Bleach: As the series has taught us, Ichigo + angst isn't a winning combination.
But whatever. Ichigo talks with "Zangetsu", asking if he's an enemy or a foe…..the fact that Bachgetsu said his words were genuine aside from his name lead me to believe two possiblities: a) This Bach is either a "good" version or b) time travel's involved. Is the Bach outside even aware of this development?
Bachgetsu makes me laugh though
"I didn't want you to be a Shinigami" - so giving Ichigo a name to power up a physical sword was doing what? Teaching him Quincy 101?
"I didn't want you to fight" - so what about that speech in the beginning about retreating and hesistating?!
Like we all said last chapter, this reveal is a big middle finger to all the themes and development in the beginning of the series. The moments we came to love just feel like a shadow of themselves…..
…...oh come on, Ichigo didn't think Bach looked like Zangetsu when he fought him!
Not a horrible chapter, just mostly frustrating and dull.
Naruto: Yaaay….teamwork.
Well, I do think giant creatures is one of the few awesome things remaining in this series. But seriously Kishi? Naruto jumps over to the giant Juubi....Sasuke slithers to the mini ones....Sakura....heals.
Cue team attack by Naruto and Sasuke (while everyone's saying "go!")
And Juubi's about to evolve again. I can feel it.
