I asked a simple question and I see myself writing essays now.
@Soul_Bassist23:
Exactly, PREDICT. It's not some concrete proof. It's MY prediction. You seem to have a huge problem with this, making a mountain out of a molehill.
Problem, no I don't have any problem with what you or any other member in here predicts, it just seems absurd to me that Luffy needs to go through two to three more arcs in order to fight an Admiral, a character that is weaker than a Yonkou by a good margin, so I asked myself how long till his able to fight a Yonkou then.
Dude, YOU ARE THE ONE WHO ASKED ME ABOUT EMPERORS. I said nothing of Yonkous initially, all I said was that it was going to take a few arcs until Luffy can fight an Admiral evenly. You brought up and asked me how long it was going to take for him to defeat a Yonkou, and I answered GIVING MY OPINION. If you can't follow what you even asked then stop right now.
This is the same guy that would have died the three previous times he met an Admiral. Aokiji could've finished him when they first met before the start of Water 7. Kizaru would've put Luffy to death for punching a CD back in S.A., and Akainu would've impaled him with magma during the war; any one of three could've killed him then. And guess what, he is still outclassed by them. You can argue that he isn't all you want, but until I see Luffy truly have a LEGIT one on one with an Admiral, I will hold my belief that he is below them in terms of power.
Hey I'm just applying your logic, since it will take around two to three arcs for Luffy to fight an Admiral, a character weaker than an Emperor then I asked myself how long till Luffy can match a Yonkou, is really simple.
And now you're spitting crap. Each one of those encounters showed Luffy that he wasn't ready for the big guns yet. He fought Aokiji, he realized he needed to get more powerful since stronger dudes will keep showing up, he came up with G2 and G3, He went through Kizaru and Akainu in less than 2 weeks, he end up taking a two years break because he realized that he and his crew weren't ready to take in the New World and according to you he's still being outclassed by them, but hey is your opinion so like a politician I respect it.
10 years is plausible given the track record of the series, 50 is not.
Why not? One piece is very profitable and I think we all know that If a bag of crap can make a person/company reach they will try to prolong it as much as possible
Neither do I. Why do you want a set number of arcs or amount of time so bad? I already gave you my opinion on this matter already.
You think Luffy will be able to defeat Kaido or Big Mom in, what, the next arc? When he hasn't even shown he can spar evenly with an Admiral? You can believe that if you want, I guess. I don't. Would Luffy defeat Shanks right now? If not how about the next arc? Would he be able to take him on and defeat him? If not, then surely the next arc, right? So that's three arcs right there.
And if it does take six arcs, so what?
Go back and check my posts, I never said Luffy needs X period of time If he wants to defeat x character. I asked you the question because of your opinion on the time period which seems absurd to me, but I already said that.
DUDE, YOU ARE THE ONE WHO WANTS A PREDICTION SO BAD! A prediction is a unique to the individual, why don't you understand this?
This is the Internet and I don't posses one of those scouters that's why I cannot make such a unique and awesome prediction and can't understand yours either.
LOL and that's you definition of "Handling an Admiral"? That's not "handling" AT ALL lmao
So what's handling to you? To me is no getting your ass kick in a three seconds flat, which means putting up a fight but to you this might mean something else, so I apologize.
So you're just going to ignore what Luffy himself said about his level of Haki? His Haki is not on par with an Admiral yet. An Admiral wouldn't even let Hody get that close to them for him to bite them.
I'm not ignoring shit, I'm just seen things how they are, Luffy said this two arcs ago, he have fought 4 times after Fishman Island and in each one of those times Armament Haki - Hardening have been used, so to my knowledge and to how Oda develops his characters Luffy's Armament Haki should be stronger than what it was in Fishman Island but according to you this phrase that Luffy said back in 2011 still holds his ground in your brain.
Yeah, and Hody got right back up with a little help. Let's see Hody get up from a Haki imbued Magma fist from Akainu then we'll talk. Or if Hody gets up from going up against any other Admiral. Fugitora would probably, without lifting a finger, just keep Hodi suppressed to the ground coughing up blood, while he himself is eating ramen.
Little help = Drugs that completely gets you riled up and doesn't make you feel any pain. Bonny will just turn Hody into a child. Law will cut him in half. Moria will make him vanish. I'm definitely learning your logic.
Congrats, you have little to no knowledge of how to build up a character in a story, or more specifically in a shonen manga. Story development also escapes you too apparently.
My question is, did the battle experience help Luffy's opponents yes or no, is pretty simple, you don't have to try to sound smart and bring an award to the table but Oh well.
I don't get what you are trying to point out here, you just agreed with my main point indirectly. The New World is not easy peasy, and the Strawhats are not ready to take on a Yonkou and their crew yet, the top three are not even ready to fight evenly with Admirals either. But like I said you think they are, and that's fine, and again, I think otherwise.
I think "they are", I never said Luffy, Zoro and Sanji can take on an Admiral right now and If I did please bring me the post and Didn't that little text have something that looked an awful like like this (Agree)?
Luffy is the only one I'm discussing here and Oda already made a point about Zoro and also made a shinning one about Sanji.
I'm saying between now and when they face a Yonkou and their crew, they have to develop a lot more to pose a physical threat to them, enough so that they could install themselves as a Yonkou crew. I don't think you understand, once Luffy becomes a Yonkou he will be virtually untouchable by the Marines, because Zoro and Sanji will be able to fight Admirals evenly and maybe even beat them. THAT is what it means to be a Yonkou, that is what they are striving for right now, and to get there will take some more time.
And Sanji is badass, I think he probably just kicked back some cannonballs towards Big Mom's ship until the Sunny flew out of its range.
But the Yonkous are right behind their ass right now, so will they get time to develop themselves in order to oppose a threat to them u any other pirates who tracks them down after this incident, don't know only six more arcs can tell, I hope an Admiral doesn't show the next arc because Damn they'll be fucked.
Ahh that's cute!
I don't get what you're saying, on one hand you want the New World to be this place so devastating making the Strawhats run for cover, and then on the other hand you think they can take on Admirals evenly, you even say you're assuming they can take on Yonkous because you say "we're seeing how those guys are messing things up for the big guns, so they better be strong enough to stand against them."
And if you hated using it, then don't use it. How is that my fault for responding back?
First of able the New World is no ruled by the Marines, it is ruled by Pirates and second of able Yonkous don't go out hunting pirates they sent a subordinate, so the Strawhats fleeing a battle because Law sees it as too risky or they are heavy out numbered is what I meant by that statement, is what I meant by real sense of danger.
And take it easy, I ain't blaming anybody for my use of that 'line' but If the hat fits you wear it.
My bad I meant to say Fugitora would have to deal with the debris hitting citizens. Suppressing Zoro into the ground was the safest action he could have taken given they were in a crowded area full of innocent people.
And that's all we've seen Fugitora do so far, so we have to work with what we're given.
So he posses a gravity fruit and he can pull meteors out of space but he's better at throwing things then at cutting and weighting things but that's the only thing that we have seen him do, so he still an unknown. It makes total sense.
PS: Are you screaming when you write in uppercase letters?
