I haven't seen people considering that the Crocodile, Moria, Mihawk, Jinbe, Hancock, Dofla, Kuma couldn't have been the first iteration of Shichibukai.
Theorically there could have been an original group that had been replaced, and that only few of the group we know could be the originals.
This could potentially lead to other developed Seraphims. Also, some Seraphims could be developed based on Impel Down prisoners like Shiki, or even Kaido, who had been captured by the Marines
I suppose it’s possible the warlord idea came only after Roger died, because it seemed like the status quo of Emperor, Warlords, and Marines was what made up the status quo between Roger and Whitebeard’s deaths.
Indeed, so the Shichibukai could have existed as an institution for 20 years, potentially there could have been a full rotation of members before the ones we know
We have had 4 Shichibukai changes in a 2 year span, so that's possibleBut honestly I think that 10 years is much more reasonable
Yeah, I just find it hard to see the status quo of Emperors, Warlords, and Marines functioning in the exact same way when Roger was alive for some reason.
It wasn't necessary because the great era of piracy had not even started yet
I say 12 + Luffy
I still believe in the old theory of 4 crewmembers in East Blue, 4 in Paradise and 4 in the New World
@electricmastro Man, the more it lasts, the happier I am, even if I'm old and the longer it takes, the slimmer the chance for me to see the end LOL
An amount of things lead me to be sure for more than a decade that there would have been a Moon arc.
Enel going to the Endless Vearth
Big villains return, and Enel IS a big villain
Enel cover story about the moon
Hints here and there that some races in the world have exoplanetary origins (Sky people and Lunarians...and maybe more)
And much more you're all well aware of
Still, the more we advance through the story, the more the chance to go the Moon seems to slim down.
Do you guys had the sensation that it was a given arc?
Do you think it's a missed opprtunity if we skip the setting?

@D-aelthasaar Maybe a teleporter from the last island to the lunar city? Love the idea, but the stuff we know about the Lode Poneglyphs means the map can't really point there directly.
Exactly...
Many were deceived by the panel that indicates the 4 Lode Poneglyph pointing at a place

I think it's inevitable that we'll learn more about the moon, even if we don't spend a full arc there. Maybe a flashback, using its setting for some Void Century stuff.
For a moment, I theorised that blasting the Labophase up into space would be the way to escape the Egghead siege and advance the story toward the moon, but that no longer seems to be an option. On the other hand, what if the Yggdrasil-looking tree that's towered over the glimpses of Elbaf we've had so far was actually a leftover Void Century space elevator? I agree 100% that getting the Strawhats to space somehow would be an awesome final-stage escalation for the story.
Execution is the most important factor. A satisfying ending where the moon is only in flashbacks and exposition is better than a moon arc that feels like a sidequest or forces the crew up there with no good reason.
No doubt Oda has imagined up whole space societies after that Enel cover story though, and to him they may be too good to pass up.
Biggest reason I see the Straw Hats going to space would be to find out more of that Skypiean info on the moon. There could be a poneglyph up there for all we know too.
The very Laugh Tell could be on the Moon, for what we know, and that's why only one crew arrived on it

Strong vibes of Bonney nakama
But I doubt she could replace Vivi's spot
But at this point I think that the crew that will go to Laugh Tale will be big, including Vivi, Momo, Kinemon, Yamato
And Smoker, because I don't give up on the idea that Smoker will join

I doubt it will end before 5 years
I didn't get why the production had to force the Garp storyline.
I mean, the execution is good, all the actors/characters involved are great but
A - It removes the reveal payoff of post Enies Lobbies
B - It takes screen time off character building
Not a fan of the Orange Town and Syrup arc being mostly indoor...it feels claustrophobic, when it's not really needed
In the end...it's great when it follows the original source, it's mid when it moves aaway from it
In regards to the character...I didn't feel Mackenyu too much from the trailers, but I must admit he's great, I think Emily is too serious, and I don't feel the angry/serious Inaki...he doesn't have the face and stare for it
Totally love Sanji and Usopp, which are perfect
@Nami
Benn Beckman hadn't been announced either
I don't think Netflix can skip Benn Beckman
