I don't think the Happo navy is the official navy of Kanokuni, but rather the kingdom is on good terms with its leaders, or that it uses the services of several fleets. There's also a Nippo navy.

I hope we get to see what happened in Baltigo. But i doubt it. Since Reverie is so close, Dragon must be planning something for that. No way would he waste all his resources fighting a Yonkou for no reason. He probably left the island and BB and his goons ravaged it.

Exactly right. They probably abandoned the base because a) Burgess found the hidden island and/or b) the revolutionaries don't need a core base and are on the move.

Then a detail to be explained would be that Burguess wasn't asking for a meeting to Sabo back in Dressrosa. I wouldn't buy it tbh. To me it looks more like BB destroyed the island,or it got destroyed in the battle.

In my opinion (for what it's worth), I think that MDD knew/was aware of JB presence on Baltigo. That being said, he wrapped everything up as quick as possible and but wasn't able to leave before BB and crew got there. However, anything he needed to move was already on the ships sailing out and there may as well have been a skirmish between the two sides. Pretty sure that Dragon is on par with BB as are some of his commanders. I mean it's the RA, you need admiral level folk in your ranks if you want to overthrow the W.G.
That being said Baltigo is done with, on to the next base! Who knows, maybe it's time to make the move! Someone said that Dragons head would be given at Marijois, I doubt it, R.A has been hyped up for to long to be thrown in the gutter like this.

I think something is gonna happen to Shirahoshi during her visit to Marejois…her power might have been revealed to the WG through connections Caribou mustve told Kaidou...who knows, maybe the govt tapped their call or something. if she gets kidnapped and calls the sea kings or something...damn man too much shit happening all at once.
I think Oda has picked up the pace of the series quite a bit. I mean during Dressrosa it seemed slow but since then its been crazy!

Man, I see this meeting being an in-universe dynamic game changer. I think the biggest game changer will be tearing down the Warlord System after what happened in Dressrosa for a decade. I also have high hopes for Carrot, and sense she might be become a permanent party member or a guest party member. I actually see Carrot being a girl of sixteen, which if she joins the Strawhats would make her the youngest member which would unseat Chopper from that position.
Also the news of what happened to the Revolutionaries' base shows again foreshadowing that maybe Blackbeard will be the final antagonist of the series.

It's not really strange if the revolutionaries at Baltigo lost to BB's gang. I mean their forces are spread out over the world, with only two really major fighters who were present at their HQ. If all ten of them showed up to battle it'd be a borderline curbstomp

I think that Dragon the reason Dragon was assembling the RA was to go to the reverie. Can someone refresh my memory did Dragon begin to assemble every1 before Sabo got back or after? Because if Sabo was back that means that Dragon's plan was foiled instead of them actually moving out…... But if Sabo was still not back it could give time for all the RA to get to baltigo and then it would be more likely that they found Burgess as they were leaving and decided to blow Baltigo up. I have a hard time thinking that BB was able to get there and attack and win already. For one Dragon is way too hyped to lose off panel and two I think the Revo's are way smarter than that.

Also, I don't think it was stated how long it took for Sabo to reach Baltigo. If both Sabo and the Blackbeard Pirates were able to get there as quickly as they did, I'm guessing Baltigo is in the New World.

One of those little details that I usually let slip by, but… assuming the translation is correct that hundreds of princes have made an offer to be Vivi's husband... seriously? There aren't even hundreds of countries on Earth... it's less than 200. I don't know how many countries are in the One Piece world, but it seems kind of off for that many princes to exist, be eligible, find out and offer to marry. Maybe there's some detail out there about the one piece world that would make that make sense, but it seems to be another reckless passing mention & use of countries by Oda, since Doflamingo supposedly destroyed several just to keep Baby 5 from marrying, Whitebeard's "son" destroyed a lot, etc-- yet when we actually see it, like on Zou or Dressrosa, it's a huge deal, and the maps we've seen of the Grand Line and such don't seem to support there being that many countries. I dunno, I'm open to being corrected on this if there are some things that've been mentioned in the series that I'm forgetting which help it to seem more realistic.

My god, where do I even begin with this chapter? It's almost like Oda heard all of our predictions following recent chapters and made them all come true. People were literally JUST discussing in the previous thread the likelihood that we'd finally see the king of Goa heading to the Reverie, and that Stelly could potentially return as well. Well, Stelly IS the king now.
Why, hello there familiar faces from Alabasta! Thrilled that Vivi and company got to come back in the very next chapter for a bit more exposition. And as expected, here comes everyone else! Wapol, Dalton, Dr. Kureha, Shirahoshi and company…AND HINA!!! <3 .....Awesome.
But the real show-stopper of this chapter was definitely Carrot. She has captured my heart almost instantaneously. She's both blood-thirsty and adorable at the same time. head pats
As good as One Piece is, and as wonderful as the Zou arc has been, this chapter had me grinning from ear to ear from beginning to end. I'm going to read it ten more times. And once the official Viz translation comes out on Monday, I'll read it 20 more times. The entire scene on the Sunny with Carrot and the others was hilarious and heart-warming at the same time.
Can't wait to see what sort of cliffhanger we're left with next week prior to Goldenweek!

In the same chapter she gets introduced as a captain, Smoker is getting a promotion.
He was offered a promotion and he told them to stick it. Only after Skypia (I think?) we get a new info box with his rank being commodore. It's not like all of their promotions to that point were simultaneous, someone had to go up first, and she was introduced as his equal, so him getting a promotion first doesn't mean she would stay one below for two years.
The way I see it, it's more about Smoker actively trying to gain ranks, and getting himself into G5 in the NW where all the fighting is, while Hina stayed in the Alabasta region.
