Was exciting when they added Ryu from street fighter to smash bros back in June. But now Just found out they added Cloud from FF7 to Smash Bros as well. SO much hype!

Just caught up with Toriko, couldn't stop laughing at everyone getting bigger than Toriko. Especially when Coco got bigger, Toriko's face priceless. This probably not the place to ask this but why did mangastream stop scanning Toriko? I enjoy way more than Bleach and Naruto and they still scanning those manga's.

Seriously got to dumb it down this much? The first what 100 or so episodes quality doesn't look so good to current standards since they came out decade ago. Even though I don't mind it and most fans won't either pretty sure they won't be thinking the same the broadcasters. They want something that will attract viewers for high pay commercials and so on and you know the usual business shenanigans.

Or are you saying the Funi up the quality of it? If so that is badass.

Censoredship really? Didn't they slip in Cell saying "oh shit" on toonami the first time that episode was aired when Vegeta used his Final Flash on him? I think it might be because of the quality of the show not being update to date today's standards of anime. Also probably cost them money to air it no?

Thing is even if the new dub is running. It's not like that new Dub is being aired weekly like DBZ was and bleach and naruto for that matter. At least to my knowledge it isn't? Is the New Funi One Piece dub being aired weekly on any channel?

HERE is the most recent NYTBSL for manga. Naruto volume 50 has been on the list for 11 weeks, debuting and mostly staying at #1, while One Piece volume 56 reached #10 after it's second week and then dropped off.

If it helps you any, Naruto will be finished sometime within the next two to three years most likely, while One Piece will still be going strong.

I honestly think it might be even sooner like a 1 to 2 years. Although this might be just my wishful thinking. Just to me for the pass 20 or so chapters the manga seemed rushed. But yes like you said One Piece will still be going strong once that series ends the fandom's brain will start working and convert to OnePiecenism.

My guess is that there is still a dedicated group of fans that think Bleach is actually a quality work, or hope that it will get better. Also, there is probably a bunch of people that just want to finish their collection and buy it out of obligation to complete it. Then you have young and stupid new readers that get their parents to buy them the manga they are currently into. It is a combination of all those things and more than make Bleach appear to still be popular, when in actuality, a little over 700,000 copies isn't very good at all when you compare it to One Piece, which sells more than twice that in less than two days.

What bothers me more than the Japanese sales is the North American sales. Bleach and Naruto stay on the New York Times Best Seller List for weeks at a time, while One Piece barely peeks it's head in for one week if it is lucky.

What section in New York Times may I read this? Curious about this now didn't even know times wrote about manga.

Amazing Bleach actually sells that many volumes. Kind a scary view of the public for me I don't know.
