I cried too from reading latest chapter.
Tears of boredom.
Lets get back to the action already.
I did like seeing all Doflamingo crew as they were before, but still found it boring.
Sorry.

@Sen:
Amber lead reminds me of lead for some reason. Can't quite put my finger on the reason behind it.
Maybe because lead can also be poisonous?
@Farsighted:
I've been thinking and my personal problems made me realize that Law is getting monstrous, He thinks he's fighting Dolflamingo a very monstrous man but, He's loosing himself in the process of revenge . He even said a Dolflamingo line. I also, realized that a difference between Law and Luffy is that Luffy's past doesn't define him. Law's past defines him. He got strong to take on Dolflamingo and his family. Anyways, I think that if this goes into a debate I don't think I could win one.
Pretty Sabo dying is suppose to be one of the top reason why Luffy wanted to be strong and also his close bond with Ace.
TURN DOWN FOR WHAT!!
I've been really busy over the last few days so I haven't had a chance to comment on this chapter till now…
...the flashback designs of the donquixote crew are just too awesome.
Particuarly señor.

Do you have… a heart? J/K, I understand these feels weren't for everyone.
Law's past is dramatic but it lacks the quality of Robin's or Franky's to say some. It may be in the way it was told, with to many jumps forward and backward in a very short space.
And while the flashback is not over I still dont see what the link between Corazon and Law could be. Law just decided to kill him on a whiff, which sounds borderline sociopathic if you ask me.
In the end we get why Law has a dark personality but I didnt find much reasons to care about it.
Can you see Crocodile?
I thought people are just seeing things, but zoomed in this really looks like Crocodile (unless someone faked it).
I find Doflamingos the saddest.
Why? Because he killed his father? Or maybe because he isn't CD anymore and can't do whatever he wants and get away with it?
DD din't even grow up at 40, he's still one spoiled brat.

I also see a castle-like city and someone with a giant elephant sized arm?!?! Can someone else shed some light on what that giant arm and fist is if my eyes don't deceive me.

I find it funny that almost everyone in the Dofla fam has some wierd connection to there eyes. Either they wear sunglasses at some point in their life (doffy style) or special cases like Loa G having poor sight, Diamanté and his lines leading through his eyes on his beady lil eyes on his face and even Violet a double agent in the fam having a sight related fruit. Just found it interesting. Now that I think about it Sugar even wears some cool see through eye patch over one of her eyes.

Kid Law isn't sociopathic; he's nihilistic. His entire world burned in his face, so nothing matters at all to him. The reason he decides he wants to kill Corazon is because, in his eyes, Corazon is a waste of space who deserves to die, like all the people who wronged him while he lived in Flevance. While it doesn't make much sense as to why Corazon in Law would bond, in due time, it will.

The flashback is supposed to be about Law's story with the Dofamily. Flevance would obviously not get much focus.
And Law didn't just decide to kill him randomly. Did you forget what Corazon did to him in the previous chapter?
it does look like crocodile but the cigar seems a bit off

Not only Crocodile, if you look closely you can see that in the same photo right besides him there is what appears to be some kind of afro with a crown…Maybe Ivankov and so this is the incident in which both got to know each other?
Pretty Sabo dying is suppose to be one of the top reason why Luffy wanted to be strong and also his close bond with Ace.
You're correct, but it wasn't his main reason for being strong. I guess it's just adds another way Luffy and Law are different and how they dealt with their respected hard pasts.

And Law deal with his past since he has new friends and doesn't seem to be depressive. But he also isn't going to forgive Doflamingo for what he did.

And Law deal with his past since he has new friends and doesn't seem to be depressive. But he also isn't going to forgive Doflamingo for what he did.
Law's focus for being strong was to be able to destroy Doflamingo and since He didn't include anyone from his crew on Punkhazard seems to be a example of how much he cares about his crew, and how he wanted to excluded the Strawhats from going against Dolflamingo showed that he cared about them and that this whole fight against Dolflamingo is Law's fight. I can't imagine Law to forgive Dolflamingo. When the time comes I think it'll be an example of the tv trope You'll just be like him and I predict We'll see how much he cares about his crew and the other way around.
I think that Luffy need to be strong is a mixture of his dream of being the next pirate king and the need to surpass Shanks, Sabo and Ace in strength, but that's my opinion.
All of you are wrong. Saddest Flashback isn't any of the people. The saddest has to belong to a cute animal. He's always been a soft spot for the crew. It was so sad when we found out his story after meeting him, but because of Luffy, things got better, and his dream will become true. Yes folks the saddest backstory belongs to
!
Saddest flashback has to Doflamingo's. I cry every time:sad:
We will get a full heart rending Dofla's flashback soon, which will tell us that Dofla was turned into a slave after he got demoted from CD class citizen, and he got 2 mini hoofs of soaring dragon, on his eyelids.
Ok maybe i should post it in dumb prediction thread instead.

Oh, .. you are right. Thanks. Maybe that the reason Doflamingo want Crocodile become his crew?
Why? Because he killed his father? Or maybe because he isn't CD anymore and can't do whatever he wants and get away with it?

Its kinda sarcastic but not sarcastic (what i said). What may seem stupid and greedy to us, to Dofla it is a massive loss. You gotta be in his mind to understand him. There all sorts of sadness and anger. Dofla knows Laws past but he still thinks no one else comes close to him.
I just dont like sobscaling

Second one. It's already awful to live like a scum, but when it should be the opposite and you have taste it? It sucks even more. Especially since he end getting getting chased and his mom died.

