No one deserves to be insulted over propoganda, no.
The actual things they are doing, the actual policies they're putting into place that are dehumanizing and going to cause suffering for millions of people? Yeah, it's okay to be rude to them about that and calling them out for it.
But no, stripping them naked and spitting on them would in fact be a step too far at this point in time.
If someone was treating Obama this way, people wouldn't scurrying to say it's wrong. You know what this event shows us all that both left and right wing need to not do these types of things. And I am saying it from my opinion that I have seen a lot of left wingers do the sort of things that they criticize right wingers for doing, vice versa. And the claims that the media is ignoring the Nazi graffiti is very false, because they have been reporting on it.
And most of the media have sided with the actors and audience over Pence, and yes I have checked other news sites and they really have sided with the Hamilton audience and cast.
I've seen people even claim he shouldn't have even been allowed to attend. For freaking sake, he paid for the show and he wasn't doing anything that deserve criticism at that time. It was putting someone on the spotlight, and publicly humiliating them. They could have done the more mature thing which is ask for him to come privately so that they could tell him about their grievances, but doing during the show was really not becoming.
