The strange last name of the Queen of Goa. Because of Stelly being adopted into Sabo's family would that mean that Sabo shares the same last name?
Does the emblem on the Alabasta flag look similar to that Wano sun/moon to anyone else?
I think I pointed that out somewhere in the Reverie thread before, but yeah, maybe a hint they were connected.
Stelly's last Name just doesn't let go of me: Nonjuggernugget, was it?
About Goa King's obscured face:
Maybe Oda didn't want to give it to us at all. He wasn't worth a mention b4 the flashback (unlike Akainu in Ohara or Dadan post-EL*). So there is a possibility we won't see his face at all.And IDK who, but someone posted that even if we saw him in Dragon's flashback we couldn't even tell if it was really him, since we know almost nothing bout his face. Or should everyone remember that ONE Panel where we saw the lower half of his face (black mustache and black goatie, if it was him and not another careless sleeping noble)?
*) what I mean is: Akainu and Kizaru have been "introduced" like the Shichibukai (silhouettes) by Robin @ LRLL. Akainu was then "shown" @ Ohara (clever Oda using the form of the marine-hats for obscuring the marines' faces).
Dadan was mentioned by Windmill Village Mayor post-EL and was a big question mark for a Long time until the Goa-Flashback.And although we already saw BB's face, it seems to me that ever since the TS Oda avoids to Show us BB's post-TS-beard. We can only assume how the beard's gonna look if we look at Burgess' denden mushi (longer beard tied to several knots/"ponytails").
-
That's a very poor hipotesis. Considering the amount of detail that oda puts in his work, and how everyone has a face and a name, and the ammount of SBS questions that he gets asking him to identify people like the conehead kids from dressrosa, the peeping lady from water 7 and the old guy with the spotted shirt from the coliseum both young and old, there is no way that the king won't have a face, unless the joke is that "he's always obscured" like miss belum from ppgirs or something. And that's a too meta for oda, that is something that sorachi would do.

It's good you mentioned her. Do you think she is at the Reverie too?
My Point is, we won't even recognize him, even he was shown in Dragon's flashback (since this has to happen b4 Luffy's chronologically, because maybe the only detai we know bout his face - the mustache and the goatee - might not have existed in Dragon's flashback.
At least we can b sure that he won't be present in the current timeline. Maybe he gets mentioned by Stelly or Sally, but the last Chance we get to see him is Dragon's past. That's the Point I wanted to make.Right now the chances are higher that we'll see St. Jalmac's face in the near future. He and Sabo have things to settle…
Since we also didn't see Jalmac's face properly and Dadan's line "The 'world' has killed Sabo!", I also think that it was Oda's intent to not give us the faces of the "culprits", but we have to take those culprits as some Kind of "faceless" powers. Arrgh, hard to describe in a non-native-language.

Everyone talking about the king of goa. I don't remember him at all. Was he even important in any way, that warrants long discussions?
-
And the king who looked up to the skies in this chapter: Could he be the current king of Lvnell KD? The Roof of the Tower in the BG KINDA Looks like the roofs of the Lvnell Castle.

That is the question why we discuss about him. If he was that important we would know why his face was not shown. But since not everybody even remembers him, then why he hasn't been given a face by Oda?
-

There was just a theory about him being Luffy's maternal grandpa, and for some reason people were really bothered by it.

Why do I imagine vega to be short?
Don't answer that. It is about time for Vega's reveal, I cannot wait. I hope he is the most normal looking character in the whole One Piece universe and dresses like Mark, Job, or Bill. That would be nice.Maybe because of this?
Of course, maybe that was just his proxy-bot or something.
-
Maybe because of this?

Maybe that actually is Vegapunk, and he's actually one of those alien…things seen during the Enel cover-story; could end up with us seeing more of the moon civilization and such during the arc Vegapunk is officially introduced.

Thing is, the apearance I posted contradicts the previous appearance represented in Kuma's mind:
Either Oda changed his design (like he did multiple times with Kanjuro) or the thing conversing with CC was a remote controled bot. Or something like that.

You know that's Mojo Jojo right?

Do you see a face in that silhouette posted above? I see a body on the left, then on the bottom right the angle of a coat, and a cane with a circular shape on top. Marines said that he was an old geezer so we can assume he maybe has one.
There is also the fact that Caesar blew up the place, so either Vegapunk had a logia or it was really just a proxy bot.

Vegapunk is from the same island Franky went to during his time skip so he more likely looks like the people on that island.

The other picture looks just like his head and arms he most likely has a big head lol.

.One island doesn't have identical people.

