Yes, that's a fake too. Both this and the other 1280x720 RAW were on Share before the episode was broadcast, so they are definitely fake.

Not sure why a real one hasn't shown up yet - it's been several months since the last time the RAW was this late. I may not have time to upload a torrent before I go to bed this week, but hopefully Saiyaman RAW will come out before too much longer.

I'm not an expert, but I'll let you know what I think and believe.

The first thing that gets me is how fast a 1280x720 appears. No 640x480 at all. There's two fakes right now, but I know that one of them has been hanging around half a day before it actually aired. It's just a tad suspicious.

Second is the filename. I'm pretty sure you won't find a valid episode of OP that has [高橋朋樹] or [栄治] in the title (unless you start changing the filenames in share). I think they're people's names, and it's just… wrong. Last time I tried to test this theory, I got a panda show. A file that has [TVアニメ], [アニメ], or D-CX is probably something better. Heck, even the ones without those (earlier episodes) are fine.

Great episode.
Loved it, although the animation wasn't the best. Still fine. Couls use more motion in some parts.
Preview doesn't say much about the quality of next ep, nor about how much it'll cover, but some parts of it hint for real good quality next week!

Eh, seeing as how I'll probably be done school when the fight is almost over, I wouldn't mind doing something like that.

For some reason, I could feel the hope and determination when Sanji finds the paint on the wall. Maybe it was because of the music. I also thought the whole Luffy and Franky thing was impacting.

Allthough it's already time for 299, something from 298 still kinda bothers me.
I already knew Sanji would get his flaming leg somewhere during this fight. But it just was there suddenly and me and my friends were like what the hell, "where did that come from?"
Luffy said he thought up some new moves, and his gears had somewhat of a proper introduction. Does this mean Sanji's flaming leg was there whole along for the past 250 episodes?

The Luffy - Franky vs Lucci fight was nice to see, as I felt It was kinda skipped in the manga - we went almost directly from Franky arriving to Luffy going gear 2.

Still, it's strange to have Zoros' fight cut short when theres' so little of it left. I was dead sure it'd have been a full-ep brawl, like Sanji vs Jabs.

let's also take into account that zeff might have taught him this move back then but he wasn't strong enough to master it. maybe red leg zeff never implied him having his legs full of blood but in fire instead. well, that's how i see things.

Why does he keep changing the aspect ratio around? Cant he just record everything in widescreen?

Saiyaman sometimes uses the raw from Share and sometimes doesn't. It differs from week to week. Not sure if he ever records it himself or not.

299 WS RAW is finally available if anyone still wants it. It was reencoded from the HD RAW (not by me though), so the quality should be a little better than usual.

Thanks for answering, I don't expect it to be totally plausible (OP being about a rubber guy wanting to be Pirate King), but this is the first thing in all those episodes that got me startled.
Oops not true, all the people miraculous surviving being blasted to bits has surprised me as well, but I got used to that.

I've been thinking, maybe the next episode won't be advertised as 300 in Japan. I mean, those year end specials weren't really episodes, they were…specials. So, TECHNICALLY, 298 is airing on Sunday. If the true 300 (302) has Gear 3 Luffy, it would be nice. However, as it stands, it seems that Toei is going to advertise the next episode as 300. Lame.

Gosh, enough with this Oyabun crap. It really was fun while it was a one time thing. It was new, original and refreshing but right now it is just boring and repetative. If Toei really wants to fill the time they should animate the side stories.

Yeah, i thought 30 chapters behind was a reasonable distance, but seems like the anime is at its limit..well, a break or filler special is still better than dragging too much, though.

Looking at the manga chapters it'll probably cover, I'm hoping 304 will get that "liquid" animation style, like 289. It'd suit it perfectly.

I was thinking of that. When it says "to be continued", all you hear is Luffy yelling, "Gear 3!" That would be pretty cool.
