Killing of the already beaten Doffly so he pretend take the credit, uh? I never considered picking up leftovers as a show of competence. That's why I find Tashigi giving the finishing blow than if she as just stay down.
I understand what you mean. I've been stating for some time that I want Law to kill/take down Doflamingo. I find their interactions, in terms of two characters, the most interesting in the entire series at this point in time. Now of course this could be due to it being so recent, but their feelings towards one another and the way Oda has expertly written their entire history and dynamic is masterclass writing. Easily, the best thing since timeskip for me and also the best new character is also Corazon (for me). Which says something since I love Barto, and Cora was shown for just 8 chapters.
I would like Law to come back towards the end of the fight and put some damage on Doflamingo, but it seems less and less likely especially since the last chapter. I wouldn't say the scenario is 1:1 as it is for Tashigi, one of the worst characters in One Piece, because Law has done some serious damage. I fully expect Law's last two attacks to play a role in Doflamingo losing to Luffy. In an (my) ideal world, Luffy and Law would tag team Doflamingo with Law pulling the finishing hit, and tag team Kaido with Luffy pulling the finishing blow, but I am unsure that will happen. I think Law has done enough damage that if Doflamingo were to get away from Luffy only for Law to kill him, I would be satisfied enough. The way Law was crying at the end of last chapter makes it even more cringeworthy if Luffy ends up KO'ing Doflamingo, but alas, I've mentally prepared myself for the most uninteresting possible outcome.
