@Darth:
What you are proposing isn't compromise either.
And there are more than six countries in the world, you know? If WSJA was avaiable for everyone, than you could say that he side with legal standing should not cave in.
For now, you are saying this: We, the citizens of english speaking countries that have WSJA demand that you, people who can only read scanlations, do not read, and do not discuss in any way or form the chapters before we get it.
The moment we all will be on the same legal standing, than you can demand something like that.
But not before.
I have never once said that. If WSJA is not available for you, then I have no qualms with you reading the scanlations. So thanks for trying to put words into my mouth.
All I've asked for, and all YonkouProductions asked for is a small amount of courtesy to think about others who do read the official release. Instead of the people who do have legal standing caving, those who read the scanlations (a lot of which are members on this board whom WSJA isavailable for, going by the Location thread) should simply think about other people.
Those who read the official release already avoid chapter threads here, on reddit, and any other place that discuses One-Piece, they're already compromising by not being able to discuss the chapters like everyone else, but the issue arises when the scanlation is released and people stop thinking about others and start just discussing everything openly.
Honestly, I don't understand why this is such a big deal when it comes to One-Piece.
With Game of Thrones, people would lose their minds if someone spoiled something from the books before the TV show gets to it, so spoilers were insane. In pretty much any movie thread here you have someone warning about spoilers, especially when its only been released in one part of the world. A lot of people seem to be uppity about spoilers when it affects them, but when it doesn't, they don't care. And that is what's hypocritical.

@Renegadesoul:
They are hypocrits asking people to give up something while they dont even want to sacrifice a damn thing.
They've already given up much more than people who read scanlations do. They do choose to avoid the obvious places where they'll get spoiled, and, as such, they miss out on the fun of discussing the chapter we all get. Yes, today since the official release is out, they can pop into the chapter thread, but in 2 days time, they'll have to avoid again. They're already making sacrifices, so you have no right to demand more when the issue spills into places where they shouldn't be getting spoiled. and those who are doing it aren't even pretending to care.
