The time skip exceeded the length I granted it to be in my theories, yes… Other than that, it could still be right, but not the way I had detailed it to be...
It would be a funky smelling smell, that thing it would be. Something like, "Perona walks, talks, and she somehow joined..." which is not what I was trying to go for.
Honestly, 50/50 on her being a temporary passenger, playing the Vivi role. Less than 2% that it could evolve into her joining...

Well it's the half way point in the world.. and Oda always takes 3x as long to do things as he plans so One Piece should be around for approximately 30 more years.
During this whole time I've gotten stuff done for college. I really don't mind. Next chapter hopefully blows us away. (What am I saying of course it's going to!)

Hi, I joined this forum a few days ago, been reading a few threads in Arlong Park on and off since I started getting into One Piece. This place probably has some of the more interesting conversations about One Piece from what I remember, haha.
I like to read chapter discussions because it gives me an idea of the overall consensus of the chapter, plus, it sometimes points things out that I may have missed, which I really do appreciate. ^^ It's even more fun when something out of the ordinary comes along like this four week hiatus, since people tend to say different things when faced with an unpleasant and unwanted situation, haha. Yes, I've read every single post in this thread, except maybe for the ones the mods deleted before I got that far into the thread, although I was able to read some of those posts too. ^^
I really liked chapter 597. It was interesting and full of information. Since it tied up some loose ends without adding too many new ones, it was a really nice set up for the four week hiatus. (Yes, I know, what everything will be like the One Piece two years from the current time is technically a huge cliffhanger, but it didn't feel so bad like some of the more recent cliffhangers Oda has left us hanging with. ^^)
While I am really curious as to what chapter 598 will bring, In a way I'm more curious as to what people's reaction to the new chapter will be. Well, I'll probably be more of a lurker rather than a poster, but I figured I should at least post once. ^^

I think that these upcoming chapters are going to attempt to establish this New Age of Piracy as a much more active setting than the reader is used to. Whether this is before or after the SHPC is reunited, who knows?
I can totally see the next chapter being nothing but an update of what's happened to everyone 'But' the Strawhats. I would wanna kill people, but at least I'd be right.
