I think they used a filter, because the HQ versions of volumes 80 and 81 are not the same.

sorry, unfortunately this was almost 3 years ago now. don't recall their name (he was someone random who offered to help on batoto).

The older english volumes, the raws were gathered using screenshots, they weren't ripped from the reader, hence the quality looks bad. Ever since volume 68, we've had one person or another (mostly Redon) posting the raws here for use so they've looked a little better.

I had one person try to run our volumes through filters to make them look better. Although they did, it was a lot of tedious work so he ended up giving up on it after the 1st chapter.

i imagine the italians either ripped the volumes properly from the reader or they have someone who's able to filter the images properly.

Yes, unfortunately. The colour volumes have been on the shelf for too long and I want to get them over with so they don't keep stacking up with more releases.

They're being worked on on the side. We're prioritizing colour volumes for now since there's no absolute need for b/w chapters with Jaimini's around.
