@Riquelme:
I really don't want to read through a thread and skip post.
Yeah i agree on this.
I find myself skipping posts because they're just arguements between people on who should be able to cut what.
If it's something about the fight, the powers, the possibilities, I'll sure as hell read it and even though i don't reply i will have acknowledged it.

Same way he was "flying", I guess he stacked a couple of leg recoils and when he "liberates" one of these recoils, Luffy let's out a powerful kick that works like geppou. Which would work into my guess that Luffy can't eternaly fly like Sanji cause he has a limited amount of geppou kicks in store before re-stacking? I don't know. I've always been terrible at guessing how powers work.
It's basically like the King Kong gun attack, except through the feet shooting out like the gun. It's probably not as powerful as the king kong gun, but it kicks the hard enough to be able to use "Geppou".
Sanji's kicks are already strong enough to be able to it as it is his speciality.

From what I have seen so far of gear 4 there must be a weakness, we the readers realize that one such weakness is Luffy not able to change direction easily which Doffy already noticed but that didn't work as Luffy proven this chapter but I believe in the next chapter Doffy will figure out a way to counter.
Yes! I pointed this out. Even though Luffy's speed is still there, he doesn't have quick body movements as he's quite bulky and probably can't turn and redirect himself for attack.
That's where the defensive part comes in. Luffy can now afford to be less worried about being tossed around. I thought it was pretty obvious after Doflamingo kept smashing Luffy constantly with his kicks. But now it's not going to be the case anymore.
One thing I can say for sure is that if Doffy figure out a way to get around gear 4 Luffy will need to evolve in this fight to make up for that weakness,
Luffy bounced off a kick. I've mentioned it a lot, but I really don't think Doflamingo has been trying much at all against Luffy.
He's been using brute force and his martial arts sort of style to combat against Luffy. He's hardly been reliable on his fruit.
Gear 4 is now a reason for Doflamingo to get serious. Actually taking the fight seriously by using his fruit and really showcasing what those strings can do in a fight.
if the weakness is one that is related to time limit I can see Doffy getting so injured after gear 4 assault that Luffy will still be able to match him in the other two gears.
Doflamingo has already had his insides destroyed and he's only applying "mere first aid" so it's not really healing him, just leaving him in a state in which his body can function until he can properly sit down and mend it.
Gear second/third would bring him back to his original state and still get a bad beatdown from Doffy. It will only work in his favour.
