Second panel shows 'Shyar –' above the doorway, and the long panel in the center, if you look closely, looks like it says 'Shyari', but it's very difficult to read out. I'm assuming it's something along those lines, though.
Well that was boring. I'm all for exploring the islands and talking about the people on it but that was just not worth the few weeks wait. I'm glad he's getting all of this out of the now though so we can get on to more interesting chapters. The Big Mam protecting the island revelation and the fortune telling revelation was cool and all but the rest was "meh"

Definitely worth the agonizing three weeks wait, mainly because the exploring and exposition stuff is one of the things I love most in my OP.
Good to see Hyouzou isn't fodder; I liked his design from the moment he was first shown and would've been a waste of character if he ended up fodder like the other two. And damn, he looks so badass in that panel where he carries his comrades like a boss. Definitely looking forward to seeing what the "strongest swordsman" in FI is capable of (and a "drunken" swordsman at that, which makes me all the more pumped).
The comedic moments like the okamas giving Sanji blood, Luffy being his good ol' self asking if mermaids poop and that meat shouldn't be taken lightly, Usopp's reactions/facefaults (never fails to make me lol), Brook's "getting boned" comment, and the usual Papagg-Caimie gags… couldn't ask for more.

Honestly, I'd say the most interesting part of her design is what was posted earlier. Namely that her tail is EXACTLY the same as that of the shark Surume spit out. Now if only we had more info so we can figure out what this might mean about her

Oda once again shows that he knows how to set up a good cliffhanger. Caribou on the loose, Luffy prophesied to destroy Fishman Island, Big Mama, the other Strawhats still missing… This arc just gets better and better.

Kraken/sarume spit out a shark near FI, there is a shark mermaid in FI who happens to have a shark in her room. You know what this means, the shark that controlled the kraken must be shirley.
Chances are though that there are more than 2 sharks in FI and that this fortune teller than helped them out isn't going to want them dead specially after she wished her fortune was not true.
Awesome chapter, just can't imagine how luffy is going to get in trouble, although I'm the madame jumped the gun and assumed just because luffy was there that he caused it. Even if he went away, these events would take place, like skypia, alabasta, water 7 and ID. The poor guy is just at places at the wrong time.
So next week, there's the Carue cover as last Animal Theater, isn't it?
And when Luffy overcomes Shyari's (mis)fortunetelling, I wonder how many will start whining about typical stereotype while they're unable to see that Shyari actually never saw a clear image of him… Like she didn't see the start of the Great Age of Pirates, but that many pirates would come to Fishmen Island...

I apologize if it was already said, but I believe the prediction was a pirate with a straw hat would destroy FI. Van Der Decken has a straw hat. Plus, I don't believe Luffy's hat is ripped. Van Der Decken's poster is shadowy on one side so it could be ripped over there.

and we saw earlier there's a shadow of BIG sinking Ship at fishman District, NOAH...
I bet my coin to this... Noah is a name of Ancient Weapon.. Luffy will activate it at the end of the arc, and recklessly Destroy Fishman Island with it...

When I noticed the poster, I thought it was Demalo Black at first, 'til I read "Van Der Dekken". 
I know that my thought is far fetched but, it would be a nice way to reintroduce Law back into the story. I'm not saying that the two are siblings but, have a potential link.

This chapter was fantastic. Oda really know how to introduce a vivid, imaginative world and ease us into the plot at the same time. Madam Shirly and the new swordsman have really great designs.

i've thought of that, and its feasible that the hat itself triggers something within madam. thought i got a feeling she saw fragments of the future, where FI will not necessarily be destroyed, but damaged heavily, and it wasn't because of luffy but luffy defended, and as the last one standing he was ultimately the one in her eyes or w/e~ i'm guessing the latter is what most ppl are leaning towards too
