In my opinion, we won't see Luffy fight a Yonkou as equals for another 2-3 years. It might even be longer than that. Luffy is nowhere near Yonkou level yet. He's not scared of them or anything, it's just he still has to develop more to pose a major threat to them and the upper echelons of the Marines.
I think after Dressrosa, we'll see the fabled Wano-kuni, then we might see Luffy crash with major already established New World Pirates. We could possibly see Luffy visit some countries who have their representatives fighting in this very arc in the Corrida Colosseum. We could see Captain Kid seriously challenge Luffy as they both ascend to the top. There's Jewelry Bonney on the run too and stuff. Point being: there are a lot of different directions Oda can go to develop Luffy before he can handle Admirals and then challenge the Yonkou, and this process could take a few arcs, taking up years.
Having said that, he could grow by leaps and bounds a lot sooner than we expect too, I just personally believe that won't happen…and I hope it doesn't, I would love to see the One Piece universe fleshed out and enjoy the journey.

All of strawhats will shine soon enough. Before taking on Yonko crew in any way we have to be sort of sure that they can take on at least some strong commanders of theirs. We have to have a bit more confidence in them that we have at the moment- to enjoy story more instead of worrying that they will get trashed by Yonko subordinates(yes for all Sanji is weak and could not break door people). They have to be ready and Oda is building up some nice show off already in this arc.
I think that Luffy is around as strong as Marco/ Doflamingo right now, Zoro is somewhere around strong Vice Admirals like Onigumo(I want Zoro to fight Onigumo.. like real bad. Spider Zoan Vice Admiral had been given task of transporting Ace from Impel Down to Marineford so he has to be considered as one of strongest Vice Admirals there and he was shown with 8 swords already so for me its +10 for hope of Zoro vs Onigumo).
While Sanji is as strong as some other top Vice Admirals like Vergo or likes of Dobberman who for me was hinted to be as exceptional VA as Onigumo with Oda giving him quite many lines already compared to other VA. Vergos case is specific as I think he will be revealed as metal paramecia user in Laws flashback, so if this will trun out to be true it means that Sanji did pretty damn well with damaged body against Vergo and he would most likely trash some other VA with normal body. I hope I wont bring out some hate like last time I was talking about Vergo being metal DF user..
As for Laws flashback I wonder when it will start as set up for it with Law sitting already on throne is perfect- all that is needed is Law waking up and Doflamingo can start talking, or Law can start remembering past. Sure that Issho would beat the crap out of Zoro after quite a big fight now but closer to end of story Zoro will be capable of having equal fight with edge in his favour just like Mihawk should have been capable of beating Isshou even now. I see Zoro as someone who would be capable of fighting Onigumo/Vista caliber of people- yea I know yadda yadda Vista was having exchange with Mihawk yadda yadda. So those type of fights with that caliber of fighters should be most exciting while flashiest ones are left for closer to end of One Piece.
Wonder what Oda will show us in next chapter- I mean that there is action everywhere and he cut off Sanjis part of story for a lot of chapters already and I did somehow lost hope for seeing Sanji soon(I might get suprised). Franky was dealing with 2 of Doflamingo family members at one time so this points that he is plenty strong, not sure if stronger than both of them but his speed and weapons are keeping him in one piece. Depending on how Oda will handle Sanji escaping from Big Moms ship- he can be against 2 of strong big mom fighters and end up without serious injury like Franky for now. Also its really nice to see that Franky is stronger than expected and even more idiotic than expected. Cool character yet Senor Pink for me till now with his contradictions in everything - how he looks, his ability and fact that he is DF user, what he says, how he acts- is most memorable of Doflamingo pirates till now. Sure there is plenty of badasses but for now he is gem of Jokers crew for me. After seeing him for first time I expected least out of him and sure I gotten suprised.

It will take some time before Luffy can fight Yonkous on equal grounds, that by extension means he would have to first prove himself against opponents slightly less stronger than Emperors themselves, like the Admirals. And to show that Luffy is capable of fighting these kinds of characters, it will take some time as well, and I believe that is two to three arcs away, if not longer. How much real time passes until then, is anyone's guess.

Well, he's not. What do you mean by "handle an Admiral" anyway? Is Luffy going to pummel Fugitora like he did against Crocodile or Lucci? Luffy might be able to stall him for a few minutes, but that's about it. Fugitora is the strongest character on that island, and Luffy is not a threat to him.

