Got a crazy theory for the Kings Punch.
Luffy uses his last bit of strength to send Doflamingo flying to the ground. Doflamingo is still conscious and as he is about to start cursing Luffy, he sees Elizabello standing there, ready to use his kings punch. He sends Doflamingo flying up to the bird cage, and before passing out, undoes the birdcage so he won't get harmed.
Not likely to happen, but just a random thought. More likely he'll be the one to destroy the Smile factory with his power, since Franky is low on fuel. Or more likely it's neither of those.
So weird, yet surprisingly amusing.

They are fighting big shots from other pirate crews/countries, if those people were fighting Doffy or at least a top executive I'm sure they would either struggle or they would get 1-hit KO'ed (example Funk brothers fused).
For me the arc is progressing in a really nice flow and I keep looking forward to every chapter

Ah, so we find out why Baby 5 gets her quirky personality and 'when she is needed'….because her mom and the others from her home, abandoned her because she is useless. Also, to see her past being that of girl came from possibly a dishevelled family living in the mountaina, was unexpected. Kinda sucks we didn't get to see Lao. G unleashed his 'hulk like' attack onto Sai but the latter kicks the crap outta him and we're left with seven members of the Donquixote Pirates to be defeated. (Dellinger, Senor Pink, Gladius, Diamante, Pica, Trebol and Doflamingo, I think, am I right?)

The fights are scattered and offpaneled and we get a quick resolution with one hit.
You don't really thing I'm so dumb to think there was no fighting in between. Thing is, I like to see some fighting. Not in each and every fight, mind you. But this is the second week in a row where the same thing happened, and if it happens in the next chapter too, then I have a problem.
Thats why Dellinger should be outed by 2 Gladiators. Like clashing with Ideo and taking him out in process but then being overwhelmed by Blue Gilly(all my prayers go to that 
) and we see Shooting Moon being comparable to Sais kick and then later we see Sanji - God of Leg Fighters - doing something as awesome as Sai and Blue Gilly combined

With everything else going on though, do you really want to take time to focus on these fights other than their resolution? Pica and Diamante's sure, but the officers? While they're interesting characters we've already seen them all fight elsewhere several times outside these match-ups, so I don't feeling have a yearning to spend unnecessary time on them, especially in an Arc which is now 72 chapters long.
Well that's a tricky question. I don't want these fights to stretch endlessly, but at the same time, it's a shame to see characters that show promise being defeated in such an unceremonious manner. It is probably the best way to deal with the situation where there's so many fights going on at the same time, but can't help but wonder if it would have been better if it was done differently from the start.
This way we have some fights on and off, and then we get a quick resolution. Considering last chapter and how Machvise went down (or up ) it seems repetitive. If Dellinger or someone else gets taken out in a similar fashion next chapter, it will look even more repetitive.

You could still care about someone even if you view them that way…since it's useful to you.
People are complaining about quick resolution to fights? You really want to see minor characters like Sai exchange blows for 2 chapters before emerging victorious? Oda handled it best here. Nothing worse than minor-character Shonen fight that drags. There are more pressing matters to deal with in this arc.

I was re-reading the chapter on MangaStream today when the Baby 5 v. Sai panel caught my attention (yet again). I was trynna figure out what Sai could've said to make Baby 5 stop in the middle of a fight. We know Baby 5's personality and how she can't say no to anything anyone asks of her. This got me thinking, wouldn't it be crazy if Sai had proposed to her or something in the middle of the battlefield

He ultimately cares for himself and his own goal above everything else, which was shown perfectly when he asked PH team to die for him. Or when he killed hs brother. Ok, he was sad, I'll give him that. But that means he's nowhere near Luffy or Whitebeard when it comes to caring for his crew.

i have to say that was the most fun op chapter for a long time.
after last weeks focus on machvise and hajrudin i feared the colloseum vs executives would be kinda boring but this was just wonderful.
i loved everything of it. i laughed my ass off with lao Gs backpain, him almost dying an chinjaos drill getting damaged again. the baby 5 part was so adorable and i was feeling so bad for her.
i always hoped she would end up on the good side.
and sai was just badass

So the key was passed along 12 leaders and now to Don Sai the 13th. I wonder if the passing the key goes along with coc haki. Sai and Baby 5 will definitely be the next cover story or else it'll be mr pink

Hm, I interpreted that blurb as 7 fighters left on the second level (Zoro, Pica, Dellinger, Ideo, Sai, Orlumbus and Elizabello) but 7 Donquixote family members probably makes more sense.

Eh. I can't be mad at this chapter because it got another of Doflamingo's guys out of the way. Though I wouldn't have been mad if Baby 5 went through with it, sure wish she was as interesting as her devil fruit

So it's kinda obvious now that Ideo will take down Dellinger? Ideo was portrayed equals with Sai. It seems Ideo has a good judgement when he first saw Sai, Ideo said "I think your the strongest here".

Loved this chapter. I was really excited for it when I read the spoilers and it didn't let me down.
The last chapter and this one now is really putting a smile on my face. It gives the assurance that Luffy future allies like the giant and napo navy(commander Don Sai) will be a threat in New world.
I wasn't really that pumped for a chapter of Baby 5 and Sai, but man this chapter was awesome.

Don't get the complaints though. As cavendish said, the tournament was doflamingo's major miscalculation. It also fleshes out the side characters a little which is great

We saw Sai smack down the combined Funk Brothers in the arena, and then slug it out with Ideo.
He got eliminated after being kicked out of the ring by a gear second kick that came out of nowhere.
Him being able to take down an officer isn't really that farfetched.

It seems that Oda will focus his attention around Zoro and the Gladiators. The Family Executives fighting the Gladiators Alliance will be the primary focus and Oda will give secondary focus to Zoro.
Once all the Executives have all been taken out by the Gladiators… Oda will focus primarily on Zoro vs Pica. At least that's wh I think
