss is just repeating the visual we've been having for a different lengthy boss. Yeah its cool that Kaidou turns into a dragon, but it'd be lame if BB was also doing that. Esxpecially since he has a bunch of other gimmicks already making him tough.

If fan theory holds up about him getting a zoan to complete the trifecta then theres others actually more helpful to hi than "big vulnerable dragon." Like say "magic healing phoenix".

Of course, the whole "turns fruits off" thing isn't as neat as it used to be given all the applications Haki has now, including being able to hit true bodies and to hit without actually touching. So that certainly needs some souping up beyond the application we saw against Ace over a decade ago. .

I am myself dont like and never subscribe to that theory or even to any kind of theory involving BB gaining all 3 types of Df.
It just that I am trying to ease myself some if those come true.

Speaking about df awakening, i wonder if zoan awakening can also have new ability other than just more extra strengh and durability with more "retarded" looking animal-ish form.
For example like awakened zoan can transform only part of their body freely like what we see from Marco(i am not saying Marco is confirmed awaken zoan).
It just weird that he transformation is little bit different than normal zoan.

I agree with the argument that it doesnt make sense for the mystery fruit to be Kaidou because Kaidou might be in his last arc, so it much logical for it to be a different fruit for a later arc in the story.

But what if it's a Kaidou's df but it got stolen by somebody else at the end of this arc so that it can be relevent in the future arc?

It work better for the future story for example in BB kill Kaidou and got the fruit theory, therefore we can expect to see more new thing from it awakening version.

Kaidou vs Scabbards and Zoro vs Apoo are so terrible.
Kaidou vs Scabbards was just couple of small panels in the manga, they just mostly Kaidou smacking somebody, the attacks were simple but
It look and felt impactful and brutal. Those scene in the manga really reminiscent of classic samurai movies when brawling.
But the anime is so terrible and missing the point. Not only they added many terrible cheesy filler dialogue but the worst part are the actions lack impact, speed and feels.
KKaidou movement also look very stiff and weird. He also keep on smacking the ground mindlessly and terrible animations.

Zoro death lion song lost all of what make it good in the manga.
I always hated Zoro fight but what he did to Apoo and the way he caught the flying vial was beautiful and flawless in the manga.

I want it to be different fruit but I vote for gomu2 no mi because it feel like it tlis the best choice so far in the story and shonen typically.

Even if it is gomu2 no mi, i hope it will be more about its past history connection like for example it was the fruit used by the Nika or void century Joyboy or any other person that were supposedly erased by the history rather than it being
all powerful or special df.
It think it is quite logical to assume the reason why its name was change is due to its connection to some stuffs that happened in the void century.

I remember back in the days discussing it very detail. At that time and till this day I fail to understand what is the issue but I trust apforumers judgements and analysis more than Tite Kubo.
So now I wonder if this new information change anything regarding the soul balance stuff.