You forget that Luffy just has the basics of haki down, he is not a master Haki user yet. This was evident when Luffy himself said his Haki was not strong enough against Hody's bite. An Admiral would put Hody down like a dog in comparison, and do it a lot more efficiently and faster. Why? Battle experience and Haki mastery. Luffy is just not there yet.
Rayleigh probably knows full well that attacking a Yonkou head on is incredibly difficult if not outright impossible. I think he was relying on Luffy encountering a few hurdles to grow further, continue to progress his Haki through real life battle experiences, and then face the Yonkous, which is fairly realistic approach to have.

Then he would have to deal with the debris hitting people faster than bullets….That's why Fugitora didn't send a meteor and just forced him to kneel in the ground, which was the safest way to handle a hostile person in this case. Law and DoFlamingo also had the luxury of fighting in a very convenient place without having limitations to use their powers.
That's all I have to say about this, really. It just comes down to speculation when we think Luffy will be able to face certain characters. You have your opinion, I have mine.

You're assuming Luffy's basis are Usopp basis, we know that Luffy's basis is way above the basis of a Haki user and Luffy has been using Armament Haki every single time after the time skip, also didn't Zoro do what you just said that an Admiral would do against Hody? Battle experience didn't help Luffy's opponents in the past, why does that matter now?

Having a sword and being a swordsman are two completly different things, Law is not a swordsman, he could not cut anything without his ope ope ability, but his ability just gives him to much advantage against characters like Zoro and Sanji, and he's Luffy's direct competence, we can't excpect Luffy's competence to be weaker than his subordinates.

Let's put Shanks and Mihawk as example, Shanks it's a Yonkou who has enough power and personal authority to stop a war, I bet Mihawk could never stop MarineFord's war, but still Mihawk it's the best swordsman, well skill and strength are as well different things, Mihawk has the skill and Shanks the strength(and incredible haki also), therefore it's no use being the most skilled swordsman while your opponent has enough observation haki to predict all your moves. Shanks has a Sword yeah but that doesn't makes him a swordsman, Shanks and Law actually had never showed any sword skills, they both are strong on their own way, and same with Issho, he's been owning everyone with only his gravity ability.

From my perspective Law is not pure swordsman as he is fighter using sword to make best use out of his devil fruit power. His fruit is his best weapon, not sword skills.
As for Fujitora his comment on "I am testing my power a bit" first time we seen him pulling meteorites from space- it made me think that he gotten gravity devil fruit AFTER he joined marines and he does not have 100% control over every aspect of his DF power yet. So he would be blind swordsman for most of his life. So for me Law and Fujitora as they both are users of swords and devil fruits differ a lot.

Zoro in fact did cut through with his slash. For me it was comparable feat to Doflamingo breaking out of Aokijis icing hiss ass.
As for Mihawk - Shanks thing. As they are both comparable in power for me, you have to remember that Shanks was with his whole crew at end of marineford war not by himself as for one even strongest man, top marines would just gang up on him. Mihawk with crew like the one Shanks has would do same thing so lets not compare those situations..
Their strength should be around same even now, I expect that Shanks eaten up some devil fruit to compensate lost arm. He has to have amazing skills with sword, haki etc but Mihawk lost interest in fighting with him FOR A RESON as one arm is handicap for swordsman of world class, not big but still on pure technical level Mihawk should have upper hand if they fought only with swords + haki.
Thats why i think shanks now have some kind of devil fruit power that keeps him on top so to say. For example with logia he could have created an arm out of logia element- just like Aokiji did with his leg, while not very functional it would be help of sorts in some situations.
All that is my point of view and I might be mistaken you might be right yet I think that what I wrote is worth reading and thinking from a bit different angle.
My issue with Becca is currently, she doesn't offer much to the story. Viola got less panel than her and she's been miles useful. I don't know what Oda will do to het in future but so far she's been a waste of space and I will never understand why some like her so much.
It's one thing if people say they dislike Rebecca and/or find her annoying like for example because she didn't won Block D on her own and she just got past it thanks to Rommel ( Personally i think she was able to Dodge most of the Attack thanks to her Speed/Haki but thats another discussion and hasnt really to do with the point i want to make) , or that she was hiding behind Bart & his Barrier … so that are Situations which might let her look weak compared to the other Contesters etc. i can kind of understand it , as those people got a point here. So far she isn't exactly one of my Favorites Characters/Persons of the current Arc either..which might or lets say knowing Oda most likely that will change as the Story continues. And i do get why some People/Reader's do like her , eventhough like i said before , so far she isnt really my favorite Character/Person of the current Arc but it's not like i dont like her infact i do like her , i think she doesent nearly deserve as much hate as she gets from certain Manga Readers, all over the internet/forums/etc.

