Does one person ever get tired of winning?
I don't think so, but I'm never been closer than now.

Naruto for 2005, Nana for 2006 or vice versa.
this were around Skypeia arc and Oda had couple of backlash in Japan due to his support to Shimabukuro sex scandal and Oda praising Korean football team at world cup (iirc). Also, Oda critical comments in WSJ toward Japan's Prime Minister Koizumi Junichiro political stuffs.also during both year, Naruto and Nana became really big in and outside of japan.
Wrong,
2005 was Nana, 2006 was Death Note. Both years One Piece got in 3rd place behind Nodame Cantabile.
I dont know where you took the backlash during skypiea anime being the reason for the decline. In fact the backlash was more big talk but no content, by that I mean that the anime and the manga were still selling and being watched, pretty good with no significant change from
The past. In fact it was a skypiea manga volume that was the pre-Marineford best sold volume.
In its first years the top series were Samurai X, GTO, Detective Conan, Hajime no Ippo and stuff like that. I dont remember in detail, but one of those series was the best selling at those years.
LOL … MAGA
Two Mandates, Two Scoops, Two Supreme Justices.
Dunno, Moria was discarded pretty quickly.
But I hope you're right. Marco is one of my fav characters and I hope we get to see him kicking ass with his full powers. His fight with Kizaru got cut too short.
He wasn't. He was defeated at Thriller Bark, but he appeared in Marineford, then he escaped Doflamingo Assassination plan, and he reported Kidd, Hawkins and Apoo alliance. He obviously still around and this is the perfect arc for his appearence.
At least that "Rocks"-Group wasn't sexistic. With Bukkin and Linlin (and maybe even Shakky) they had quite a lot of women in their Crew. And I'm more and more interested in this vanished leader/captain tbh.
A group is sexistic if it doesn't get a quota of girls? LOL.
Also only Linlin is confirmed, the other ones are huge speculations.
Mama and kaidou is expected to be in that same pirates group. If WB was there too, just how freaking OP was this pirates? Just how freaking OP was Garp for taking down the captain?
Why are people assuming that Garp took the Captain? It was never said not even implied. What we have is that Garp is the hero of the marines because of something to do with Big Mom, Kaido and Rox/Rocks. And second we have that "they" lost their captain.
You know who also got the title of hero? Coby! For what, the Rocky Port incident, where the only thing he did was defend the citizens. So … giving that the Rox/Rocks pirates(?) are looking up to be some mega legendary group of pirates, just defending the citizens from their attacks seem rather a huge achievement to get the name "Hero of the Marines".
@Fire Fist:
What's even more interesting is that Dragon was not among the choices. At the last Reverie, that's all anyone was talking about. Either Imu doesn't perceive him as a threat, even as a D, or actually wants his revolution to succeed as a means to eliminate other WG countries.
It wasn't in the last, it was one way in the past, when Vivi was still a kid.
Don't these dumb stinky investors and such realise that breaks make people want a product more, like how season premiers get huge numbers. Non stop episodes with bad pacing give people fatigue. One piece is so big it probably doesn't even need TV. I bet a patreon type website could get $100,000's a month to produce the anime but better. Or if the anime wasn't so stretched out they could air multiple episodes in cinemas. But those would be very scary things for a company to try, but its what i expect some shows to do in the future as tv becomes more outdated. Or i guess like a netflix contract or something
And that is why every single new season gets fewer and fewer audiences. Why less than a continuation of a series during that same time.
Just because you have the beginning of the season bringing a ton of people it doesn't mean that breaks make people want a product more. Also the point isn't "making people want a product more" but "making more people want a product". And avoid the opposite "making less people want a product".
Patreon website gets 100k per month? Are you saying that for every month One Piece would get easily around 1000 people donating 100$ or 10k people donating 10$ or something like that? I really doubt about that. Don't confuse one time donation, and regular ones.
And what can you do with 100k per month? A single episode of Toei Animation cost that much and is on the lower side of episode costs, that mean is spends around 400k per month. Are you saying that they with 4 times less can do better?
Airing multiple episodes in Cinemas? 6 episodes would be a 2 hour session. Even if you remove the streching and filler from One Piece, you get around 360 episodes, that means you would need 60 "movies" and counting, what other franchise anywhere did you see that got 60 movies in the cinema?
I'm more of the opinion that the Hollow Throne should have been hinted at sooner than during the Reverie Arc.
The Gorosei!?
And The "Reverie" is an hint in itself. The throne is just an object showing a system structure. You could have everything that we are having right now without the need of the Throne at all.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
I wonder what the other 2 doors lead to.
Entrance to the Redline that every person has to take to go to the New world from the Paradise, and the Entrance to the New World after getting the permission and getting a new Ship! (And the opposite when going from New World to Paradise).
This was already said, that they were highly guarded Entrances and the image make it obvious that it only can be them.
in this old video about the last reverie though ,
around 34 seconds it shows there were only around 20 ppl max in a much smaller table during the last reverie, yet the table is much bigger this time round and have up to 50 ppl?
The reverie are 7 days of multiple meetings not all are in that room with all the kings.
