It was a good setup chapter, but it all depends on the pay-off.

If Oda focuses on Rebecca, Diamante, and possibly Kyros next chapter, then he is "White".

If he decides to jump around again between the plots, then he is "Black".

At least in my book. Diamante and Rebecca confrontation deserves a dedicated chapter. There was too much build-up already.

Kyros is on his way already, since it's obvious Robin and Barto are staying behind to cover for them. It seems very much possible that we get to see a fight with Diamante fighting and probably overwhelming Rebecca and Kyros coming in to save her at the end of the chapter.

now that we saw this other extent of Viola's powers,I have a betetr grasp of what she can do..basically he has three abilities..
one is like moving the camera freely in a videogame..makes her look around freely but the closer she is,the less she can view,but if she tries to look at something from afar,she can get obstructed by walls and ceiling…that's a pretty good balance
the second one are the "lenses" that she can make and make her able to see things,like the x-ray one or the "mind reading" one
third are the weird giant-tear-whale thing

Just read the chapter and I have to say that this IMO definitely almost makes up for that disastrous chapter from last week. Anyway, here are some of my quick thoughts:

• So the place where Mansherry is being held at is called the punishment room I see? Meh, whatever.
• WTF Kanjuro!? Thanks giving the people down there something to climb, you jack ass! lol
• Oh crap, those zombie toy soldiers look like they will be difficult to defeat.
• Oh my god, could it be!? YES, after all these years, Robin is FINALLY getting a real fight, surprisingly against Gladius!! Too bad she’ll have to share the action with Barto, thus making this a team fight but it’s better than nothing I suppose.
• Rebecca vs Diamante? More like Rebecca and Kyros vs Diamante from the looks of it.

Overall, this chapter was pretty good. :)

Diamante, Trebol and Pica all hold the rank of Executive Officer, as does Vergo (who's a little indisposed at the moment).

They're pretty much tied for second place, strength wise within the Donquixote Family.

Also, Pica used a sword against Zoro as recently as like 2 chapters ago.

Anyway, "typical all muscle no brain bodyguard"? Just an absolute perfect match for Zoro.

Pretty cool chapter, nothing fancy.

Upside being:
-Robin get's to fight
-Luffy can continue going for Doflamingo

Downside:
-No Sabo, no Zoro
-Rebecca having the key to Law's cuffs. Hopefully this will guide Luffy to Diamante, Kyros get's his revenge, Law can get off his cuffs and we are one step closer to Doflamingo.
-fucking Sugar… Why man?! Why?!

I like this chapter. And even if I never said it on this website, I was right about Diamante: The fight will occur on the flowerhill and the nutcrackers are immortal.
Robin vs Gladius ?! Never saw that coming ! I hope it´s a 1v1 but I guess it won't be one…

I don't understand why everyone hated last chapter, it´s been a while since there wasn't random funny things in One Piece, also, it confirmed the fact that Pica wasn't KO which is great because I'm tired of Zoro one shooting people just because.
I agree with the fact that he must get completly wreck by someone in the future in order to hype up everything.

What makes you think Sanji is coming back? I'm pretty sure it was explicitly clear they were heading to Zou and got into conflict with one of Big Mam's ships. Their fate is unknown and I doubt they are going to return to Dressrosa anytime soon.

But story hasnt really advanced much since a while. We are still missing Law's background, half of the strawhats are MIA and if this mess gets solved simply by Luffy punching Doflamingo once I would feel very dissappointed

Pretty good chapter. Some nice gags, Robin doing stuff, some Scarlett exposition even if very minor (plus kid Viola is much better than adult Viola), these nutcracker toys are definitely a step up from the regular toys, and I for one am kinda glad Sugar's back, since her initial run was kinda disappointing.

Oh, and I don't think Barto + Robin is that downgrading for Robin; they're not only facing Gladius but an army of seemingly immortal giant nutcracker zombie toys.

I think it's pretty fair, but, yeah, the sexist ghost is gonna hang over anything Oda does for a while. Well, he did that to himself.

Kinda irky on Rebecca's scared expression, though. I thought she'd be all angry and stuff, not…scared.

They really don't look that similar. Robin looks weird in the color spread, but I think that's just because it's so out of character for her to pose like that. But Nami and Rebecca look very different.

This chapter was great. Sugar's back at it which gives Usopp a chance to win legitimately, and she's now scared for life of long round things...like sausage...so, there's that (which is hilarious.)

Law is going to be able to get his cuffs off soon, so that's nice. Though I'm going to miss ride-along Law.

Robin looks ready to kick some ass. I have the feeling that her and Barto are going to make such an amazing team that I'm going to end up wanting him to join the crew. But I do hope Robin does the majority of the work taking down Gladius while Barto deals with the puppets.

Also, that poor horse. I know it's not dead, but it's head was smashed to bits...

Finally, holly shit that shot of Rebecca standing before Diamante was amazing. The chapter was good and fun, but that made it fantastic. I just stared at that one panel for a good couple minutes, taking it all in. I love it!
