RE: Chapter 847 - Luffy and Big Mom
Nice chapter again. I hope this arc will be long with Big Mom going down at the end. Having all the weirdness contained in one arc would be nice.

RE: Chapter 840: "Iron Mask"
So did they try to modify Sanji as well, but failed, or was he just regular to begin with?

RE: Fairy Tail Series IV Discussion
I wonder what made Mashima give her this broken ability with no limits to begin with. It has made a total joke of her character since she'll never be able to have proper fight. She sucks physically & she's always in these contrived predicaments where she's somehow unable to fight. She exists as nothing more than a plot device. This is what happens when you create an overpowered/unbeatable character. Also, can't she just shrink the wounds she got from Dimaria?
It's probably what will happen, but it's bullshit anyway. She knows Brandish can do this (or should at least) and should've just killed her for good.

RE: My Hero Academia - Gomu Gomu no Gentle Fist
Nice chapter. I hope they start turning on each other as the competition dwindles.

RE: Bleach Discussion █: Soul Society, but not!
@Bartholemew:
Didn't read Bleach aside from a few chapters, but from what I've heard Bleach actually was good for quite a long time. However, at some point it became a clusterfuck then.
That's how I remember it as well. But you can never know, as a kid you tend to pay attention to the fights a lot more than the actual story.

RE: Bleach Discussion █: Soul Society, but not!
That moment when you're unsure if it has ended or not.. Enjoyed Bleach a lot until post Aizen, I don't even remember if the story was any good up until then, but the fights were great. Good memories from back then, thanks Kubo.

RE: Game of Thrones (tv show thread)
Awesome finale, but the Lannisters just haven't felt threatening since Joffrey died, and right now it feels like anyone can just walk in and take the throne for themselves. I wish they would showcase King's Landing as a bit more of a threat, if the Iron Throne is going to be contested next season.

RE: Game of Thrones (tv show thread)
I used to hate Melisandre and the way she manipulated Stannis (and you know, some of the horrible stuff she did). But they are basically the perfect literal representation of the seductiveness of religion and magic.
Yep they definitely fit those themes, I just dislike their smugness. It was nice seeing Melisandre questioning her beliefs after Jon's death.
