Concernign the arguement of whether the dragon could be a DF or a narutal occurign creature like other mythical or ancient animals that exist in OP world= I tried to find the post that was arouing that Dinosaurs don't count in the arguement since they no longer exist, couldn't find the original post but I want to point out that dinosaurs still do exist in the OP-verse on prehistoric islands like Little Garden.
@Czechmate:
Wondering if this island was another one of Vegapunk's failed earth-heating systems? Like the one on his home island, but it went overboard and razed the island uncontrollably? Just an idea.
@GJardim:
Yea, this could explain somehow the sea on fire. If not, I have no idea how it can be explained.
I agree, it could have been orginally just a winter island and not too dangerous.The only buildings we've seen so far are military buildings so maybe it was uninhabited, Then Vegapunk started a lab to try out a trail eart-heating system he didn't want to try on his inhabited island but it goes wrong.
There are two possibleities why the log needles didn't react to the island. O
1=using that above thoery =since the danger is not natural part of the island, that could explain why the needle did not react at all. The Minister did say the morethe needles move the more dangerous http://www.mangareader.net/one-piece/653/8
2=Yet he also said some islands magnetic forces will not register at all http://www.mangareader.net/one-piece/653/7
@Arkman:
I saw some people thinking that that Ryuma VS Zoro was the real deal. So this goes to all that people: That was Zoro VS Brook's shadow.
It may have been Brooks shadow but it was Ryuma's body, I thought it had his memories. That is the impression given of what he said when he lost to Zoro and gave the sword to him.
@M-Pyre:
If the samurai is there to hunt the dragon, why are there other people there too? Smoker said that no-one should be on Punk Hazard, as it's been closed off by the government for four years. Yet Luffy obviously caught a distress call from a group of people that were there. And how did they get there, with the island surrounded by a sea of flames? Looking forward to getting answers to these questions.
Nami pointed out that the other side of the island was covered by winter-like clouds, add in the fact the caller said "it's cold" is what makes people think only one half it island is on fire, other half is cold, so that other side is likely where they disembarked on the island.
@S.C.:
Perhaps they are more of the former NFP prisoners who somewhat evaded Smoker's forces and tried to hide on the Island.
@M-Pyre:
Well, over the den-den mushi, they thought Luffy was their captian at first. So I'd assume that they're pirates rather than prisoners.
Amigo meant the pirates that were prisoners made slaves of Hodi and his crew New Fishmen Pirates on Fishman Island. We saw that some were captured by Smoker in previous chapter, but with how many who were captives of NFP there was no way Smoker caught all of them.
