One day in the future, Naruto and Sasuke's mixed blood will create a demonic hellspawn with the powers of the Sage and the mind of your average Uchiha. That is to say, batshit insane and inclined to conquer/destroy the world. Said hellspawn will conquer the world by spreading love cancer to everyone until they're all in a personality cult worshiping the perfection of the Uchihas.

Also, that last page is good for shock value, but really, there's symbolism and ten there's hammering nails directly into people's brains. This goes beyond even that.

And yeah. It is surreal. I started watching Naruto in 2004, started reading it shortly after…..been like 10 years now.....every week, Tue-Thur was Naruto, Bleach & One Piece, then it'll be down to 2, and i expect Bleach will be done by next year and OP will remain, for many more years, getting better and better with time until that finally ends which'll be a dark day.

700 - will probably be some form of epilogue or everyone celebrating their victory -

they lost their arms. That's literally what happened, it's not imagery in any way, it's physically the result of their clash. Meanwhile, Sasuke explains his whole character's relation to Naruto with 0% subtlety. Just flat-out stating exactly how he feels, in case there was any confusion.
so yeah, imagery implies there is an image standing for something (or is that symbolism) but I don't see anything that goes deeper than face value here. Especially because Sasuke won't shut up about his feelings.

Connected blood! And it seems like Broken/Cut arm is some kind of expression about getting friendship back, but to confirm that we need somebody that understand Japanese and those kind of expressions.

The trail of blood from each severed arms actually makes it seem like they're holding hands, like that image (I think it was at the end of part I) where they grab their fingers or something like that.
I thought that was pretty clear, honestly.
ED: Also, that image is pretty stupid the moment we KNOW the movie will be a canon epilogue to the manga and both Naruto and Sasuke have their arms in there, so. . .yeah. I don't think they'll have to live with a severed arms much longer.

I liked the last page, at least something that surprised me. Although even that I kinda did see comng, the way they were lying there and none of the panels showed their whole bodies. Especially after such a big explosion, the injuries had to be really visible.

I think it's supposed to represent their intertwined pain/hurt, that Naruto mentioned in the chapter is the deepest reason behind their friendship. Kind of silly, though.

I am disappointed in the fact that I feel like I have seen this exact fight at least 3 times already. Chidori Rasengan Clash…clash... Only this time, due to the end of the manga, the outcome changed a bit.

I am disappointed in the fact that I feel like I have seen this exact fight at least 3 times already. Chidori Rasengan Clash…clash... Only this time, due to the end of the manga, the outcome changed a bit.
I mean I guess it was the exact same fight in that we have seen Naruto and Sasuke fight 3 times, but the only fight that you could even consider similar to this one is the battle at the end of part 1. Seriously, if all you took from these 5 chapters is " ugh Chidori Rasengan Clash again!" then idk what to tell you. There was a ton more going on.

Well, final fight is done. Time for the last chapters. And then the movie. Which we all have to watch 'cause I doubt Kishi can cover all dem bases in two chapters, so the movie is the real epilogue of the manga.
I swear if Sasuje or Naruto had been a girl they would have kissed right there at the end. Then again those two already had their first kiss together so~ :P
