2012 Presidential Election Discussion

Yeah, what's going on in Ohio? Romney is ahead 0.1 per cent right now?!
-
Im in a red state -_-
-
-
I'm really happy now. Not only did Obama get California (where I live and voted) but he got my home state of Maryland, and he got the district my parents live in in Texas.
Also, the Stewart/Colbert coverage has been great.
-
Romney winning would be so Pyrrhic for him, looking back
Yeah sure you won the election, but the Democrats are going to be pissed at you and your own party completely despises you and only chose you because everyone else was too crazy, good luck getting anything done bub
-
[Ha ha!
.Yeah I've read this somewhere haha if he didn't even consider the possibility to lose, for that alone he deserved to get slapped in the face.
-
I'm in a red state too.
Can't believe Florida is probably going to be a blue state.
-

LOLTrump
-
Trump's meltdown is exceeding expectations. Karl Rove's is pretty entertaining too.
-
I love how people were being super conservative in their Facebook posts regarding political standing before the election. Trying their best to "sound" neutral because nothing alienates friends quicker than politics can.
Then as soon as one person is declared winner or not people forget all rational and start posting ASAP on their opinions on the result. Very amusing.

LOLTrump
That revolution should involve Trump being put on a boat to Monaco where he belongs.

Doesn't matter to me. 3 out of 88 Friends liked Mitt Romney. 3 of which are cool as ice.

Calm down, Trumpy, 30% of the nation's votes haven't even been counted.

Maine legalized gay marriage!!!!!
-
Maryland as well.

Maryland as well.[/QUOTE
Claimed claimed? Or just trending?

@Monkey:
Maine legalized gay marriage!!!!!
My friend will be very happy. :)
-
Oh, I saw people on Twitter talking about it so I assumed it was passed. :x
-
It's about time. Marriage being strictly defined as between a man and a woman is soooo gay.
-
AAAAAAHhahaha, Colorado passed Weeeeeeeeeeeeeed.
-
lol missed the Jon Stewart at 10 pm so catching the repeat at 11pm.
Love the new way to call Romney a D–-head= "don't kow if he will give a consession speach or an acceptance speach but either way he's going to have a penis sharphied on his forhead" -
Weed is legal in 3 states and Obama is prez again, how good is that??
-
My friend will be very happy. :)
And congrats to the whole country being one step closer for you too.
I know we've had our scuffles, but at the end of the day our hearts are both pointing in the same direction.
Here's to you tonight raises e-glass. -
Bits of hope arrive
Shortly after election.
Is this a haiku? -

Here's to you tonight raises e-glass.Monkey King, I'm not sure how to express this better, but this post from you has been my fantasy for a long-ass time.

Jesus christ this is better than 2008.
-Obama rewins
-Bunch of close senate races go blue
-first votes for weed being legal
-first popular votes FOR gay marriage in THREE states, which absolutely kicks the shit out of the balls of the anti-gay marriage crowd who balanced sooooo much of their shit on being smug about how gay marriage had to be passed by politicians and judges, and not the people. WHAT NOW BIATCH. -
Colorado isn't alone.
Massachusetts and Washington legalize weed!
Never tried it, so I can't hate on it.
-
Why are all important decisions made on in the span of a day anyways?
-
Gotta say that was pretty exciting, a very close race indeed. Congrats to Obama, glad America decided he was worth a second chance.
-

Weed sucks imo, but it's silly as heck to have it illegal when cigs and alcohol aren't.
-
Sometimes I forget that the last generation is a dying breed. I ambivalently anticipate the damage we'll do.
-
Gay Marriage in Minnesota, Maryland, Maine, and Washington.
Senate now has their first Asian woman, first openly gay man, and first disabled woman as members of the Senate.
All members of the rape brigade were ousted. -
Democratic Heidi Heitkamp has a four thousand vote lead over Republican candidate Rick Berg in the race to fill Byron Dorgan's empty North Dakota Senate seat with over 90% of the vote counted.
-
This thread needs a name change already.
-
Obama has Colorado. Even if Obama loses Ohio, it's over. Romney needs to give up.

I don't exactly have high expectations for the taste, but I'm glad those who enjoy it can enjoy it legally.
-

Exactly what happened tonight is why I've rejected the old pathetic liberal line of American shame and pleading Western Europeans and Canadians to whip us.
Because there was never nothing we couldn't be.
The Bush years taught me one big thing. Don't ever let the others hijack pride. Pride wins, pride feels good, pride motivates. Optimism. And right now, the pessimism is passing hands. Expect the shame in America to come from a new set of mouths tomorrow.
-
Progressive day.
Thank god now we can just get on with our lives.
-
Gay Marriage in Minnesota, Maryland, Maine, and
Er, Minnesota rejected making it illegal. They didn't legalize it. Still a good thing though.
-
Why are all important decisions made on in the span of a day anyways?
They're not. Everyone should generally have their minds made up by the time the election comes.
-
Just wondering what did you guys vote for #2???
I heard it was extremely Flawed but I feel terrible for anyone who's suffering so much and they can't do anything about it, so i voted yes
and Obama won, i honestly thought that was how it was gonna play out, although I think MSNBC was wrong to act like Obama was gonna win the popular vote by miles, I think a lot of people probably heard that and thought they didn't need to vote and that probably hurt him in the polls I mean a lot of Democrats watch MSNBC (Guess it didn't matter in the long run)
and lol didn't Bush win this way to, what's Trump talking about
-

Whoops! My bad.
Still good though.

What is this? Different states have different thing son the ballot dude.
-
and lol didn't Bush win this way to, what's Trump talking about
I assumed that was the joke, but maybe I just don't know Trump.
-
I assumed that was the joke, but maybe I just don't know Trump.
No Trump is dead serious lol.
-
They're not. Everyone should generally have their minds made up by the time the election comes.
I meant why are these votings coming together on a particular day.
-
I'm hoping well will get a lengthy speech after the celebrations going over his key goals and ambitions over the coming term.
And I'm glad it was a close race. Obama is the kind of guy to push even harder to quash the devision in public support and get the country and drive back to make some brilliant changes, even if that's something as simple as ecomonic stability alone.
Romney could have actually done some good just by running and pointing out the two sides of the country. I don't know how Obama can use this information effectively, but we know the topics that made the device and know these issues need to be looked at to calm the unrest of the failed opposition.
-
Can we just lock Trump in an asylum already?
-
God I want to see Romney's speech. He hasn't even conceded yet!
