I'm saying, whatever evolutionary process the minks went through to evolve, could be compared to chopper eating the df. Minks evolved over time, while chopper evolved the instant he ate the df. No, chopper isn't literally a mink because he wasn't born in the tribe, duh, but he's as close to a mink as one can get without actually being one.

Chopper is a human/ reindeer hybrid, so you're wrong saying he's just a reindeer, end of story.

Saying chopper can't be anything more the a reindeer is ridiculous. Df obviously change a person's DNA. Their bodies transform. Unless you're just fine with magic being your explanation, and aren't willing to dive any deeper.

The changes to chopper's body ,due to the effects of the df, could have changed his DNA to closely resemble the mink' s DNA.

DF powers aren't hereditary, so he's still just a reindeer. A reindeer using a DF to act like human and can turn partially or fully into a humanoid form.
