Luffy never managed to beat Crocodile. Everything since Alabasta is just his dream while in a coma.
Haki doesn't exist, Luffy came up with it in his dream when trying to come up with ways to actually defeat a Logia. Every haki upgrade was some form of escapism to get away from the current problems in his dream.

Smoker eventually fought Crocodile and managed to win thanks to a last minute help from Aokiji. Then Smoker captured every strawhat and sent them to Impel Down, where they are now.
While being transported in Impel Down, Luffy heard some guards wondering if he would eventually wake up and then his brain came up with Devil Fruit Awakening as well.

Can't wait for Punished Luffy and the Phantom Pain. lol

• Garp clashed with Chinjao many times but he finally won against him in the flashback that we have seen .

• the fight between Garp and Chinjao was ended by using only CoA .

• Chinjao is one of the greatest pirates in West Blue .

Chinjao needs a novel of his own, too.

Today I read about a man who lived in Granada in the 14th century called Ibn al-Khatib, and one of the names people used to call him is "the one with two lives". The reason for that is that he couldn't sleep well and ended up awake most of his nights, so he would use the extra time he had to write books and to do other things, to the point that most of his books were written in those nights.

Obviously, I'm not saying that this is the inspiration for Blackbeard because their could be other similar cases more related to piracy, but I do find it interesting that two people from two different backgrounds would look at not sleeping in the seem light, as if it's an extra life.

I know. Horizontal reduces the size of all the pages, however. Don't see why we can't have best of both worlds, like so many web readers have been managing for years.

I guess it depends on the screen size, because on my screen it's just big enough to see all the details without the pages losing focus.

Add to that that the quality of the pages aren't like what we used to get from scanalators , which is weird.

If you're not seeing the double pages right then you need to change the reading direction to horizontal.

Either way, I think it hypes them up a lot. It's like Oda's telling us to not overlook these guys just because they're not Calamities.
