The preview for WSJ issue 25 came out, and no we are not getting a One Piece chapter next week.

This fight has echoes of Franky vs Senor Pink. I guess Katakuri is pretty "hard boiled".

Good chapter, now I'm just praying we see Smoothie do something meaningful in the next couple of chapters.

I personally don't believe there was any tech used. I think it was just a Mr. Prince moment. I'm pretty sure Oda just decided to be hand-wavy in terms of Mont Dor not recognizing a different voice.

Count me in on those expecting a third form, one based on speed. Oda creating two forms seems odd to me and vs kaido luffy will probaably get his awakening, so it would be quickly overshadowed.

This was my theory as well. Boundman is Luffy's Offensive form with all his strength focused on his arms and muscles. Tankman is his Defensive form where the majority of his mass is located in his chest/abdominal region. Speedman is where he concentrates his mass in his legs, or at least the lower half of his body, and it makes Luffy much faster and agile. I think that speed is key in defeating Katakuri, or at least helping him overcome his CoO. Like Count said, Oda wouldn't introduce Tankman "full version" if it wasn't a different form.

Good chapter, it seems like Luffy is starting to get a hang of dealing with Katakuri's CoO. I hope my prediction comes true and he uses a new form of Gear 4th next chapter. It was also nice to see Tamago be level headed about the Strawhats and his respect towards Pedro, I only wish we knew where Smoothie was. The Germa tricking Mont D'or was funny, a good Mr Prince throwback, though I'm now wondering where Judge is, since he's clearly not there in the last panel.

I have a feeling his trident is going to be used as some new ability he has yet to reveal.

I think Luffy is going to reveal a new version of Gear 4. We've already seen boundman, which is primarily an offensive power form. Tankman, which I'm assuming has a regular version in addition to a full version, is primarily used for Defense. The next form will probably be speedman, or bulletman and is based around agility. I can see Luffy using this form and Katakuri seeing himself get punched or kicked ahead of time but unaware from where it's coming from so he can't avoid it.

Man I was hoping this chapter would end with Luffy going gear 4th or something. With no water coming into the mirror world, it makes you wonder how in the world Luffy is going to deal with Katakuri all by himself.
