Even though the chapter was cool, I still can't get over the fact of Nami and Robin (especially Robin) not getting their own damn fights, which is some grade A bullshit if you ask me. I really (and I mean REALLY) fucking hope that Oda proves me wrong in the next chapter. -_-

Well it's a bit unfair to put it that way. (and it's not like bleach needs you do be unfair with it :p). You say that One piece has seven arc and bleach 4…but they don't have the same number of chapter and when one piece was at chapter 465, we were in the middle of thriller bark. So 5 arcs. Still more than bleach but not this much.

but i also generalized one piece much more than bleach

one piece we could easily do this
1. intro (alvida, morgan, buggy)
2. Kuro arc
3. Arlong Park arc
4. Grand Line Arc
5. Little Garden Arc
6. Drum Island Arc

Hell if you want to be even more picky you could split it up more. Keep Water 7 and Enies Lobby seperate. Separate Marineford and Impel Down. Seperate Buggy, Morgan, Alvida and other things.

To even put the amount of story content of one piece in the same sentence as bleach is an insult to the highest degree

Since both hodi and hyouzou have awoken, am assuming that wadatsumi will be a punching bag for sanji and jimbei until he awakens too, it should make the fight a bite more interesting, he seems like the type that can take pain well, or he will get KO before anything happens.

The only reason Hody and Hyouzou awoken was because they were scarfing down a lot of pills.
Wadatsumi only had one ES pill.

Hyouzou: was drinking heavely and only thing around to eat was teh pills, lol

Alright. I don't know how, but I've managed to read through this massive clusterfuck. I have no idea whatsoever where did they get this translator from…

First of all, the title is "Above the Fishman Island," and that's it. Nothing more, nothing less, just that. No Rising. I have no idea whatsoever how they were able to put "Fishman Island Rising" in there...
Secondly, their scanlation had this awkward scene, where they translated bubbles as if they were said by Zeo, but they were said by the audience who was picking on Zeo instead.
Thirdly, I have a weird feeling they might have the entire Sanji - Nami segment wrong.
Lastly, the name of Nami's attack is most likely wrong. Haven't seen the original name, so I'm not going to pitch my ideas here yet.

God, the urge to go and get my copy up is even bigger now... Screw you, typhoons!

Lets list different Arcs in One Pieces 640 chapters.

1. Introduction/East Blue/Heading to Grand Line
2. Baroque Works
3. Sky Island
4. CP9
5. Thriller Bark
6. Luffy's Brother
7. Fishman Island

Those are about as SMALL of number of arcs as you can get. You could easily triple that list if you broke them down even a little like Arlong Park arc, or Kuro Arc, or Drum arc, ect.

Now lets look at Bleach
1. Introduction/Hollow/ect.
2. Soul Society
3. Vizards/Arrancar
4. Fullbring

Bleach has four arcs. And Bleach you could NOT break down into anything smaller than that. It is just those four.

It would take me multiple word processor pages to very generically explain one piece's entire story. Bleach would take less than one page easy

to clarify Bleach is pretty terrible in terms of plot advancement or advancement of anything. One Piece isn't exactly fast, though. I'm sorry, but 640 chapters in I really can't call One Piece good in terms of main story advancement. A lot of the arcs are diversions from the main goal of the saga and/or postpone the next actual destination. However, the good part here is that despite having a basic formula One Piece does it incredibly well or even varies it up(gasp!). Some arcs can even be stand-alone stories, so newcomers don't have to be up-to-date with everything, yet still get the gist of what is going on. Not to mention even if the plot doesn't advance, there is still something funny or cool happening.

Chopper just switches enemies >.> I don't understand Usopp's attack but it looked cool and im sure the mangastream translation is wrong for what usopp said to chopper after Chopper did Horn Cannon, it just didnt make any sense to me. Nami has another nice fodder killer but I'm tired of these lightnings attacks where are your other elements at Ms. magician? >.> Also yes brook is fighting Hodi's right hand man. Im sure that means Oda wants to prove brook's usefulness to everyone now. Brook basically got the second strongest opponent if you dont count the giant and the mercenary they werent part of the original NFP's. Also I find it ironic that Ikaros' tattoo has a fire symbol on it.

And the match-ups continue. Nami, Usopp, Chopper, Brook, and Franky all had some nice action scenes (thought Ikaros would fight Brook, but oh well), but I hope Nami and Robin get their own fights.

