Also, going back in time at will? That's overpowered as hell.
Out of everything else we've seen so far?

Did he have a protruding bulge in his crotch area?
What, you didn't see. . .that? We're talking king size here, man. . .
Out of everything else we've seen so far?
Well, in a world were every new villain's shtick ends up being "I hit very fast and hard (and regenerate)", going back in time in a way that it effects the current timeline (or so I understood, I think. . .)? That's not even Trunks going back in time fully knowing his actions will have no effect in his timelime, that's going back in time knowing Bills will destroy one sun, hit him in the head before he does it, and the sun is there in the present time? This is what he does, right?
Then, yeah. Couple that with the fact that he seems to be the strongest guy in the universe right now, and yeah, he's overpowered as fuck. That's actually closer to what a God in the DB universe should be like, instead of those Kaioh pansies we had. . .
I wonder if all of those Frieza's goons have fruit names.
Do I spot a skinny version of Dodoria?
RAWs are out.
So V-Jump is a Korean-language publication, now, eh?
[RAW means "graphically unaltered". This is decidedly not.] Ah, well. I'll have the magazine come lunchtime, anyhow. Was just hoping to get a jump on a proper summary.

And here is my critique of their translation. Uh, so yeah….
My actual translation should be up within the day. It's done, but needs to be formatted.
From what I remember, Toriyama has stated he doesn't like Yamcha or Chiaotzu, along with Chi-Chi, so its no surprise they were left out.
As for Gohan, Toriyama always has to make a character look bad to make the other protagonists look good, so now Gohan is the current whipping boy.
Man, Toriyama needs to write more like Oda.
Gohan quit fighting to focus on his studies years ago, and Yamcha stopped training even before the Buu arc.
I covered the real reason for why Gohan is treated like that in Resurrection of F that in the above message.
As for Yamcha, Roshi retired and was totally surpassed at the end of the original Dragon Ball. Though its obvious Yamcha would be left out, as Toriyama doesn't like him which was made clear all the way back in the Trunks Storyline. Guy was left alive only because Toriyama was too lazy to kill him off.
Tell me again, why people think Toriyama writes Good characters?

I too am incensed that the nearly mute clown child thing that served the sole purpose of "other guy in Crane school" was left out of this motion picture.
Here are spoilers for the third chapter of the movie manga:

Not sure if there are any translation errors this time.

I'm not much of a fan of him, but thats Toriyama's own fault for making him nothing more then an ear for Tenshinhan to talk into.
As for Yamcha, I never got why Toriyama didn't kill him off in the Android Arc considering it was obvious he didn't give a shit about him at that point.
If an author isn't going to use a character, they should kill them off.
From what I remember, Toriyama has stated he doesn't like Yamcha or Chiaotzu, along with Chi-Chi, so its no surprise they were left out.
I doubt he ever said that.
I doubt he ever said that.
Kanzenshuu has both interviews if you look around.
For ChiChi, Toriyama said he didn't like her, and it was challenging to draw and write her.
On Yamcha, Toriyama has stated his dislike of several times if I remember correctly. Kanzenshuu has an interview where Toriyama said Yamcha didn't get to be happy because he didn't like him, or something along those lines.
If an author isn't going to use a character, they should kill them off.
He did use Yamcha…...as fodder.
Using a weaker character to show how strong the baddies are is fine… the problem lies in that Toriyama's short-term memory meant he probably didn't realize that Yamcha never won any fights at all to be credible with.
Ah, so that's where Oda got it from…
Still though, it's nothing to be mad about. Dragonball was always mostly about Goku.

Part I DB was about Goku.
Part II DB was mostly about Gohan development and growth.

! Gohan continues to being a letdown..
Well, THAT lineup I could belive being beaten by the army, if Frezer has a new Ginyu force or something.
They realy need to work on the excuses on why the characters aren't participating, next movie krillin will be away washing his hair or something innane.
Next movie everyone decides to go on holiday for a day, and it's up to Chaotzu, Yamcha, and Sirs NOT APPEARING IN THIS MOVIE to save the day against a reanimated Cell with a super form
Gohan, there's a middle ground between being a non-stop training freak like your dad… and getting so sloppy that you potentially can no longer do something the 8 year olds are doing on instinct.
You don't need to train non-stop man but squeeze in a half hour here and there or something!
This is so bad. Really.
Is Mr. Satan even in this movie?
This all seems to be a weird ploy to get you to like GT.