I just realize that the top executives and Law aren't working. I suppose Law have to finish his training and that the top executives are already on top of the ranking and don't do much. Which is funny since they are more in shape than the officers now.
just the last chapter Corazon was working, as Diamante implied when he asked if he got the money
Not only Crocodile, if you look closely you can see that in the same photo right besides him there is what appears to be some kind of afro with a crown…Maybe Ivankov and so this is the incident in which both got to know each other?
That's his fur coat. If Oda wanted it to be a person he would've made it slightly clearer, rather than some blurred blob.
fue sin querer queriendo
I laughed so hard to this!!! Te juro que me imaginé al mismo Chavo xD
I feel pity for Buffalo. He's just this transportation tool that gets dicked on by everybody and has been tortured into willful service since a child. Some fxcked up shxt.

Maybe I haven't seen it but is it confirmed when he got his DF?
Then your comment is invalid and they didn't use him as a transportation tool.
Gaimon's Flashback>>>>Doula's flashback.
Now. Vergo is nowhere, wondering if is doing some secret stuff for Doula.
One thing I really really hope is Cora saving Law's life without the powers of the Ope Ope, the fact that there was a way to cure the ambar lead illness and it just needed some research it's gonna make the WG look like the kings of douchebagness.
But I guess he's more likely to use the Ope Ope since doesn't even look like a doctor. But well hopefully Oda surprise us all.
That panel with the corpses of the kids is pretty dark if you think about it, that was a lil bit too much for a shonen.
still think croc tok his idea of crewmates from Doflamingo I mean seriously
senor pink vs miss merry christmas (can swim through any type of ground)
machvise vs miss valantine (just a lesser version of his fruit)
gladius vs mr. 5 (very similar DF's)
Dellinger vs Mr. 2 (flamboyant crewmate that has amazing kicks)
jora vs mr. 3 (art fanatics)
Vergo vs Mr. 1 (second in command guy who can't be cut)
Baby 5 vs miss Doublefinger (can both turn any part of their body into a weapon)
sugar vs miss golden week (both cute little girls with strange abilities)
and I feel like if I worked hard enough I could totaly find something to connect Buffalo and mr. 4 with…... but I need to get back to work and stop finding reasons to procrastinate

Yet isn't that a good thing, in the end? I know I've kept reading (and enjoying) One Piece precisely because there's more to it than just a shonen.
still think croc tok his idea of crewmates from Doflamingo I mean seriously
OR, Oda took his idea of Dofla's crewmates from the former.
And I wouldn't call Dellinger anything like "flamboyant". If you put aside the high heels, he feels more like your average bloodthirsty sicko…

I agree with you. In Dofla's twisted mind, no one's had it worse than himself, and to be honest, to add to what your saying, he might actually be right. I feel that in this flashback we will get a flashback-ception of sorts in one or two chapters where Doffy's full past is revealed through Corazon's eye. It is only after that point in the flashback that we can judge the overall tragedy of Doula's past.

I think Vergo is like the Prison Warden who doesnt come out. So the Dofla family send the one that needs discipline to him. E.g. Law
Gaimon's Flashback>>>>Doula's flashback.

Being shown with Dofla would work counter to their goal to infiltrate the Marines. I guess he's an officer at the cities marine station.

clearly I know this, I was just having fun pointing out the similarities…. wet blanket
@Seafarer33:

I'm sorry but since when is a guy wearing high heels, with short shorts and extremely exposed legs super shaved legs, that are made to look extremely feminine, not considered flamboyant

Nah, that wouldn't explain why he's not eating with the others.
He's probably out in some mission.
I have the feeling that Beepo and Jean Bart are coming…

While I agree with most of these parallels, there are a few things I'd like to point out. While Machvise's attack names seem to imply he has the ton ton fruit, he more likely has the tanuki or flying squirrel fruit. You can see he has a tail in the chapter when he gang bangs Franky with the other officers and in a panel in Law's flashback. Diamante, Pica, and Trebol seem to be unique characters in the whole scenario. I can't really point out the flaws in your other parallels. Because, from the looks of it, they're spot on.
EDIT: On other matters, I have a question: what is Oda's problem with killing characters outside of flashbacks? I don't understand why the man is willing to show the corpses of children in the past, but can't manage to kill the G-5 marines, who are fodder for god sake, and Pell, a shallow arc character. I'm not asking for death left and right as that wouldn't go in line with the tone of Oda's story, but I do ask for occasional death. Is that too much to ask, Oda?

Machvise has already been called a "Super Weight Human" by Law.

As I already said, he has a tail. Even though Law's words are essentially words to us from Oda himself, what other reason would Oda bother to give Machvise a tail? Go to read 762 again and look at Machvise's posterior region, then you'll see what I mean.http://www.mangapanda.com/one-piece/762/10

Masira also has a tail, but that's only because he's that weird.
It could be just a decorative thing that is part of his outfit, like Lao G's bunny hat.

Mistake. Happened once, but was fixed in the volume release.

I still bet the tail has something to do with a devil fruit, but I suppose I can't be sure. We'll see in the succeeding volumes I suppose.
If he's a Zoan there is nothing wrong with his tail disappearing.
I find random number printed on wall building … 19, 25, 36, 43, and 56 ... The last number (56) bigger than the other ... Time for fun-prediction .... Luffy's colosseum number 0556, my prediction is Luffy next bounty :
01. 30.000
02. 100.000
03. 300.000
04. 400.000
05. 560.000

He's pretty flamboyant tough. He squeals like a girl and holds very exaggerated hand gestures. It's right there when he first properly appears!
! Dem legs….
