Depends on Doffy's inate reaction time. Even then I'm assuming he used hardening if he's going to continue this fight, considering Red Hawk's explosive qualities; he just wasn't able to dodge.

Concerning the cover story, does the ship that Jinbe helped out seem to be the one Zoro sliced down at the start of the Return to Sabody arc? Because if so, it would mean that Jinbe would be close to Sabody Archipelago.
I don't think it is. It seems like there are three sets of gigantic claws on the ship, maybe from a sea king?

It's also worth noting that Trebol is pretty much the worst possible tagteam for Doflamingo ever. Teaming up with the extremely sticky guy in a fight where mobility is hugely important seems like a no-go, especially when Law can toss around said sticky guy's sticky body parts at will.
Fourth, I suspect we're seeing just how badly wounded Law is, since this was one of the smallest Rooms we've seen. He probably doesn't have the stamina left to make one of the fuck-off-big ones that are (presumably) needed to cut through the hardened CoA of someone like Vergo or Doflamingo.
I would love if that was the case.
The problem is, that we can't tell, since his powers are so… undefined.
Speaking of Skypeia, that punch came 42 chapters into the arc; this one, of course, is 59 chapters into the arc. It's admittedly a completely arbitrary metric, but if we assume that first connecting punch happens at about the same relative point in the arc each time, Dressrosa will end up being about 91 chapters. As a result, I think it's a reasonable estimate that Dressrosa will run a total of 75-95 chapters. I had previously been guesstimating somewhere around 70-75, but that doesn't feel like enough to wrap up the outstanding flashbacks, Zoro v. Pica, Sabo v. Fujitora, Robin(?) v. Gladius, Kyros v. Diamante, Franky v. Senor Pink, Law(?) v. Trebol, Luffy v. Doffy, and then wrap up the arc.
You forgot about citizens.
I'm guessing we are in more of a Water 7/Enies Lobby length. So between 100 and 110.

I dunno, problem with Observation is that unless one figths with enemy using projectiles it is incredibly hard to tell when it's being used.
Not as good as Men's World, but the best chapter in a while.

Well the attack did happen rather fast and from what we have seen law DF when he switch stuff it happens right away .

On the Law DF issue I'm with Kishido and a few others. Far too overpowered with ill-defined limits.I fear this may be in part because Oda having set the parameters for the operation of Haki through Rayleigh. Oda I think wanted to highlight the 'everyman dream with haki' vs the 'DF elitist' element because if he had not, then Roger's call would only make sense for DF users since the 99% of pirates without one would fail and be defeated.
But then he recognised that anyone who masters the three Hakis would tank through the first half of the Grandline and the Admirals like a breeze. It would have rendered DF's obsolete, as we saw how even the previously all-powerful Logias can be laid down with a haki infused punch.
So Oda swings the other way, making Dfs with hax uncounterable powers with vague and arbitrary limits such as Law and Sugar's. Law and Sugar both can solo the entire Marine organisation since at present, one cannot counter or resist their powers without either evading them or taking them out first.
My hunch is that we will see Oda again making another course correction in the future by revealing there are tiers to haki mastery, one of which will possibly allow someone to oppose a hax df user

Well, I don't think Oda wants to reveal everything about his capabilities yet. We're still learning about them, since his role in the story isn't done yet. We generally learn about the powers of villains and arc characters quickly because they're only around for one arc. Remember how many hundreds of chapters it took to even have it canonically established what Doflamingo's power is.

Given that Law wasn't around to hear Doffy say it to Tashigi, I'm guessing it was also said when Corazon was killed.

Thank you nate and nex for supporting my idea of Bellamy being in laws crew. It's just has a nice ring to it. There is something about him that doesn't fit strawhat agenda. He has no personal outrageous dream like the strawhats.
Maybe the 1st corazan was related to Bellamy in some way? That would be an awesome character development for him. Maybe that is why Bellamy has respected him so much as a kid.

That's what I like about his character. He's still a colossal dick to his underlings, but he has a big attachment to his higher ups we don't really see from the other big villains
The fight between The executives and the mugiwaras along with allies has to end before doffy is going down. Also Law's flashback. Sabo and Fuji's fight might end with a stalemate once the birdcage go down. It would be strange if either one of them won. Hopefully, Zoro get's a meatier challenge than Pica too..

DD depression 13 years ago interest me. I mean what the hell could he be depressed about? Unless it dealt with his crew mates or family. Hints keep on dropping that DD is not so heartless as people and especially law seem to think.

In the translation on MangaInn, it looks like Luffy's saying "screw the plan" and actually legitimately trying to hit Law. Other things are said about Luffy & Bellamy "kissing" and being "butt buddies". It's much better with the other translation

Or Bellamy could stay in Dressrosa. It's not like the Rikus are going to kick him off the island if Luffy considers him a friend. Unlike Jinbe, he's probably too small of a fry for the WG to care about, and Dressrosa's almost certainly going to wind up as part of Luffy's territory when the arc is over.
Though I do find the idea of him joining Barto hilarious, especially if he winds up a Luffy Fanboy as well.
