Remember how Enel's Priests were punished by Cloud Drifting at the end of Skypiea?
I think Urouge might have come across one of them, probably Ohm, when he was on that sky island after meeting Kaidou. He could recruit him and find out through him about the events on Skypiea.
What if…
Linlin never saved Kaidou by giving him the Uo Uo fruit and keeps it for herself, perhaps feeding it to Katakuri instead? Kaidou dies on God Valley, the Beast Pirates never existed. Linlin and her Big Mam Pirates invade Wano after Linlin learns whatever it is that Kaidou knows about the place that prompted him to invade it in the first place.
Neko hadn't returned to Wano yet.
He didn't have that look his entire flashback. It's something he picked up during the 10 years he was a warlord that we don't know much about. WHich is also when he got his distinctive scar.
Which is why we assume he's getting a secondary more personal flashback related to Wano at some point.
Also, we know Ace was in Wano and they fought at some point, so its not a huge stretch to think maybe they did so there.
Of course, its really hard to see how any of that would actually tie into the current story arc and its so seperate it may need to be held until after Kaidou or something.
He's always been seen wearing the Japanese clothes except for when he was a soldier in service of Neptune, tho.

Usually you get a line that is somewhat equally divided when the storytelling becomes inconsistent.
You get people who defend the writing and people who attack it, both sides with its fair share of fools.

There's still a minority who liked the episode, proclaiming it as the best episode of the season (which doesn't say much). Hell I've read a post by some psychology student who used his knowledge to write a long analysis of Dany's character to prove that what happened to her made sense (as if D&D had anything of that sort in mind, those two hacks probably thought it would be cool if Dany suddenly started acting like an actual dragon herself - which is why she screamed like maniac)

I thought Varys was one of the last smart characters left. He saw what nobody else saw, and then he brought his own demise by talking openly about treason to Tyrion (who then betrayed his friend) and Jon. Might as well have told Dany directly to be careful because he's planning on poisoning her food. Not to mention that he actually thought Jon would be a good leader.
Jaimie and Cersei… what was the point of him sleeping with Brienne? Also why did Cersei even think that the Red Keep won't fall? There wasn't even a single crossbow placed to protect it. ALL of them were placed on top of the outer walls of the city, all Dany had to do was bypass them by flying high into the sky then drop down in the middle of the city where they will never reach her. Finally the lame death Cersei and Jaimie got. Crushed by debris. Uhh and what was that with the duel between him and Euron?
I don't mind Dany going nuts... but she did nothing throughout the whole episode except for burning the entire city. Why not go for the one actually responsible for all that, Cersei?
Didn't care for Cleganebowl. Atleast he killed Qyburn quickly (why did he even stay with Cersei? She can't do anything for him at this point, he could just bail on her and that's it)