I guess i'll explain Rebecca , her Role and what she is good for in Detail ,extra just for you(of course for all other People who think so aswell) , so you eventually will see how wrong most part of your Statement about her is.. :
First of all Rebecca currently is inside of the Corrida Colosseum , so its not like she is able to do anything outside of the Arena right now , like for example the way Vio did (Saving Sanji , helping Luffy & Zoro to reach Flamingos place , giving them usefull info , etc.). Right now she obviously is bound to the Colosseum as she is in Tournament's Final Match.
Secondly she is a Gladiator so its not like she is contesting for the first time in the Arena just because of the current Tournament.
As we know apparently she play's a bigger Role (in the Colosseum and in the current Arc) on top of that she wears the Title of the "Undefeated Woman". Oda cleverly used her to get the needed backround story infomations and alot infomation about the Colosseum and also abit about the kingdom & royal family that we , the Readers needed to know, that's what i call good Story telling by Oda-Sensei. So thats just one of her Role's in the current arc.
Another Main Reason why Rebecca is contesting , is that she exactly knows that the way she is right now (Strengthwise) she inst strong enough yet and thats why she wants to get stronger , as we know the prize of the current tournament, she of course wants to win & eat the Mera Mera no Mi. She wants to become Stronger for Thunder Soldier, Her Mother's Death most likely also plays a bigger Role on why she wants to get rid of Flamingo. And most likely the Kingdom aswell(if i am not mistaken , we the readers dont exactly know how much rebecca is awere of about the manipilation & brainwashing from Flamingo & Co. and i am to lazy to reread all those Chapters just for that Info right now) So no matter what , she needs/needed to get stronger as there wasnt anybody strong enough to win a fight against Flamingo & Co. She couldnt possibly know(and still if i am not mistaken dont really know) that suddenly there would appear a bunch of strong People (Strawhats & Co.) and on top of that , those will end up helping her & her Family to rescue the Kingdom from Flamingos Hands. Which by the way in my opinion that's the Reason why Becca isnt the one who at the end will eat the Mera Mera no Mi , because now there are People around which are Strong enough to mess with Flamingo & Co. so i dont really see a point anymore why Rebecca would/should be the one eating it , unless Oda really Plans her to become a Strawhat Member or has another important plan/task that she would need that kind of power for it, however thats not what i want to talk about right now.
So if we are looking at her the way she currently is right now(Strengthwise) i wouldnt say that she seems to be Super strong like one of the Bigshots we saw during the Battles ( Jesus Burgess , Sabo(Lucy2) ,Diamante , Bartolomeo , Don Chinjao , Cavendish/Rommel , Luffy, etc.) , i cant see her winning against either one of them , atleast not in a Normal 1vs1 Fight... , however i wouldnt say that Rebecca is weak either or that its impossible for her to win at all , as the Colosseum's Tournament got certain Rules & Possibilitys ( Ring size & form's ) so there is atleast a chance that in fact she might end up winning the whole thing, there is always a way to pull it off. Hell i even think she would be able to win against someone like..Hmmm.. for example Bellamy , or lets say i think she would have a chance to win against him, atleast it seems possible if not in a normal 1vs1 i totally see it happen in a Tournament Battle (Ring out= lose, etc.)
My point is just because someone isnt or dont seem as strong as some others doesent make this Person/Character automatically a waste of space/useless at all. In One Piece(or lets say in good Storys overall) Strength alone isn't what defines how usefull someone is or isnt(uneless its the only important thing and nothin else matters for whatever reason), during the Story so far there are plenty examples which showes that strength alone isnt everything, i will give atleast one good example for that later on. Also If it wasnt for Law , which got annihilated by Flamingo right infront of Luffys , Zoro's & Kinemons eyes. I am pretty sure Rebecca would be just another Reason for Luffy & Co. to go after Flamingo & his underlings , which they more or less were going after to begin with. It really depends how the current match in the Colosseum will end , but its very likely that in the end: Sabo , Bart & Koala(+those of the Rev. Army which might be around or come to join the Party) will end up helping Rebecca (or let's say she will just be another Reason why they will do so). We also got Riku and the other contestants which are currently Toy's but once that spell is gone i am pretty sure almost all/if not all of them will help Riku & his Family aswell as we saw most of them really respect him & the way he was ruling over his Kingdom and the effort he put into other Kingdom's aswell , to keep the peace alive. Another reason why they most likely will be glad to help is to get revenge for being turned into a Toy-Worker-Slave. That also would explain why Oda introduced so many Character's during the Tournament , why most of them are so unique and the uniqueness wont be wasted at all. Damn Oda is just a brilliant Story-teller / Mangaka , he just know what he is doing.. :)!