Did Gohan ever even like fighting or care about it? My memory may be fading, but he always seemed reluctant to train or fight, from the time he was kidnapped till the end, unless he was protecting someone important to him. But yeah, you're right that he should have some type of periodic training, if not for his sake, than the sake of the Earth. There have been a pretty constant stream of villains coming there since he was a kid and he's supposed to be its strongest fighter. Actually, it makes no sense considering Beerus visited a couple months before in the story's timeline. That should have been a wake up call. (though it would have been the opposite before, when Frieza's two fuzing henchmen came.)
I wonder in what timeline has the stronger Gohan.
Where is #18? She's at least more powerful than the "not Goku and Vegeta" team and because she never runs out of energy very useful against hordes of mooks.
Where is like half the cast.
@Cyan:
Where is like half the cast.
Busy not being characters Toriyama wants to write and Yamamuro wants to add to the storyboard with no dialogue.
Well, THAT lineup I could belive being beaten by the army, if Frezer has a new Ginyu force or something.
Considering that Tagoma was considered notable and was only as strong as Zarbon, I doubt it.
Even if they were on par with the Ginyu Force, the notion that any of these mooks would pose a threat to Piccolo, who is definitely well above Cyborg Freeza in strength, is a complete joke.
I'm actually sort of interested in seeing how Roshi does against the guys. Has he gained any strength since Dragonball? (he'd need it against even mooks, eh?)

Considering even Raditz was far above Goku who was far stronger than Roshi at the time, yeah, he'd need to be much stronger in order to fight a basic mook and stand a chance.
Maybe he trained for four months.
Maybe five, even.
I'm actually sort of interested in seeing how Roshi does against the guys. Has he gained any strength since Dragonball?
Roshi trying to get stronger basically ruins his character arc since his entire deal in Dragon Ball was finding somebody capable of surpassing him that he could pass the torch to.
So, yeah, probably.
Where is #18? She's at least more powerful than the "not Goku and Vegeta" team and because she never runs out of energy very useful against hordes of mooks.
#18 is never interested in anything unless there's money involved.
Although i wouldn't rule out a scene where she comes to rescue Krillin or something. I think it was her voice actress who said they share some good moments together..
Honestly I'd put money on 18 showing up as the 'Piccolo moment' of this movie. She only cares about money and her family's well being. If someone informs her this movie last time her husband faced off against Frieza he was blown apart, she'll probably be there in a flash.
Was it confirmed what Sorbet's magic ring does yet?
Otherwise put me down for the guess of 'power amplifier' since a one thousand strong army on Zarbon's level or under would easily be destroyed by even Krillin or Tien soloing it.
Heck; Chiaotzu could of probably taken a quarter of this army if they're that relatively weak.

So, yeah, probably.
In Toriyama's defense, it's not as if Roshi gaining any strength would have him surpass anyone. Plus, there are a billion new ways to train in Dragonball Z period.

Nope it was about some jokes, then it became about punches.
Is #17 still going around pointing shotguns at random people?
Where the heck is even Popo? After Roshi's revival, I aspect to see Super God Popo in action to pulverize Frieza and all of his henchmen in one shot!

Popo is more of a troll than an actual fighter.

Somebody did a piss-poor job at trying to replace the A in "Karin" with an O after the fact. Scanslator infighting?
(Not that the translation isn't piss-poor in general.)
In Toriyama's defense, it's not as if Roshi gaining any strength would have him surpass anyone. Plus, there are a billion new ways to train in Dragonball Z period.
If Roshi got stronger by virtue of sparring with people like Krillin or Yamcha, that'd be different than if he decided to actually try and improve his skills after decades of retirement.
Where the heck is even Popo? After Roshi's revival, I aspect to see Super God Popo in action to pulverize Frieza and all of his henchmen in one shot!
I doubt Mr. Popo cares whether or not one group of useless maggots kills another group of useless maggots.
Mr. Satan will suddenly appear and defeat Super Freezer, thereby becoming the true hero who defeated all 3 main DBZ villains.

Mr. Satan beat Garlic Jr.?!
Well chapter got (somewhat) translated.

What is clear is that Golden Frieza wont be stronger than Bills imo.
It really is silly they need to make an excuse to get everyone out of action. Just have everyone jump into the onslaught, do a move each, get an impressive moment, and then get beat down so its more impressive when the big guys take them out easily… and makes the big bad more impressive in comparison. Adds only a couple minutes to the screentime and everyone wins.
(That same time they're using to explain why everyone is gone and a super lengthy convoluted explanation for Frieza's return… when you could have just said that off camera his mooks conquered new namek or something)
Thats what fodder sidekicks are for.
Worked fine in Tree of Might.
That Bills scene intringes me, Will he be the one that kills Frieza?
The Cinema City page has finally updated with a new runtime that is much more realistic given the production schedule and condition the industry has been in. Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F will run for 94 minutes.
Is this manga just telling us the story of the movie? I thought it was a prequel?
