The EU actually backed England by saying Scotland would never be allowed into the EU and would be left on their own. Meanwhile they're all too happy to welcome poverty-stricken, criminal Moldova into the union.

I'm a big proponent of the EU and European integration… but it's currently run by clowns. And not democratic, because Merkel gets to decide 90% of everything that goes on.

I can't for the life of me imagine the justification for even saying such a thing. Do they perhaps go by the logic that ''before Scotland was annexed into the UK by force, it was a monarchy and a dictatorship that violated human rights and Scotland has to apologize for that''?

Because as far as I'm concerned, Scotland certainly fill all the criteria for joining EU if corrupt, semi-third world east european Chizcnic countries are allowed to join and make begging gypsies the entire continent's problem.

I think we will see him in the end of the arc, still lingering in the harbour talking to Blackbeard. He will express regret over not having been able to get the fruit, but Blackbeard will comfort him in saying that it's no big deal, because they got some kind of apocalyptic weaponry brewing.

In the last general election only 1 of 49 Scottish constituencies were won by the Conservative party, yet thanks to the diametrically opposed views of those down south, we've spent the last 4 years with them in power.

The only way for us to right these wrongs is for us to become independent, and had it not been for an incredibly biased, scaremongering based campaign from the BBC, and some last minute "promises" (which are already being broken) from those down south, Scotland would most likely already be an independent country.

Still with 45% of the country (the majority of people up to the age of 55) voting yes in this past referendum, it's pretty obvious which way this is going to go.

It's a matter of when, not if.

I take it this is the reason why so many scotts vote for independence? Is there some other reasons as well, such as ancient rivalry with the english?

I also happen to wonder, would Scotland stay in the EU if they left the UK?

Whether or not they leave the UK; I am moving there in 2 years. Focking aye!

You're out of luck. We had to wait +60 chapters for Robin's flashback, which took around 6 chapters itself. And then another +30 chapters to resolve all of it.

Not to mention Skypiea, which had a flashback in the middle of its climax.

Especially, especially Drum Island flashback which started right after Luffy was about to punch Wapol…. The last page in the volume showed Luffy punching Wapol and then I had to wait 2 months for the next issue. Gaaawd...

I don't know how any One Piece fan does not look forward to flashbacks, they're usually some of the best written story elements of the entire series. A lot of the time, they are also the most impactful moments of a whole arc.

Sometimes, yes. But as a rule they come in the middle of the arc's endgame and in the case of this one, which is torturously long, I would rather have it end soon.