Secondly Comparing Viola and Rebecca at this point isnt really fair either.They are both doing what they can in their current Situations , which means fulfilling the Roles Oda gave them there.
Some say that by the look of it Vio seems(dont have to be) stronger thn Rebecca , which right now is kind of hard to say because Vio most likely only defeated Sanji due to the well-known fact that he would never injure a woman , and we probably didnt saw her going all out yet , which mean's she could also be capable of using Haki, and in fact she might be a strong/very strong fighter. In my eyes Vio also got a kind of Haxx-like Devil Fruit(Giro Giro no Mi) when it comes to certain Situations, i mean thanks to it she is able to see through everything (X-ray vision) and she is able to read the minds of others, as well as allow others to see into her memories in return. She can even Attack with her Eyes by forming Tears ( just some of the reasons why she also is a good candidate for becoming the next strawhat crewmember , but like i said thats not what i want to discuss right now) . So Thanks to her Devil Fruit Abilitys and thanks to the fact that unlike Rebecca , Vio is outside of the Colosseum , which allows her helping right now it seems that she is more usefull thn Rebecca. Because she had the Opportunity to do so. However that doesent make Rebecca Useless or a waste , we dont know how much of a help or lets say how good of a Support she would be for the Strawhats or the others outside , or what she would be capable of doing there. So lets move on & concentrate to the Infomation's we actually got about her so far instead of talking about nonsense what if's..:
By the look of it Rebecca apparently plays one of the Key- Figures/Roles in this Arc as one of the main Protagonist's. She is a Member of the (former) Royal King's Family and has plenty of Reason's to Crush Flamingo & Co. to Save "her" Kingdom ( i am not sure how much she actually might know and i am to lazy to reread it at the moment to be able to analyze and tell it correctly).
She is the granddaughter of Riku Dold III , which is the former king of Dressrosa before he was dethroned by Donquixote Doflamingo & his Crew.
She is the daugther of Scarlett [ (F.King)Riku Dold's daughter and the elder sister of Vio.]
She is the daughter of Thunder Soldier [which was/is a commander of the Riku Royal Army , he is also the son-in-law of (F.King)Riku Dold III.]
And Viola [which is another daughter of (F.King) Riku Dold III] making her Rebecca's Aunt . It is currently unknown what Rebecca thinks or if he even know of her aunt since no interaction has been shown between the two as of yet.
Apart from Scarlett which was most likealy killed by the Donquixote Pirates all of them play/or will play an important Role in the Current Arc. All of them have the same Goal and it's pretty obviouse that one way or another they all are/or will be usefull , hell so far all of them have been usefull in atleast one way and i am pretty sure they still will be even more usefull as the Story will continue.
In a way you can compare Rebecca to Vivi ( Princess 2.0 ) as there are alot of similarities between those two, and more or less they both play the same Role in their arc's/Kingdoms , there are some diffrences for example Vio is another or let's say the former Princess (which unlike in Vivi's case might be the reason why one of them will be capable of becomeing a Strawhats Crewmember as this time around there are 2 Princesses , so if one stays to take care of the Kingdom the other one is able to leave it as she knows that the Kingdom is in good hands , but thats just my shot in the dark about what could happen and that has nothing to do with the point i want to make with this Post , so i'll keep it for another discussion ;) ).
However… Rebecca and Vivi , both of them may not be the Strongest Fighter's compared to the Top Tier Fighter of each of their Arcs , that alone doesent make them useless at all or how you said it "a waste of space".
Both are extremly brave and they are both willing to risk their own life for their Goals.
Both (want to) stand up against the one Responsible (Crocodile , Flamingo) to clear their (grand)fathers name [the diffrence here is that Vivi wanted to stop the War , while Becca want to get rid of Flamingo, i am not sure about how much she actually knows about the current situation (brainwashing & manipulation) and i am to lazy to reread all chapters just for that info] and by doing that (crushing the main antigonist aka. Crocodile/Flamingo) restoring the peace of their Kingdom's once and for all.
Both going up against powerful enemies despite more or less "clearly" being outmatched in term's of Strength against certain People - The Diffrence here is that by the look of it Rebecca got way more fighting experience, also Becca is very fast and most likely (according to Luffy's/Lucy's Statement) got Kenbunshoku Haki , i almost forgot she even got a Title as the "Undefeated Woman". Just another Reason why i dont get why so many people think she is super weak while in fact she isnt weak she just may/seem/is not as strong as certain other people, that's all.

