      ^Fun fact about Togashi being lazy; apparently he has had back-pains since Yu Yu Hakusho's publication.

      (I hope this manga gets scanlated)

      @Monkey King, I'm not quite sure what you mean by "HxH is both great and terrible" because many lone artists seem to have their indulgent tendencies, where they lose sight of what the audience cares about. Most art isn't perfect anyway, but I'm curious what dramatically bad flaws in HxH you see.

      @Cyclone_Baroness:

      I have been super bored with this arc so far. I'm not even fully reading all the dialogue anymore lol.

      You know what you're absolutely right, I just don't pay attention to Hunter x Hunter at all and I'm super bored.

      @Robby:

      Or… he could have actually ended it at it's organic stopping point given the "health problems", and just done a new project occasionally when he felt up to it.

      Well, he is doing kinda that. Hunter X Hunter 2011 ended at the world tree, and it's fine if people want to feel like they need a series to be wrapped up to be good. I wouldn't exactly call it the perfect, or most organic ending, but Gon finds his dad. Togashi clearly has a lot of ideas in the Hunter X Hunter universe that he wants to put out there, so I don't really see anything wrong with him continuing the series at the current projected rate of one volume per year. I mean, Vagabond isn't a bad manga just because Inoue Takehiko will probably never touch it again :sad:

      I don't really think Steel Ball Run should have had stands out of nowhere and become the seventh part of Jojo, but clearly Araki has way more ideas to put out, and I'm just gonna let him put them out.

      @Robby:

      That would make sense but….

      Nope, he pretty clearly takes year long breaks and then works for a couple weeks and starts half assing it. and that's what burns him out.

      It's why we give him so much shit about the breaks, but the Berserk author gets a pass. You can tell Muira works on the art for his chapters for 6 weeks and it takes two days per page and just takes the time time it takes, while Togashi is just lazy and will reward us with storyboards on week two..

      Doesn't Togashi have back pains? I'd actually like to believe that Togashi is a lazy asshole who plays Dragon Quest constantly, it's a funny meme, but given his author comments and the shonen jump statements, I feel like there's at least some truth to health issues.

      @Robby:

      That's the thing though. Scribbles ALREADY on week 2 mean

      -he's not using assistants as much as the last two runs
      -he's already running behind a little and wearing down, and the next break is going to be sooner than later.

      That said, I'm not going to complain about this level of sketchniness. It's sketchy, rather than the actual half assed unfinished scribbling he's presented in the past.

      That's a scary thought. It seems the only page that was really sketchy is the one where the horse head pops up at her. Otherwise the rest of the pages seem acceptable. I'm gonna cross my fingers and say that was a stylistic choice. But really, would Togashi really just take a break for a whole year and jump right back into such a hectic mangaka schedule? I would think the smart move would be to do a volume over the course of a year, unless he's wheeled into the hospital every year.

      @KageKageKing:

      I know, but did she appeared before?

      Yes, around when Tse talks to Benjamin, if I remember that right. She and her team disclosed her connections to the prince while taking the Hunter Exam so they would be let on the boat while the other princes' bodyguards failed Kurapika's lie detector or didn't show up.

      Man, one of them looked like a tree of penises.

      And who is Theta again?

      The girl bodyguard.

      Not really all that much happened in this chapter besides setup. It is still delicious set up, where Togashi is pilling problem after problem on top of one another. Now the 4th Prince might be learning nen, and Theta will have to teach him. Could lead to some great scenes. I guess Halkenburg's bodyguards are all dead, for some unexplained reason.

      I hope Theta gets to be around more. I was interested in her in that one panel she showed up. I wonders what it would take to work for a madman like Tse. It seems Tse's bodyguards are well aware of his psycho killer shtick.

      SnS seems like such a commercial sellout series that I can't imagine the series just deciding that it needs to end. I'd think that it would try to last as long as possible before it gets cancelled.

      @Nekketsu the other day, I was feeling a little bit moe about Erina. I understand, somewhat, how you feel about Erina and what's there to appreciate about her character arc, but I think the conflict is that the arc is so cliched that it doesn't feel like a positive point, even if was 'earned'.

      @baby-boo:

      I don't know what's happening again.

      Reading a monthly manga is a pain.

      Yeah, I always get thrown off when one chapter starts off in a totally new location. I haven't followed this manga since Armin "died". Now this manga is going on about Eldian genocide and securing freedom for their people or something. And here I though Mikasa was "oriental"!