Her awesome duck and camel are walking down the street with her while people cheer her on. -why hello there she's-old-enough-Vivi! God i missed you and your screams for peace that made my ears bleed. I see you've …grown... as well. -Carue is eating an apple. It looks like he's eating a spider though. Really look. The white spots look like eyes. -EYELASHES. HE HAS A ROMAN HELMET. SO BADASS. HE EATS APPLES LIKE A BOSS. He also has his "can't touch this" face on. Eyelashes for 2012 tourney king everybody. CHAPTER AHOOOOOOOOOOY~ -We start out with a big nice panel showing whats going on in the plaza. - That little dot in the air is Sanji. Damn that cute/creepy hairy giant fish hopped up on drugs is big. And ugly. -And that lump in the corner is the Kraken...Poor guy.... -Sanji yells at Wadatsume for knocking out Nami with the wind pressure made by falling on his ass. -Somewhere else, Nami is giving us a show of another cool attack! I don't know if the chapter's dialog is supposed to be like that, but MS' translation is kinda weird.

Good chapter, liked the match-ups, while still hoping Nami and Robin to do something else than fight fodder. Oda really needs to stop doing mistakes with Zoro's eye or the freaking annoying discussion about "a secret eye power" will never end.
And Vivi's looking great.

The poor girls in this chapter, jeez. Nami started out strong with a pretty cool new attack, and then becomes the first crew member to need someone to save her in this brawl. I mean, it was bound to happen sooner or later and it should, but why to one of the two people who don't get to redeem themselves next to a vs box. I'm not sure if it's better or worse than Robin, who was the only one to not appear in this chapter at all. I mean, I understand it's in their character to defer to the guys and let them fight, but I really wanted to see more of the weather ball stuff and at least one of the two of them should have gotten in on a real fight. There's certainly more to come, but for now those vs boxes appeared which suggests they're set in stone. Anyway, that covers my only negative thoughts of the chapter, so now to the good stuff.

• Vivi shows how much she loves her people by traveling with a posse of animals. Does Cobra really get his own cover?

• I still feel sorry for poor Wadatsumi. Someone needs to give him some more meth.

• I really do like Nami's fighting style. I want mooooore.

• Brook's freaking awesome. Only he can save the day while asking to see panties (plus a dead joke). Nami even punched him for it. Good stuff. Also, YESSSS Brook gets a fight!!! Woohoo!

• I really hope Franky gets out of that robot in order to fight.

• Zeo's definitely my favorite of the NFP. Dude's hilarious. "You're stepping on my face… but... only because... that was my plan. I'm even naming it."

• Chopper got pretty good, and Usopp's attack is spectacular. I like how they're working together again and referencing Alabasta. It shows how much better they got.

• I'm pretty surprised that Decken's ability (that he apparently can't stop) stops working when he loses consciousness. That just seems wrong to me, but whatever. The scene of him slipping and knocking himself out after all the damage he took is hilarious. He'll probably wake up in time and Noah will act like a yo-yo. I'm curious what to make of his declaration about saving Hody on his left hand. Does that mean that he's going to give up Shirahoshi when he needs to touch someone new? Either way, the last spread is amazing.

Looking forward to next week chapter. I guess with a break it means we're about due for a color spread and such. It'll be a rough week off, but the fact that the first post timeskip anime episode airs that week makes things a bit more tolerable.

Loved the chapter. I'm starting to agree with the Nami/Robin stuff, and I do really hope that they get their own fights soon. Nami's and Usopp's new techniques are hella cool. Brook having his own fight is awesome, and I'm sure him and Zeo are gonna have a hilarious battle… Zeo's definitely one of my favourite NFPs as well. I really love the references to Alabasta, with Usopp and Chopper fighting a digger and a brute. Hope to see more of Sanji/Jinbe, Zoro and Luffy's battles next chapter, but overall it was a great chapter.

That last Noah and Fishman Island spread is. . .beautiful. That angle, the scope, it's freaking breathtaking. Say what you will about the current arc, but drawing wise, Oda is working very hard.

Good chapter, but I think after all of these build-up chapters, we could go forward with the developements, fighting wise or plot wise, or both of them. I hope the Ark doesn't fall very fast or else the fights will have to be cut short. . .but maybe that was the idea to begin with, short fights to show how much the SH's are above the NFP.

And just adding one thing: Zeo is hilarious. He steals the show with his gags.

Y'know…thinking about it, Nami and Robin's powers would actually be most suited to stopping Noah from hitting Fishman Island. Between whatever gales Nami can cook up, and Robin's giant hands, they could probably be capable of that.

compare brook to USOPP, not to nami or zoro. If you look nami and zoro are in front of brook thus further away from us and thus they look smaller and brook looks taller

yea most likely shirahoshi is going to freak out seeing the ship heading towards all her people and some seakings come and either destroy it or manage to make it land safely next to the island.

Maybe they knock it off course and right before it lands Robin uses like a million hands to cushion its landing just enough to make it survive

In Robin's case, she hasn't had a one on one fight in forever, so it's not bad to want one to happen. Especially now, when it seems like everyone else is getting one.