The diffrence between those two here is that while almost everybody respected/loved Vivi…Thanks to Flamingos Manipulation's/Brainwashing , almost everybody in the Kingdom dislike/hate Rebecca, and wish she would finally show some blood or that she finally get's killed.

I am pretty sure in the end Rebecca will have more or less the same Role as Vivi's of course here and there , even though the circumstances are kind of diffrent this time around, for example there are more Royal Family members in the current Arc and of course there are some other diffrences aswell.
Jeez i ended up writing waaaaay more thn i planned to , however that should be more thn enough to make my point clear and to show you that Rebecca actually offers enough to the story , what her Roles are , and that she isnt a waste of space/useless at all.

Again I think Law's case his ambigous so I can't completely disagree with you. But please do not bring Shanks in this debate. "Shanks is not a swordmen" wtf! He did not block Akainu's magma fist and Whitebeard's spear with his charisma (even if he could). You say that he had never showed any sword skills alright, but it might be because he had never showed any skill at all in 700 chapter! (except for haki wich is not a fighting style).

Most of the time i thought those Pure Powerlevel Discussions are kind of tiresome these days, also they are kind of boring. Admiral's , Yonko's , Strawhat's , Shichibukai etc.
Oda most likely got some pretty damn good Reasons , why we dont know the extend of what for example Shanks is capable of.
From Oda's point of View The way he did show/presented Whitebeard during the war was mostly clever handled/executed.
He was strong , he was feared , he was hyped. But how strong he really was , that's something i assume we dont really saw during the War.
He was 72 Years old , and it seems that with Age Character's lose alot of Stamina and with that they are limited ( a good example for that is Silvers Rayleigh vs. Admiral Kizaru ).
Whitebeard also had some serious illness , which also most likely limited him in more thn one way. On top of that he got heavily injured during that Arc. last but not least , it totally seemed
that he couldnt go all out , because so many of his Ally's/Son's + Ace were around and he could have hurt or even worse kill some of them. And when he actually might have been able to nearly go all out , it seemed that he was to heavy injured & tired for doing so at that point.
Who know's what kind of a monster Whitebeard really was, especially during his Prime :ninja:..
When it comes to the Yonko Strength Debate , well of course a Yonko will be super strong. However thats apparently not the only reason why they are feared. When i think about the Stuff Mihawk was thinking , about Luffy while fighting Vista , i always thought thats for sure must be one of the reason's why Yonko's are so feared , after all they rule about the New World with their impressive influence/control over dozens of other pirate crews and self-governing islands, so it makes sense.
I almost forgot the Strawhat's. I think ever since the timeskip it still is really hard to say how strong exactly each one of them is right now. I dont really had the feeling that either one of them went fully all out yet. Of all the Strawhat's , Luffy was able to show what he is capable of the most. however i'll think from the current Arc on we will See/know how strong each one of them actually is these days. Luffy vs. Chinjao was a good example of Luffy's current Strength, however i doubt he went all out on that fight. Sanji also didn't really had the right Chance to go all out yet. His fight vs. Vergo got interrupted , and the only hint we got was that if he keep's fighting him the way he did , he will probably break his leg. During that short fight with Flamingo , i am pretty sure the power of his Devil Fruit totally got him by suprise, so we cant really say that much about it either. Same goes for Zoro , he didnt really put on a fight vs Monet and defeated her by blowing her mind, Tashigi did the finishing blow and was asking herself what the strawhat's were doing during the past 2 years , and how strong the might be these days. And that short skirmish vs Fuji , wasnt an all out fight either , it was way to short and it got interrupted pretty soon. Zoro also got kind of suprised by his Devil Fruit ability but unlike Sanji he managed to get out of the "trap" and tryd to counter it.
So that are my 2 Cents about all the current Powerlevel debate's

Well most likely the reason why i ended up writing so much about that topic is that lately from monday - saturday i dont really got that much free time anymore which i would need to have proper Discussions.

Well you have to consider that Zoro slashed through Fujitoras gravity pressing so it was a glimpse of what it would be without Zoro being pressurized with enough force for ground to be pressed so deep in.

