I'm not talking about genetics, obviously the chances are 50 percent either way. But in the end the one who chooses what is the gender is Oda, not genetic odds.
And I'm just saying that it would be convenient that the children of the Amazons are girls in almost all cases, since this would corroborate the reason why there is so few women in Amazon Lily who ever saw a man.
And if Luffy and Hancock had a girl, it also would allow that Luffy's child grow up in AL, completely protected from the World Government, since they wouldn't even suspect.
Edit: Thanks MetaMario and herr_sebbe, I didn't remember if there was an actual statement about the children born in AL being girls or not. But there it is… :)
