I think Doflamingo wanted to destroy the world so the CDs have nothing. No subjects. They're not above anything.

Well Pagaya was pretty alright after being fried by Enel. Trebol is a total softy in that regard.
Yeah, I actually enjoyed this chapter. Re-reading it and paying attention to Kyros actually made me emotional. Especially all the being a toy and not being able to shed tears or express emotion for 10 long years.
To us, we were in the area not far from 3 years waiting weekly chapters, when it's really only maybe a few hours in the actual story line. Most people wouldn't understand the pain of withstanding no love, or not being remembered for a full 10 years and being slave to a King that had planned his way to the throne. Seeing all the Evil but not be able to talk about it, and having people living now knowing the true Evil. Everyone had a pain that they weren't able to express, there was something bothering them, but they didn't know what.
Doflamingo being found out to be the root cause of this unknown feeling and also being defeated really gave them a sense of relief, which really was shown and expressed in this chapter by the Dressrosians. It was also shown by the Gladiators who almost had the same fate as the rest of the current suffering toys. They were all at deaths door. Their victory and relief was also shown in the emotion of this chapter.
This arc was very well written to me. There are a lot of unanswered questions which is what make people believe it's all stupidity, biggest example being Fujitora. Not to mention he actually he stated that no matter what evil had been brought out, he would be a mere blind man passing by. He has a reason, time will tell.
People keep viewing this as a waste of time in our lives waiting weekly and not getting content they would rather see, when actually this is a set of events that have taken in Dressrosa and have flowed right through in the story line. It's a day where things have happened.

It's also strange that DD is next to the underground port so that's one way to get out of this island.

anime has been shit lately..they finally put some effort in the last episode..but i don't think they will put it consistently…probably by the next chapter it will be shit again.

Some of the parts are not bad. They look better than in manga. And then some parts look worse than in manga. Nothing to be hyped about. It all looks like bad flash animation.

i don't know if this video has been modified in any way,so i posted 2 versions….but any way on the episode they stripped the whole thing of any tension,making it a long boring drawn-out scene,where usopp keeps whining and fears to miss etcetera,etcetera..he even has a vision where he misses....when in the manga it was his moment of redemption..the one where he showed his skills and his confidence on his sniping abilities

But for Dofla to regain consciousness and to go to where Law is so they can talk or for Law to teleport to where Dofla is even though he's spent or for them to meet somewhere in between? Yup, don't see their conversation as early as next chapter, unless it makes a time skip.

I think that Luffy and crew have killed plently nameless fodders, it's just that they're nameless hence nobody cares about them.
Isn't Luffy the type of guy who just kick people ass and when it's done he leave.
Luffy is not the type to keep on going once the enemies down, he just leave them there and move on.
And the difference between Dofla and Luffy is that Luffy don't fight to kill but to protect, once his duty done Luffy's usually going back to his old dork self.

You know for all his talk of looking down on commoners, I think Doflamingo is secretly afraid of the world. He acts all high and mighty because for two years of his life the commoners that his kind look down upon gave him nightmares into his older years. I think he masks his fears of his childhood by self justifying himself through his heritage and keeps holding on to the belief that has a Celestial Dragon he is entitled to do as he pleases.
This isn't about what Luffy does, this is about what Luffy thinks of other people's actions.

Maybe. You know, Croc sort of doesn't despise Luffy, but doesn't consider him a friend, so to say. Doflamingo could be the same after having the sense knocked into him, literally. However there's all the being looked down upon and being treated badly, which makes him non rehabilitable (made-up word sorry).
I don't think Doflamingo would be willing to do the same to an new nation entirely. Even though he mentioned that he could easily do that, Doflamingo would lose his warlord status not too long for now which would prevent him from camping a country.
Doflamingo might come back into the story down the track, but it will be when it is relevant, when there is a lot more talking about the World Government and the nobles. Once Luffy and co reach deep into the story, that's when it'll happen.
Doflamingo might see what Luffy is doing and join him in some form. An Ex Noble seems to be one of a kind, he has information that could ruin them I think, he has used it as black mail as shown with CP0.

Completely, 100 percent disagree. It may hurt the pacing a bit, but there's clearly a very specific reason Oda focuses on the character that he does and the payoff will be worth it (not that it's terrible at the moment. The scale of One Piece is huge, and introducing characters from far away who will at some point have a huge impact is a big part of what makes it so great.

the problem is that there really hasn't been any payoff. we get introduced to some characters and have a significant chunk of the chapters devoted to them and then they are thrown aside when it seems like the editors probably pressure oda to hurry the arc along.
Over the years i guarantee you that at least one crew member has taken down a low ranking marine at some point in the series. Especially Zoro or Sanji. I mean Zoro slahes people so much and then they go flying. I wouldn't be surprised if someone had gotten thrown into the ocean and drowned or something but since they are pirates and they are marines it doesn't real matter all that much. The thing with Kidd and Caribou was that they killed civilians and the other went out of their way to kill marines. Such as catching them and holding them hostage and then killing them. While the SH might kill one in the middle of battle or something but they don't do it 1v1 or sadistically.

I feel you. I would prefer if Toei didn't make their own version completely, like still adding the mangas panels really is what gives that umph to the series.
