I'm thankful that my family has remained healthy and safe throughout this pandemic.
Also that this god forsaken, 9-month military deployment will at last be brought to a merciful and long overdue end in 17 days.
Like Armageddon: Chaos at postal facilities amid widespread cutbacks
The part about the baby chicks broke my heart.
Fuck Dejoy
Think about that. I've taken steps to do my voting nearly 3 months in advance and still don't know if my vote will make it in time. That is INSANE. How many people in the military are going to be affected?
Yeah, It's been a shitty struggle, lemme tell you. Not even being in the country since January (9 month ocean deployment), no cell service, A mailing address that's been constantly moving hundreds of miles around the North Pacific Ocean (and now the Caribbean), and possibly having the shittiest internet connectivity certainly isn't making the voting process any less of a clusterfuck than it usually is. I'm not due to return home until end of September at the earliest.
I really, really, want to vote Trump out of office. I voted in the last presidential election, and during the mid-terms; but realistically speaking I think I'm kinda fucked out of voting on this one. I just don't think my vote will make it in time

The Unauthorized Story of Walt Disney's Haunted Mansion: Expanded Second Edition by Jeff Baham
If you're a huge fan of the Disney ride, it's an incredibly interesting read. The amount of insider knowledge, in-depth history from conception to construction to completion, and analysis of the ride, scene by scene, with insight into how the effects work….it was all so fascinating to read.
I'm still salty we never got that At the Mountains of Madness movie that Del Toro was supposedly working on (though it probably never got past pre-production).
Personally I'm much more disappointed in that Haunted Mansion reboot with Del Toro writing and producing that never came to fruition.
Especially among other live-action adaptions of Disney rides being green-lit, like The Jungle Cruise with the Rock.
It really is a damn shame & a tragedy.
Not playing anything currently, since I'm stuck out here on my second deployment.
Part of being in the service is being able to buy whatever game I want whenever I want, but never really having the time to play any of them like I should.
I have a huge backlog of games to get through (half new games, half wanting to revisit older games before moving onto their newer sequels)
My current list sits at 15 games. Maybe I'll have more time when I get to my shore command.
However, the last game I completed was Plague Tale: Innocence, and it was great.