One island doesn't have identical people.
But islands can have a style of dress.:ninja:
-
Remember the Symbol Sentomarou had on his Cloth (the momotaro-cloth, not the navy coat)? I always thought that Symbol somehow resembles VP's head/hairstyle. And I guess his head is big.
-
One island doesn't have identical people.
I told the second person i quoted that he most likely just had a big head which could be because he ate some type of human fruit which would make him smarter since Oda did say in a sbs that if a human ate the human fruit they would become enlightened which could be the cause of his higher intelligence maybe he ate the dwarf dwarf fruit which would reduce his size but make him smarter.
-
@sanji''s_dad:
The queen is a royal she gets to keep her last name
That's not how that works even in royalty. A queen or princess marrying outside the family (when they uh…did that...lol) meant the dynasty name changed.
Take a look at the British royalty.
You see like a bunch of different dynasty names right? Windsor....Stuart....Tudor....York...Lancaster...and so on. And you think these are all different dynasties? Nope! A couple of those name changes were brought about because a female member of the bloodline passed the crown to an unrelated male (though the offspring would continue the bloodline).
But ancestry wise? Allll those dynasties of England/Britian lead back to William the Conquerer. It's the same bloodline still to this day with Liz II.Now the idea that Oda might ignore that for the King making a deal with Stelly? Sure maybe. But it's not at all necessary for Oda to twist that to being the case.
It makes sense for them to look like each other since people have said that alabasta was a double agent in the war against the ancient kingdom
Yes people have said that, people on this forum who are probably very wrong about that. No idea why you'd base a theory on those shaky weak grounds.
which would also explain why they had a ponyglyph and the ancient weapon pluton buried
The WG is completely all about keeping the Ancient Weapons asleep, or at the least Pluton. Not seeing how Alabasta having the burial site is proof of open conspiracy.
The Poneglyph kind of is/was…...but? Honestly I'm even doubting that right now given how Cobra apparently doesn't see an issue with chatting with the Gorosei or whoever about it.
I'm more partial to the WG knowing Alabasta has one, and maybe twisting the legacy of the AK by telling subsequent kings and queens of Alabasta something like "Oh yeah, you're supposed to guard it and keep it safe....from ANYONE."before roger moved it to raftel for safe keeping
What the hell are you talking about? Roger didn't do shit with Pluton. He found out where it was is all.
in chapter 0 shiki wanted to know where the ancient weapon that roger found was
Alabasta somewhere like we ourselves found out.
-
Are we sure it is merfolk tails ? Did we have an emblem beside Neptune tatoo representing the royal family of Fishman Island ?
Purely speculative. They just look like them more than they do crossbones and operating under the assumption that the sun is indeed Alabasta's insignia on the Kouzuki crest, it would fit as they both had poneglyphs containing info about the ancient weapons. And as far as I know I don't believe we saw any other insignia during Fishman Island but I may be mistaken in that.

There is only one of these fruit in the world and Chopper already ate it. The Sengoku's version is the mythical version.

It isn't more common in Japan when someone of lesser standing marries to a higher family to take the better family name, regardless of sex?
Granted, I've only seen it in anime (Gendo Ikari, Azami Nakiri and Youchiro Yukihara) but https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jiroemon_Kimura this dude did it as well.

Also Sabo's full name being Sally Sabo would be something that Ace would had made fun of.

If it's a thing in Japan that changes a lot.

We have no idea how many models there are of the hito hito no mi.
-
So can someone tells me when the spoilers will come out?
-
Never again there will be spoilers. They caught the spoiler providers, and are currently in jail for copyright infrigment and petty theft.

Wait. Sally is the Family name?
-
Wait. Sally is the Family name?
well in japanese they're written the other way around. e.g. monkey d. luffy, monkey d. garp and monkey d. dragon

Wait. Sally is the Family name?
Did someone hack my account? I don't remember writing that. :ninja:

Oda was making an obscure reference to Sengoku's human fruit at the time, cause he ate the buddha model of the human fruit.
-
It's pretty weird when you realize it but yeah…Newgame, Teach and Linlin are first name.

Can you think of any other kind?

@Monkey:
Roger didn't do shit with Pluton. He found out where it was is all.
Have I missed something? Where was it stated that Roger found out Pluton's location? We only know that he knew the location of one of the three ancient weapons, but we don't know for which one IIRC.
-

You misspelled WB's name, it's Newcart. And the second name's Chocheh.

He knows Poseidon's from the poneglyph by the bell in Skypeia. That's it as far as we know. i doubt he knows Pluton's.
-
@Vice:
So can someone tells me when the spoilers will come out?
In about 5-7 hours if it follows the patterns like the last weeks
-

Cobra would have said something, if Roger was at the poneglyph.

Masuru D. Chocheh !
!
-
Can you think of any other kind?
Dwarf, fairy, giant, ogre, just to name a few… Pretty much any intelligent humanoid creature.
