@DHL:
Doflamingo doesn't heal them.
It's "simple first aid". He's basically put a bandaid on it. It's not regeneration or restoration. Just enough so that he won't die.
If it would be only "just enough he wont die" then guy would not be able to tank Kong and Rhino attacks and continue to fight like 20 minutes with Luffy going all out.
Its not regeneration but it works pretty damn great if guy that should be on death doorstep is still capable of fighting like Doflamingo.
@desa:
Well the fights continue to be a let down for this arc. I was looking forward to this fight.
Not a fan of awakening or the way it looks with Dofla. I prefer him with his acrobatic moves rather than this white random mass of strings.
Champion is there. Time for a second beat down from Sabo I guess. Luffy really was a dick to anyone for moving that fight.
Rick's speech was meh. But the factory remind me that maybe they could hide in the coliseum.
Doily probably isn't down yet since birdcage is still around.
Too bad that you are not enjoying last bits of this arc..
As for your problem with Awakening being shown this chapter - Oda also prefers Doflamingos acrobatics and smaller scale fighting as we gotten awakening and then he skipped 20minutes of it. It was just showing us through Doflamingo that there is higher stage of mastering devil fruit users ability.
Oda didnt give it a lot of attention and next week its very likely we will be back to close combat between Luffy and Mingo as both of them should be pretty close to passing out.
Most of time using awakening was skipped as main reason being Doffy using it to keep Luffy away, then we jumped back into the action when fight gotten back to being direct.
Its because that big scale stuff like buildings turning into strings are not "flesh" of the fight that we will possibly get to see again next week.
Luffy possibly overused haki as its fuel of his Gear 4th that was going for pretty long time if you ask me and he will most likely get to suffer in some way consequences of using Gear 4th for long time.
