It looks like OPM is now an episode of "How it should have ended". :)

So Murata is drawing a parody of a parody manga now.

RE: Onepunch-Man (redrawn version)
I thought ONE was still behind the storyline, with Murata filling it in here and there. He's a manga artist, not a writer.
I don't know to what extend the changes are by Murata or by One, but the criticism remains.

RE: Onepunch-Man (redrawn version)
its hard to talk about garous character developement when you already saw a different version thats the right one in your mind. I had the same problem with a friend who didn't enjoy FMA brotherhood because he waatched fma 03 before that. and i'm not saying which one is better i'm just saying murata can't really compete with the one you read first
The problem is not that he's merely a different character, it's the way his progression is executed. His original development had ups and downs that make you speculate whether he'll end up good or bad in the end. The remake makes it clear that he is secretly a good guy very early by the way he interacts with Metal Bat / sister and the boy leaving him no more room to develop. It's clear that Murata took the image we have from Garou now and used it to retcon his past character development in the new incarnation. It's like with Darth Vader in Star Wars who was just some dude in a suit in Episode IV, then became a fan favourite and thus first became the emperors right hand and finally some kind of space Jesus in the prequels. And it's not only Garou, it's similar with Tatsumaki and Sweet Mask who were still arrogant jerkasses in the original at this point but already showed clear signs of humility in the remake through their interaction with Blast (who wasn't there in the original).

RE: Onepunch-Man (redrawn version)
It's not even giving Garou more depth. The original left it ambiguous for a long time whether Garou was a good guy or not. After he saved the boy and was dragged back to the monster association he started his monster transformation and did some actions that indicated he might be a monster after all. The redraw on the other hand makes it clear beyond reasonable doubt that he is a good guy and human underneath the monster shell. That's what you get when you write a character backwards, you keep spoiling future development until there is nothing left.

@-Pk-:
Its getting more and more obvious that Saitama is the God-Level Threat that appears in the coming Months, Imo. Of course in a absurdly funny way, like no more special Offers in any Supermarket and/or bigger Problems with the Apartment … Who knows.

Ok, so Fubuki and Pig God have an instant healer combo as long as enough monsters are around? What's stopping her from Fat Tatsu buff?

Mark my words: King will end up as a reality warper once he breaks his delimiter.
