But that aside, I suppose the biggest discussion, if anything, are Nami's biological parents, in light of her vivre card describing her as having been found at a kingdom. I still don't know if her parents were nobles or anything, or if she was even born there though.

Thanks, my mistake, Zoro's Sensei, not his parents, is a big name from Wano. So his parentage is open as well.

Being a foundling in a war zone Nami always struck me as having important parents. My thought was maybe a World Noble? They wear the bubble suits to keep separate from the atmosphere & Nami has a high affinity with the weather, could be the two things are related (but this is just a notion, of course).

Has there been much speculation about the unrevealed parents of the Straw Hats recently? Sanji, Luffy, Usopp & Zoro's parents have all turned out to be important characters so does that mean the likelihood of others being so has risen?

And was looking at the picture of living Brook. His height, swagger and love of shades reminds me a lot of Dr. Kureha.

Guessing they're going to reveal that Roger, Shanks and Blackbeard all laugh so much not because they're naturally good humoured, but because they all knew of the Nika fruit and Joyboy & were hoping to 'fake it until you make it'. Shanks had enough self-knowledge to know it wouldn't work for him so was hoping to find Ace. After Luffy ate the fruit he realized the boy was a better fit.

The powers, the look and the history I don't hate, but the reclassifacation to Mythical Zoan to make it more special I hate a whole lot.
Phrased differently 'Joyboy was someone who used the gomu-gomu fruit to its full potential' is very cool.
'The gomu-gomu fruit is actually the very most specialest devil fruit ever' is not.

The only worse twist I can think of is that Gol D. Roger was the previous user of the fruit but nobody, in the entire series, ever thought to mention that before.

Good points, thanks. From the last panel we saw her in she's been wounded but because of the way it cuts out thought there was a possibility she'd pilled a Pel and the rest is just logistics. If she didn't timejump herself she has had 20 years wandering around waiting for the others.

I'm unsure though about the DF differences, we've seen a lot of them that have other effects that don't seem to be related at first glance and only Toki's DF has a name. 'Time' is the only thing their powers seem to have in common.

I thought Jewelry was only posing as the Queen to sorbet though? Will have to go back and read again. Thanks for pointing it out.

Evidence as such:
Toki has a time-related devil fruit.
Jewelry has a time related devil fruit.

Toki travelled with Whitebeard.
Jewelry was extremely upset when Whitebeard was killed.

Toki was wounded in around mid-thigh.
Jewelry wears stockings that cover her to around mid-thigh.

Toki disappeared over 20 years ago.
Jewelry is believed to be a rookie who started making a name for herself over 20 years later, closer to when Toki sent the Clan members.

They both have similar builds & it's a bit hard to tell if there are major differences facially, but a dye job and facial piercing are just cosmetic really.
They wield different weapons and carry themselves differently but people change.

So whatever the One Piece is Roger had to leave it behind because there was some condition he hadn't met?
Maybe Whitebeard and Shanks knew they to get their own shot at the treasure they had to have someone with them that met it and both could've known that Roger's son was the best candidate, even if neither knew exactly who that was.
This increases my suspicion that Shanks wasn't in Foosha Village by coincidence way back then, he was actively searching for Ace. Maybe when he met Luffy he sensed the same qualities and decided saving him was worth an arm because at the very least it meant he had a back-up option out there.

Could be too much but on the other hand it could tie some of those threads together. As far as the WG knows JB/Hiyori is the last surviving member of the legitimate ruling family of Wano. That would alone would make her a valuable pawn to them & there's also her family's link to the poneglyphs. And if the WG want her that gives a reason for Kuma, representing the Revolutionaries. Maybe there's a link to Whitebeard in that as well, but we still don't know how he and Crocodile are linked so wouldn't hold my breath on that one anyway.

Did not think that Jinbe would join for a while, just the nature of rumour and reputation in the OP world it would be hard for Luffy to shine if he was considered only an ally of the ex-Shichibukai. To me the only point Jinbe would be able to join the Straw Hats was when it was going to be very, very clear that he was joining Luffy as an underling. Doesn't mean I'm not disappointed as hell over this and wish that we'd reached that point already.

Carrot looked as if she was well on her way into joining the crew until she got her super-saiyan bunny powers. It took her from competent to on the verge of completely over-powered. Even if it is only once a OP month it made me feel she was far less likely to join.
Don't know if she's going to travel with them past the arc, but it doesn't look like we'll see the new members until deep into Wano.