Why couldn't he? Obviously you know a lot about the character who has barely been seen. Think about it this way: would Doffy lose to any VA? No. So what makes this newly promoted Admiral so much stronger? Doffy would put up a great fight. Just like he will for Luffy. Probably the biggest fight for Luffy for about 100 chapters to come
Basic reading comprehension a guy whos going down in the first major arc of the new world stands no chance against the admirals who are end of story opponents plus the admirals along with the yonkou have been hyped to be the very pinnacle of power in the one piece world the strongest force in the world governments arsenal dofla would get stomped by fuji. I agree with the last part of your post though, it will be Luffys hardest fight out of all the opponents hes had so far.
By far the worst example of filler in a fight was that Grizzly Magnum travesty.
The Hody dodging Luffy aboard Noah and him almost passing out was worse. But Grizzly Magnum was utter bullshit as well.

They made up scenes from the manga into the Anime. E.g. Doflamingo cut up marines in manga. In Anime he controlled them and made them shoot each other. That alone is a disappointment.
Disappointing yeah, but it didn't destroy his purpose in the story (i.e. Hody giving Luffy trouble in the anime, when his whole purpose was to prove how Luffy could now easily handle "strong" people).

As amazing as manga is anime turned into crap. Money are of course reason. People still watch it even if its a crap. There is a saying that hope is heaviest burden man can carry. It is a bane of idealist as they say. So plenty of us believe that it can and it will get at least decent..
As for next chapter seeing some of Franky vs Vice Admiral would be very nice. As such veteran as Bastille should be far too much of an enemy for Franky it sure opens up a window for some change of how whole area looks like, Franky might have to use his beams to get out of this situation against Bastille and it might open up some new path, as some people said if Pica assimilated whole castle he might take damage because of it..
Fuji wasn't promoted from VA. He was conscripted. As far as we know he was one of the two most powerful people the navy could conscript. He is probably far stronger than a VA.
I understand that and he probably is. But you still can't say something like that when we haven't seen him do anything in frame.

Basic reading comprehension a guy whos going down in the first major arc of the new world stands no chance against the admirals who are end of story opponents plus the admirals along with the yonkou have been hyped to be the very pinnacle of power in the one piece world the strongest force in the world governments arsenal dofla would get stomped by fuji. I agree with the last part of your post though, it will be Luffys hardest fight out of all the opponents hes had so far.
Yes but what you're saying is that by title alone, with no evidence, they are stronger than Doflo who has been considered one of the strongest charavters in One Piece for the last ten years. Now that we know his fruit name is he that much weaker? What happens when we learn Fuji's fruit name. I agree FUji would win but its not like he would itterly destroy him. There have been many fights in OP that have gone on for days. It wouldn't be completely one sided is all I'm trying to get at.
The definition of a swordsman seems to be pretty loose in the opverse.
I mean as i recall Daz bones was considered one, and he was kind of a freakshow.
But atleast those kind of swordsmen aren't as susceptible to swordsman wank.
The definition should have been pretty simple: "Anybody who fights primarily with a sword".
The problem with this definition though, is that it always starts another pointless Shanks vs. Mihawk debate. Not to mention unusual cases like Daz Bones and Law.
For me TOEI cant do anything worse than this - Cesar being able to stop Grizzly Magnum was slightly less eyes melting in a bad way than this
As amazing as manga is anime turned into crap. Money are of course reason. People still watch it even if its a crap. There is a saying that hope is heaviest burden man can carry. It is a bane of idealist as they say. So plenty of us believe that it can and it will get at least decent..
As for next chapter seeing some of Franky vs Vice Admiral would be very nice. As such veteran as Bastille should be far too much of an enemy for Franky it sure opens up a window for some change of how whole area looks like, Franky might have to use his beams to get out of this situation against Bastille and it might open up some new path, as some people said if Pica assimilated whole castle he might take damage because of it..
Yes all i can do is hope for the Anime. As for the Pica point, i just finished watching Attack on Titan but basically the way i see it working is like a Titan or Human Titan like Eren to be exact. He controls a whole body (Titan) also Pica controls a whole body(? Giant+Castle). So if you have watched/read it the Massive Titan he controls gets injured but he himself doesn't unless you attack where he is residing (AoT tape of the neck, Pica currently unknown).
So i don't think he will be taking much damage, like Eren controls a Titan when he loses an arm or a leg and same for Pica it doesn't hurt their main or physical body, the more of the castle that gets cut up or Dislocated from the source the less Pica has to control.
Two different series but it's the way i see it working.
