I was just thinking it up since we have so many new unexplained VA and two new Admirals. For Oda to give the Marines a new found power as well as to use Bonney it'll be perfect. It covers why Akainu wanted her, the new Admirals and VA, Akainu looking younger, and the new found power. It was just a thought. Only time will tell. If I am correct on my prediction remember where you heard it first, and if not I'll slowly fade away pretending this theory was never brought up.

RE: One Piece 705: Maynard "The Pursuer"
I haven't posted in awhile, but I have a question. Does anyone think the new power the Marines received was Jewelry Bonney making formal Admirals, VA, and the Gorosei younger? That would explain where Fujitora came from (even if he is old) and Akainu appearing to look younger (at least to me).

RE: One Piece 699: The Morning News
Yeah that's the problem I have with it too. It's where I'm stuck. On the one hand, Oda can make some of the Vices as Admirals but they have NOT been impressive so far. The only one who really has a shot is Onigumo. I don't really see any of the others being a part of the strongest marine force after just 2 years. Granted, as others have said, we haven't seen their full power yet but one would think Oda would have at least hinted during the war which ones were the strongest or at least show them do more.
On the other hand, Oda can introduce a new character to be put in that position. The problem with that, at least for me, is that being an Admiral is not the same as being a Warlord. They can't just put a random person in that position. It can't be a strong pirate, and I doubt they would find a person as strong just walking about. I also can't believe that they had a person as strong as the admirals not participate in the war at all and had them stationed somewhere. If the marines had someone we never saw before who was close to being as strong as the Admirals, that person would have definitely participated in the war. So I really have no idea what Oda is going to do. Actually, the World Government can actually put forth candidates themselves to fill the vacant positions. It would make sense to me, and that can actually work if it's a new character. We'll just have to see what Oda does.
We sort of have a hint that the two new Admirals are not as strong as Akainu or Kuzan. Oda could use any previous VA, and use the "new power" as a way to balance out the three powers. Now, this may not be as intriguing as two new characters, but I believe Oda will balance the power with the "new power."

RE: One Piece 693 : Die for me
I have a theory from looking at the color page. I belive that Mono and his father will stay with the SHC to find a way to switch Momo back into a human because he is stuck in his dragon form (failed DF for a reason). The reason why they will travel with them is because they will run into Vegapunk eventually or the DF army. One of them most have a way to switch him back.
Also, Great chapter. I love the color spread and how everything is moving along for an exciting conclusion. Like others have already mentioned, I believe CC has Monet heart. Another great chaper for OP, but the true highlight was we had a Black Beard sighting. 10/10.

RE: Chapter 690: S.A.D
I haven't made a post in awhile, but after reading this chapter I have to. Did Law just cut a mountain in half? I was tripping at the fact in the spoilers he cut the room in half. A mountain?! I don't care he Law power is overpowered compared to some of the other fruits. Law is amazing! That speech was great. Oda is Brilliant. This arc is coming to a close wonderfully. with the kids, the stories, the character growth, and the action. People had the nerve to say Oda lost it. Ha. I pitty the fools.

RE: Chapter 677: "Counter Hazard"
It's strange that no one noticed that both of Killer's hands have been destroyed. On http://www.mangahere.com/manga/one_piece/v60/c677/2.html you can clearly see that his right hand is robotic and on http://www.mangahere.com/manga/one_piece/v60/c677/5.html you see his both robotic hands. Maybe Kidd and killer fought an emperor who has some problem with arms :ninja: Shanks
I noticed it, but I thought Kidd made it for him using use power so he could easily access his two curved sword.

RE: Chapter 677: "Counter Hazard"
I know I have not had a post in awhile, but I had to come on here and speak my mind. This is what makes One Piece head and shoulders above its competition. Oda really does a great job with growing, exposing, and giving the light to background characters. Adding Kid, Hawkins, and Apoo in one chapter while showing off their character is something few mangas do. I don't know about anyone here, but I appreciate the little details Oda installs in his manga to highlight the bigger picture down the road. To even give Robin highlight doing the cage scene was impressive not because she was seen as a threat next to Luffy and company, but because he actually let's other characters shine besides Luffy. Most manga writers progress minor characters in a sudden unrealistic way, but Oda has been showing the growth and progress of his characters for years.
Now for the chapter grade. Solid 9.5/10. The only reason it does not get a ten is because no Black Beard sightings.

RE: Chapter 673: Vergo and Joker
I haven't posted here in a few chapters, but I'll thought I will drop by and share some things. I am very impressed with Oda's writting. Out of the big three he seems to be head and shoulders above his peers. I am just so impressed by everything he has done up to this point. I am very disappointed that Luffy underestimated CC because once before he was looked at as a push over. I thought he would realise this lesson, but Oda has no problem punishing his main character. Also, The Don man is Joker and Vergo is his G5 mole. Wow. Oda has me speechlesd. And to think some comics come out monthels at a time, but Oda drops gems on a week to week basis.
Chapter gets a 9.5/10. No Black Beard = -.5 -
RE: One Piece Chapter 670 - Blizzards with a Chance of Slime
@The:
I wonder if Luffy will ever be afraid of an opponent; show fear. But maybe he's too stupid–and I don't mean stupid in the 'stupid character' way--to know what fear is.
Would you consider the moment when he and his crew where running away from the Pacificas and Kizaru as showing fear?
