@omy785:
Oda sucks at drawing feet anyway…just have a look at Nami's 2 pages later...
What feet are you talking about? I was so focused on her luscious thighs and chest that I couldn’t see anything else
!
Nah, seriously, I noticed that
@deacon_blue:
Also it seems pretty clear that he's not referring to Momo as a samurai. "Three samurai as well as Momonosuke"… as opposed to four samurai including him. Four in total meaning four people, three of which are samurai. He even makes it extra clear at the end dude.
OK, I quoted this from a site which talks particularly about this issue:
! > How to Add, Subtract, Multiply, and Divide with Units
Anything that can be counted is a unit. Because you can count units, this means that you can apply the Big Four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) to them.
Add and subtract units
Adding and subtracting units isn’t very different from adding and subtracting numbers. Just remember that you can only add or subtract when the units are the same. For example,
3 chairs + 2 chairs = 5 chairs
4 oranges – 1 orange = 3 oranges
What happens when you try to add or subtract different units? Here’s an example:
3 chairs + 2 tables = ?
The only way you can complete this addition is to make the units the same:
3 pieces of furniture + 2 pieces of furniture = 5 pieces of furniture
@Kaptayn:
Interesting indeed.
I did some research and here's what I found (-resumed)
"Dans la tradition, un fils de samouraï était soumis à une discipline très stricte."
However, were kids considered as samurai back then (or was it a title that you earned when growing up ?) ? I didn't find anything clarifying that on the french wiki or the english one.
I found this though :
"Small Samurai began practicing the basics of fencing with wooden swords at the age of 3, being given a real weapon, a mamorigatana sword for self-defence, between the ages of 5 and 7."

Could anyone enlighten us ?
That was some great work over there, kaptayn. If we want more infomation about this, we need to research books that are made specifically about the lives of samurai. Wikipedia won't tell us everything there is to know about a subject or topic.
@Kaptayn:
Thing is, on that panel that you posted while responding to Maju :
! http://img.bato.to/comics/2014/09/16/o/read5417eaddbb395/img000008.png
Momo was referred to as "child of wa no kuni", not as "(young) samurai" or anything.
Got me confused there.
Yes, I deliberately posted that. We must take that as well into our consideration. Momo is being referred to as 'child of wa no kuni'. The author chose that for some reason.
@Kaizoku_Ou:
Btw is Kishido's alright? :ninja:
@Kaptayn:
Probably not…
Though as a Sanji fan, I find that all this Sanji-teasing is really cool and I can't wait to see what happened to him.
It reminds me of when Ace died. I shed some tears back when he died:sad: What Kishido should understand is that what plagues Sanji must be only a temporary, reversible situation. Too bad, he's probably not here reading this.
