I don't think he has ever actually shown any indication that he thinks he's stronger than Luffy, except maybe the very first time they met where he threatened to cut him if he got in his way. In fact didn't he claim Luffy was the only one who could beat Lucci, and that if they tried to help, they would die? I'm pretty sure all this superiority talk is a purely fan made conundrum.

At Whiskey Peak when they had their little fight he said something along the lines of "Time to see which is better, fists or swords."

Maybe it's a little silly but… has anyone ever wondered where Sanji's and Zoro's rivalry comes from? They seemed to get along okay at first but then Zoro tries to attack Nami with reasonable accusations and after that they are the worst of enemies! I know Sanji is very protective of women but it still feels kinda forced from Oda. It doesn't seem like something impossible to work out and even if Sanji wouldn't forgive him, I think Zoro would be a little more mature and just ignore him.

I've read Water 7 twice now, and both times I felt like Kaku wasn't really a match for Zoro. Obviously Ryuuma, the fishman swordsman, and Monet were far weaker than Zoro and honestly I never thought about Zoro's strength being comparable to Luffy's. I think Luffy's bounty is reflective of his actions as well as his strength, whereas Zoro is not directly responsible for what course the SH's take. Could Zoro's high bounty and SN status be strictly related to his strength? I think Oda has written Luffy to be the strongest by a bit, but is there anything concrete to say that for example Zoro couldnt have fought Lucci had Luffy/Kaku not been there? The only thing I can think of is the Zoro/Sanji pacifista fight post-timeskip, and even then, the fact that they teamed up doesn't necessarily mean they had to.

Wait what? How is it logically possible to come up with that conclusion. In fact, Zoro probably had the hardest time among anyone bar Luffy.

That could be, its been a while since I read TB, but iirc Zoro walked away from Ryuuma and Kaku with considerably less damage than from Mr. 1. Kaku/Zoro was definitely the longest, but I was very underwhelmed- my mistake if that's not the case.

Not in the foreseeable future, I don't think that's how Luffy will ever run his crew, sending certain members on errands to other islands.

Zoro said he was ready to throw away his life which Sanji thought was stupid, now the reason why Sanji thought it was stupid back then was- Sanji has a dream but he wasn't ready to put his life on the line to achieve that dream because he believed that he owes Zeff too much and needs to pay him back before going after his dream. So yeah after Zeff made it clear that Sanji doesn't owe anything to him that's when Sanji became like Luffy and Zoro those who are ready to put their life on the line for their dream.

This probably isn't the series for you then? Because it's never about the greater good - Luffy only gets involved if he cares for someone personally. That was highlighted in Impel Down; Luffy didn't care that many dangerous criminals were released, so long as he could save one person. Look at his argument with Hannybal. At the end of the day, they are pirates, not noble heroes.

In Robin's case in particular, it makes sense. She had been betrayed and hurt by everyone she met before she met them.

To be fair, shonen manga usually depict "close ones over general population" as the right choice because it shows you value friendshipt, and love, and… nakama.

Sorry, I posted that at 2 AM and wasn't very clear with that last part. When I meant "performs a certain action", I was excluding ones like pooping or eating which are required for survival*. An example of the kind of action I meant: some people think that everybody lies. I don't think that's a valid claim unless the one making the claim has actually met everyone and everyone did indeed lie. Lying is a choice and isn't necessary for life, so it's entirely possible to go through life without making the decision to lie. Also there are people with physical or mental blocks that make them unable to communicate (as well as people who don't communicate by choice), and lying to someone involves communicating with them. If you don't communicate, you can't lie.

*of course, I did once hear about a story about someone from India who went 68 years without eating, drinking, or using the bathroom

For the monkeysphere article you posted earlier, I couldn't relate to most of it. I see everyone as an individual. There was only one piece (no pun intended) in there that applies to me: it was the one about not thinking of the sanitation worker's health despite that the job the sanitation worker performs keeps us from living in a mountain of our own filth. Not because the sanitation worker's health doesn't matter, but because I usually just don't think about things like that. I don't usually think about the health of the people I do know either, though. Again, not because it doesn't matter, but because other peoples' health (regardless of whether or how well I know them) isn't something I think about often unless they're in danger at this very second.

Let us summarize some theories/forshadowing of him being noble related

Some people already brought up the theory about him being a noble in Arabasta with his Mr. Prince alternate… In the back it was just baseless speculation but still it may have some connection... I never believed it but maybe people has been right... What's more interesting is the Den Den Mushi.

This Den Den Mushi showed us how Sanji eyebrows really look like way before the TS... So maybe the Prince stuff is hinted through the Den Den as well

Sanji stated he came from North Blue in the Jaya arc we learned about dwarves for the first time and DoFlamingo has been introduced…

In EL Sanji said about how he was strictly raised to never kick a woman as child… people just ignore it saying it is stupid stuff but still I will post it again... If he is from noble blood he may have learned it here or somehow have seen how the scumbags of nobles have treated women/his mother

And now we have the current chapter… it is really amazing how Sanji, who really hasn't been treated very well since the ts, has become so interesting with just this chapter. Now I'm interested how long Oda will keep this stuff secret. You know we are moving on to Wano, where other stuff is important and most likely will have some huge Zoro time as well.

But maybe it will have a role with the whole reverie stuff going on. Of course Oda can still troll u with it being just a stupid gag... But I hope this time it won't. And I doubt it has anything to do with some infos he gathered since his disappearance, cuz the other Swirlystraws should have it as well.

I know it's a loose connection but the illusions given to Sanji about being a devil might come off as some relation to royalty. I only say that since the Devil has been refered to as the Prince of Darkness. Could just be a happy coincidence but it works.
Anyone remember any chapters where Sanji talks about anything hell or devil related? I guess against Jyabra, maybe Absolom and obviously everything to do with Kamabakka Kingdom. It's so hard for me to reference chapters and pages with just this phone and this restrictive Internet.

Even if the reason for Sanji being wanted is a somewhat silly reason, it's already serious enough that someone has enough power/standing within the Marines or government to actually manipulate the terms and conditions of his wanted poster. I mean if this is the start of the true hunt for Sanji, at what lengths will they go regardless of the reason? That in and of itself excites me!

Nobles in One Piece aren't really the kind of people who will teach their kid not to kick a woman.
As for the second point, if he had seen scumbags treating his mother or other women badly, he would have said that he decided to never hit a woman, rather than raised to never hit a woman or something like that.

His face is still weird. And he must have left his home when he was just a child.
His trademark eyebrows as well as hair are both present in the last poster as well.
What exactly has changed between his last poster and the new one which would make someone recognize him who hasn't seen Sanji since he was kid?

So, what's the correct one? Is it "most feared" or "the one who will cause the most trouble"?

Anyways, how does that tie with him being a Noble at all?
Be it Mr. Prince or his ideas in Skypiea&EL, he has always caused the most trouble to the opponents.
He will probably keep doing the same in the future too, maybe at a larger scale, but how does being a Noble means he will be feared or cause more trouble?

I think his "only alive" status might have to do with something he has done during the past 3 days.
As in, Sanji did something so outrageous during the past 3 days that the WG just has to have a public execution.
Or some guy among higher ups just needs to take care of him personally since he is pissed at Sanji's actions.
