Jesus, it's been a while since I visited the forums. Pretty hyped for Wano, I just have to read people's discussion of Luffy's Katakuri fight, sooo…

    • RE: Chapter 784 : Gear Fourth

Gear 4 looks great, what are people hating about? I love the idea of rubber cannons, and even the punch changing directions thanks to air makes sense - can't wait to see an explanation next chapter as to why Luffy isn't losing any air etc. What did you guys want? Another normal Luffy, but somehow looking cool?

Personally, I think he can use G4 only thanks to haki - he's making his body durable enough to control his fruit under such extreme pressure and he'd burst without it.

    • RE: Dragonball Discussion

Wow, I'm reading the movies plot and pretty much it seems like it's ever worse than Battle of Gods. And that was VERY bad. Toriyama just forgot about everything he created in the series and it just hurts to watch it all. This movie seems more like his personal "I liked this character the most, bring him back" thing than an actual cash grab.

    • RE: Opening 18: "Hard Knock Days"

Well, that must've been one of the worst OP openings I've seen. Song was awfully bland and the animation was, well, Toei quality - and I'm shocked, since usually OP openings have some great quality in them. Only part I liked was the dynamic scene showing everyone's attacks.

I have no idea what happened to this series, I'm watching the One Pace version and while it's enjoyable, it's clear as day Toei is putting as little money as possible. Probably that's why this opening looks the way it does - they had to do another one, but since they didn't know how long Dressrosa is going to last, they wanted to play it safe, put less money into the animation, so that when this arc ends and they have to put out a new opening - they still don't lose as much.

    • RE: SQUARE ENIX - Single Player RPGs are dead?

ITT people who are guys know that it's true and girls get angry, because something about feminism I guess.

We had FFX-2, now it's time for Final Dude-tasy XV - I'm all in for it, I don't care for what genitalia they've got, as long as it's a good game (and it's been a long time since we had a good FF game).

I kinda understand why you might've had some problems reading Terry's books - the first few are kinda hard, since he was looking for his style etc. If you really wanna get into it - try reading the Death series of books: Mort, Reaper Man, Soul Music, Hogfather, Thief of Time. Trust me, you'll love'em after the first one.

    • RE: Terry Pratchett dies at 66 years old

I read every Pratchett book he ever wrote. A few times each. I have every one of his books on a separate shelf in polish and english. I was re-reading them on my Kindle for the last few months.

Pratchett was the biggest influence in my life. Harry Potter hot me interested in books, but Terry made me stay. It's just… so shocking to hear we'll never ger Raising Taxes, I'll never see another Granny Weatherwax story, that this is the end, that Death himself died today...

I cried a lot in the last few hours. My friends who write books and one who was the official translator of Pratchett's books wrote a lot of fun trivia, just how funny and unreal this guy was when you met him. We lost one of the greatest if not the greatest writer that lived. I'm not interested if your opinion differs, but I can clearly see how many people were influenced by his books and this shows more than anything that sometimes you can get quality and quantity together.

Also, a little Granny Weatherwax fan art I did today, as a thank you for Terry, since Carpe Jugulum is as close to being called my favourite Pratchett book as possible:
